Beautiful beach less than 2 kilometres from Split. When I was there (in April) it was quiet. No or little possibility to buy drinks, so bring your own. Also bring a parasol to protect yourself from the sea and water shoes for the urchins.

During our stay in Split we visited three beaches (Obojena, Kašjuni, Bačvice) and we think that Obojena is the best. Water is clean, beach wide. Near to the beach there is a Bar and a toilet.

Great place for swimming but beware of urchins - I got a couple of spines in my finger in the shallow waters.

The area is very nice , the beach is not for the ones with sensetive feets , there are only stone beaches here so bring some swimming shoes .

Free parking and also have hade a place to park my car. Not too crowded. Only minus - the big beach bar did not work

Beautiful beach. Parking is there. Clear water. Free beach. Long walking till the other beach close by. The only think that wasn’t there is the bar or kiosk where to buy water, beer.

Absolutely stunning beach! Keep in mind its not sandy, it’s more pebbly. The water is crystal clear, and there is a restaurant nearby if you need food and drink :)

Very rocky pebble beach, so many great places to lay and observe the beautiful waterline. Would 100% recommend coming here as it is not far from the city centre and is very walkable. Do be prepared as it is really crowded. You may want to bring some sort of water shoes if you are actively playing in the water. Otherwise just a towel to lay on the rocks and some sunscreen should do the trick. In contrast, if you are looking for a sandy beach that is more kid friendly or a place to play and do more water activities like throwing a disc or ball; I would definitely recommend bacvice beach.

Beach is stoney not good to walk on also sea urchins just a few meters out in the sea BUT as we had our swim a pod of Dolphins swam past..... amazing to see

Very nice and accessible beach. This place is really good for families but remember to bring your umbrella.

Clean. Enough parking. Water has some waves to it. Stairs to come in and float. Pebbly.
