A friend of mine used to work here. Employees will talk behind your back, don't actually clean the machines but they act like they do. The manager, misforms people and is rude to customers on a daily basis. They do not do mask checks and the solution they use is highly watered down but they don't tell their customers that! So if you're going to spend your money going to a gym, sometimes paying a little bit more is worth it especially if they're going to water down cleaning solution during a world-wide pandemic.

This place still forces people to come into their gym to cancel, instead of letting you do it on the phone, which is outrageous during a pandemic. Who wants to go into a place where people are breathing heavily and sweating during a pandemic? Not only that, they charged me without my consent for 50 dollars, and refused to give me billing # so i could ask for a refund. Horrible.

I called the gym asking to speak with a manager. As soon as she got on the phone, she was rude right off the bat. I asked about getting a refund since I was charged and was never notified that they would charging their members again since reopening. She was so nasty to me and said that emails were sent out. She also clearly stated that many members kept complaining that they never received emails but yet did nothing about it.

Disrespectful staff.

Terrible staff!! First of all, most of the time during the night shift there is no one in the front desk and the staff would be working out and I have to wait for them to come turn on one of the massage chairs for me. Secondly, I specifically asked one of the staff members 3 weeks before I wanted to cancel my membership about when is the right time to cancel because I’m moving out of state and he told me that I can cancel literally the day before I move and I shouldn’t have any issues. 2 days before I cancelled my policy they took $27 out of my account for membership fees so I asked to get a refund since I’m moving out of state and I paid for the month while I’m not going to be using the gym and the staff told me they can’t issue a refund and that the manager can do that for me and he comes in the mornings. I went in the morning and the manager was so rude and said he can’t issue a refund for me and that the staff is wrong so apparently The customer is the one paying for the staff’s fault!!!!! I’m soo disappointed and I’ll never join this gym again!!

There is an employee that is harassing me. The mask rule in place for planet fitness is suppose to be for everyone but she kept focusing on me to put my mask over my nose when a lot of other people had it under their nose(or off completely). There was a guy on the stairmaster that walked on it with his mask completely down for over 10 minutes she saw him and said nothing to him at all. Yet she said something to me 3 times within a few minutes. What reason could she have for wanting to harass me and target me and be more strict with me over the other customers? Disgusting place, won't go there anymore.

Great amenities and clean environment. However, it seems that particular site has a policy which can get out of hand. I have been asked on three occasions already for a picture at the front desk for a profile. On the fourth occasion, I felt harassed and embarrassed when one of the staff members followed me to the floor asking me to come back to the front to take a picture again. I asked him respectfully to wait till I came back out there since I had already started working out. Same staff refused I used the massage chairs till I took said picture, proceeding to ask me for my number to pull up said profile wasting my time and ruining my energy in the process.

I was a member before the pandemic and when they closed for 6 months wasn’t expecting to be charge the annual fee until they had been back open for the total years term. Went in to see if they could do something about out it only to find out I was talking to a tape recorder(the manager) “it’s an annual fee”. Well to me that sounds like the service should be available for more than half of the time in between the fees. I don’t know about you guys but it’s frustrating feeling like they are open during a pandemic just to collect annual and monthly fees from people who couldn’t even go use there services.

Mostly I do not leave reviews or feedback, if there will be a -Ve rating stars system then I will give out -Ve 5 stars to this club. We just moved in the area and our old location is out of way, so we just started going into East Brunswick Planet. we encountered a worse experience of our life, today when we were at the counter, I presented my phone for scanning, and then I asked the receptionist let my wife come as a guest, and she started giving her phone no to the person, suddenly the man abrupted and said she is rude, even she did not say anything to him, then I asked him how she is rude, she even did not speak out a single word to you, then he said to me, I am mean, and also he said that when we were there last time, we were rude and mean on that time too. we requested to talk with a store manager, then he gave us a business card, when I tried calling the store manager, that was the store phone no and manager was not around, so I will call manager tomorrow. He pushed us out and asked us we may leave the club now. I never had this kind of humiliation entire my life, we are our mid 50, and parents of same age children the man on the counter. My wife is very nice person and working as a public educator, she was really upset about this encounter, we will never go back to this club again, and we may cut our membership altogether from Planet, Low membership does not mean, people should be disrespectful to you. We had 10 years membership Retro and never had this kind of customer service ever.

Just glad a gym is open and we're getting back to normal. I love the treadmills. Getting the black card for me was valuable as. I can bring my wife but also use the hydro massage beds and massage chairs. Clean facility. Wish they had more space in the locker rooms. Cleaning sprays and paper towels are everywhere and I like that.

