Me and husband took the Plitvice Lakes tour in Jul. The company was very responsive and the best option we could find matching our itinerary and budget. Our guide Silvio was fantastic with good knowledge on Croatia's past and present - so he made all conversations interesting. Even inside the park, he showed us interesting viewpoints and photo spots. We had a fun-filled day. Overall, would 100% recommend.

Brilliant guide, knowledgable and funny. A day trip to Dubrovnik from Split. A long journey but well worth it. Dubrovnik is an awesome walled city, words just do not convey the experience. I'd go back again tomorrow.

Terrible experience with this company, I’ve paid for Blue Cave and Hvar, we ere in at the meeting point the blue Split flag 20 minutes before netting time, there were some people and operators with lists of clients they do not had my name, my husband Gosseling de Vriee the reservation was at his name call 3 times to Portal since 7:15 in the morning they said that they do not know why they leave if they knew we were there waiting, but nobody had our names and nobody knows about this Portal Agency, they ruin our day, beware!!! They will happen to you!!!

I'd highly recommend the Krka Waterfalls and Sibenik Tour. Even before the trip, Ivana in customer service was extremely helpful. The trip itself was a gorgeous day, with a fantastic host. Ernest was not only incedibly knowledgeable but a really friendly and genuine person. The tour gave us plenty of time to explore the park both at Skradinski buk and Roski Slap, (would recommend going up to the cave if you can - the views are gorgeous). And it was great to see the town of Sibenik too and relax at the end of the day! Thanks so much Ernest, Antonio and the team!

Had a really great experience with Portal day Tours. The group was a small group of approx 15 people with a comfortable bus and good air-conditioning! Tour guide was a wealth of knowledge and the bus driver was very safe. Great company, currently booking another trip through them 😄

I did several tours with Portal over the summer and kick started with a personal art tour of Trogir with a local historian. If you love art history and history you have to visit this amazing place to see some very special transitions between Celtic / pagan and Christian Art and Renaissance and Baroque - it’s an extremely unique microcosm of world class UNESCO protected culture created by master craftsman. The nature tours to the national parks were also fantastic and each tour was totally different with very different styles of hosts and guides. Highly recommend booking with this independent business.

Must say that I never met a person that is so unwilling to sell excursions and so ignorant. When I walked into the agency she was just staring at the computer. When I tried to get her attention to discuss the different options she seemed really bothered but responded with price for an excursion, but as I had my kids with me she told me that she didn't know the price for them. When asking her kindly to check it up she responded with "now". She picked up here phone (once again really bothered) and got the price. Once we got the price we went out and she didn't even bothered to say good bye etc.

Very informative and friendly lady in the office. Booked a trip to Krka waterfalls. Tour guide was Earnest who was great fun and the waterfalls were beautiful. I was definitely "happy tired" at the end!

First trip to Croatia. Stayed in Split. Booked tour to Medjugorje through Portal. Then took a day tour is Split and Togir. Wow! Great service. Friendly and knowledgeable guide. Andrej went out of his way to pass along both local and historical information. Can’t say enough great things about the service!!

Do not book a tour with this company! There are many other Split excursion companies that you can book with that will go to the same locations you wish to travel to. After booking I was unable to make the tour due to extenuating circumstances and when I emailed to let them know they said a refund or partial refund would be possible, later (after the tour began) that said it was not possible. If they had let me know right away that it would not be possible I would have done my best to still try to make it. Very rude and unfair.

We did 2 wonderful tours with this great agency. It is very professional and lovely! We went to the krk park tour and the blue, green cave tour. Especially the krk tour was great since we had the greatest host ever: Ernest. He was really funny and made our day!