We're back to not fixing things again. This cable has been broken down for more than two months now, even though the sign on the machine says "temporarily out of order". There's also another machine nearby that has been out of order for about two weeks. Who holds the management at this gym accountable, especially for fixing simple cables? Hopefully the owners will see this post and fix these simple issues. When the gym gets packed, its hard to get a workout in, especially with machines being broken.

Require you to go in person to cancel

Decent place, the business model is a little off. Mandated monthly reoccurring payment doesn’t sit the best with me. But putting that aside, because that’s how all gyms are unfortunately run; I went in today to finally get back into working out & wore a mask obviously. But, apparently that mask wasn’t enough. It needed to be cloth mask. Fair, the company mandated that policy. So I asked if they give them away. “No, but we sell them.” I’m sure they do. If a company wants to mandate a policy, they should supply material at no additional cost. Or at least issue one free per person so I’m not inconvenienced on the day of. Just food for thought. That’s the difference between a business that caters to the customer VS. company overhead. Needless to say I’m going to cancel until this COVID mess is over.

Pretty disappointed in the way this place is run, bad service compared to numerous other locations I’ve visited. I initially had a bad experience with a worker the within the first few weeks of opening, I understand your policy is no bags in the gym floor but it was 12am and the only other member was on the opposite side of the gym... to interrupt me about having my bag with me during those kind of hours with no one around was very off putting so I went out of my way for a while to farther locations. I then gave the East Brunswick location a second chance and was told after 10 visits as a black card member I have to pay $5 per visit. I was never explained this during sign up, nor did I see this on the website when I was doing my research before signing up with planet fitness. It seems this is consistent with the service at East Brunswick in the short time it’s been open as other reviews also point to other locations not giving a hassle. To top it off, the worker told me I was being ripped off by Edison and that all other locations are doing it wrong. This location has made me lose interest in my membership with planet fitness any longer, I will seek out and go out of my way for another 24 hour service gym. I hope district management takes note of these reviews to get this location on par with the atmosphere of other planet fitness locations. The facility has great potential, but what a let down and very disappointed.

I was at Planet Fitness in East Brunswick for only one day. I saw the manager (she is tall with blonde hair - works Sat morning) in Victoria Secret and she was in front of me in line. I said Oh you are from Planet Fitness. I just started there a day ago. She barely acknowledged me and turned her head talking to her friend putting the phone in her friend's face playing little child-like games that some young people play. First of all when you are out in public, you represent whatever company you work for when wearing their shirt. I just came from Jersey Strong gym where the people that work there are definitely more professional and customer focused. I would go back to Jersey Strong but I am very friendly with the owners of the Thai Restaurant next door. When you are in public, you never know when you can get a customer for your business or lose a customer and you never ever know who someone is. Any company I have ever worked for I always feel I represented no matter what position I am in. Please train this woman.

It's a nice gym located conveniently between East Brunswick and Old Bridge on route 18 south. Love the vibe and it's super clean from inside.

A bad gym but a gym none the less. This is a very beginner gym and has a unmotivating vibe in it. Want to get big? Go to somewhere like Crunch or Esporta where you are surrounded by body builders who will motivate you and help you fix your mistakes

Your valuables are not safe at Planet Fitness. Even though the price is cheap, do not go to this gym – the risk of losing your stuff, paired with unhelpful staff that do not care at all about their customers makes this one of the worst gyms you could possibly attend. I would highly recommend going to a slightly more expensive place where they don’t have absurd policies, and you don’t need to be concerned about being stolen off of. My friend and I came and saw the “no bags on the floor” policy, which was odd considering no other gym I have been to has had such a rule. Because of it, we put our bags in the locker room lockers, only to find that all of our money had been stolen. We complained to the staff, whose only response was to purchase a $5 lock to prevent this from happening, despite the fact that one of the other staff members told us himself that there’s been a lot of theft at the gym, including people’s locks being cut and their valuables stolen. He also told us that people have lost THOUSANDS of dollars previously, and that all that could be done was to use the tiny lockers they have outside the locker room and hope you aren’t stolen off of there. The staff seemed as though they did not care whatsoever about not just our belongings being stolen, but also the many other customers that have had their property stolen as well. Nothing is being done to address the amount of theft at Planet Fitness. The gym either needs to remove/not enforce the no bags on the floor policy, or make it very clear to their customers that their property is not secure, even with a normal lock, and that customers should go out of their way to independently purchase a lock that can’t be cut.

wish theyd stop letting children "workout" here. all they do is mess around and hold up machines.... not looking forward to another summer of these animals hanging out in the gym for free while i pay for my membership

They are literally scamming everyone, my son had to pay close to $300 for using their membership for one month. They don’t disclose any information upfront they charged $60 for annual membership for being member for 1 month and $106 for cancellation. Don’t join them and waste your money. If owner who comments on positive review should also pay attention to other issue and address that

Dont waste your money here. They froze my account when the pandemic hit and then reopened and continued charging a debit card I no longer had. Racked up $250 in fees and sent it to collections without me knowing. Now they tell me nothing they can do unless I pay it. Take you business elsewere. Joke of a company.

The gym is well set up, but with rules that I think are not for a place where activities are practiced physical many rules and a lot of freshness I think they are confusing with a hospital or a library. 👎🏾

Started coming here a month ago since it's closer to home than the North Brunswick PF. Reading some of the one star reviews and all I can say is people are bizarre. I'm here 5-6 days a week and I've never experienced or seen others experience intimidation or lack of customer service? Clean facilities, new machines, friendly staff...its a great gym for any fitness level. I mentioned an issue with one of the smith machines and the next night I came back and it was already repaired

Very helpful and friendly staff. The staff work extra miles for their customers. Shone treat me very kind, patience and explain all the information about gym very well. He should get employee of the month. Kiki, Daniel and other staff are very nice, kind and very helpful. This Planet fitness is far much better that my old gym and other gyms.

I signed up for what I thought was a Full Access Membership only to learn it was the Basic. After trying to roll over the Membership Fee to UPGRADE... I was told by the Manager Daniel that I would have to forfeit the Membership Fee because it was paid in full & there was no way to upgrade. I spoke w Assistant Manager Amanda who tho she was nice enough couldn’t give me the number for Headquarters. I finally got that number from another franchise and Headquarters does NOT ANSWER ... so no resolve there. The Ad was misleading but this Customer was certainly taken for a ride. At this point the Membership hasn’t even been used! So so disappointed. I also found out they’re not even Accredited through the Better Business Bureau! Buyer Beware!! No matter what they respond.... it’s a total loss here!

Worst gym around... Don't waste your time.

Although I had to cancel my membership today due to my own financial reasons, I love this gym because of how spacious and clean it is. When I had to cancel my gym membership today the general manager made it so easy and was extremely kind. I hope to join Planet Fitness again one day

Being a brand new gym there should be better accommodations made to new customers walking in. Your GM Kevin made me and my friend very uncomfortable. I don’t even want to go back. My friend was going to upgrade to a black card membership but, after speaking today with Kevin she has second thoughts. He was so unprofessional spoke to us like we were children or maybe he was sexist. He was the most unprofessional non accommodating manager I have ever encountered. I will never recommend a single person to the East Brunswick planet fitness as long as Kevin is the GM. He tried to intimidate us so bad over $5 telling us why do we go places with no money and that we shouldn’t do that. I’m so disappointed as a new member to the EB Location. I’m so surprised as planet fitness is suppose to be judgment free zone but all he was doing was making me and my coworker feel less than him.

This is a FRANCHISE of Planet Fitness, not an actual Planet Fitness. That means their rules are different and they have different policies. Their equipment is more outdated than others. There are other gyms in the area with comparable pricing and will give you alot better of an experience. Also, if you try and cancel you will lose your access immediately even if you have already paid for the month. Their business model is not very friendly to consumers. The verdict here is simple. STAY AWAY. If you really want to join a Planet Fitness find an actual one that is run by corporate.

My husband and I, who are both retired, joined PF about four months ago. Despite being older than most of the clientele, we feel comfortable and welcome there. We find this location spacious and clean. The courteous and helpful staff are readily available. We're always greeted upon check-in. The workout options satisfy every level of fitness and challenge. We love the full body 30-minute workout, with one exception: despite a sign prominently posted at the entry to the room, people often come in and selectively use one or two of the machines and some don't wipe them off as required (signs are posted throughout the gym in every area). These machines are duplicates of those on the open floor. This rude behavior interferes with people doing the circuit. As with any communal space, common courtesy promotes a pleasant experience for everyone. Also, I would love to see fitness classes added Monday through Thursday mornings. Currently, the trainer works afternoons and evenings on these days, except Fridays. Overall, a bargain for the membership cost!

Zero star for the lady on the front desk Jaye. She was rude and unhelpful. No smile. 👎 I'm a member and brought a friend with me to try the club, I felt so embarrassed in front of her because the lady showed a horrible fisrt impression. We leave no training. 😕

Great gym, everyone there is extremely nice and helpful, and it's spotless

Pretty much just like every mid price gym, except only $10 a month. Never seen them do ant of that wierd planet fitness stuff here like the lunk alarm, everyone pretty much just leaves you alone. Place is pretty clean and people wipe down and return weights for the most part. Gets pretty crowded during prime time weekdays, but there's always room on the treadmills.

I love this planet fitness.the staff is great..... The place is always clean and someone is always cleaning it. Always have a good workout when I go there

Been going to this gym for a while but today there were kids that looked under the age of 13 in the gym. A group of boys running around and messing with the weighs and little girls making tik toks in the bathroom. No hate to the gym but that’s just unprofessional and in the guidelines it says no children under 13.

Had an issue with my account. The gentleman who helped me today, not sure of his name, was super helpful. He is always working out and also works there. He was super pleasant and provided plenty of help switching my planet fitness from Edison to East Brunswick. Again I am not sure if his name but he is definitely an asset to the company.

New Gym equipment is very nice and spacious but its hard to do any work out you must only work out quietly if you put a dumbbells on the floor and it might make the slightest noise you get warned so i would not recommend this PF to anyone To answer the manager Yes my concern is other PF do not manage their facilities the way you do . Thats why i will never come back

They confiscated my jug of water, worst gym I have ever been to. DO NOT COME HERE. Most unprofessional staff and rules of a gym I have ever been to. It’s not worth the money, go join LA Fitness it’s right down the street and is a million times better

Couldn't wait for this location to open and they did not disappoint!! Updated equipment, great layout and amazing staff!! Morenike, who is actually night manager at the North Brunswick, was there helping open the East Brunswick location. She was so extremely helpful showing me around, explaining new equipment and made me feel extremely welcome! I highly recommend both the East Brunswick and North Brunswick locations!!

Best workout yet. Took inspiration from the surroundings and currently breaking through ten miles on the treadmill. Nicest staff you could ask for!!

Place is just a few years old. Maintenance is poor! Some items remain unusable for long time! Current such examples are chest press, left soap dispenser and the right hair drier in men's dressing room. The showers take a long time for water to get hot, area is unheated/ chilling during fall and winter, lack any hooks for our towels or bags. Reported the following additional issues to the staff on site: - burned out lights at mirror in lockers room - burned out lights in private dressing area by the showers - mount of shower head falls apart in the handicapped shower - handicap shower in use floods the entire area with standing water. All of these problems have been here since about April 2022!!! Lastly, hours were cut from the 7x24, and they remain cut to a 10 p.m. closing. We typically would be using club between 8 and midnight.

My friend and I just had the police threatened to be called on us for having our backpacks. The old man behind the counter is probably a racist and didn't like my friend. O well, it's an easy way to take my buisenss somewhere else. Don't go here worst gym on the planet. I'm canceling my subscription today. Has everything that most people would need to work out. I believe all planet fitness gyms uses machines, meaning don't expect a bench press or a squat rack, which is fine. Only thing I wish they have is a stretch cage. Been going for a few weeks and have no complaints. Staff has been friendly. Hasn't been too crowded. It's a clean and organized gym. Only thing weird is that this location doesn't allow you to pay your monthly fee with a credit card.

There are only 4 weightlifter which they are alway busy with young kids ,and they keep playing with their phones and messages ,but they don,t leave the benches , this is really bad, everyone work 15 to 20 minutes that is good enough for weightlifting ,and give chance to the others , Thanks.

The wifi here has been HOT garbage of late. This needs to be looked at asap.

Transferred over from a Monmouth county PF and I'm quite satisfied. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They are eager to help me with any questions I might have. Facility is very clean and they are constantly keeping up top of things. My only two suggestions would be putting paper towels in the bathroom since it's impossible to dry face after washing. My second suggestion is out of frustration. Treadmills automatically shut of at 30 minutes. Staff has informed me the machines are programmed to do that. Personally I find it frustrating they shut-ff and wish they would reprogram them. Overall this is a very nice facility, that's kept very clean, great hours, with a very helpful, and nice, staff.

I'm rating the Planet Fitness on Route 18 in East Brunswick. It's clean, and the staff is great. My daughter and I recently started going after leading very sedentary lifestyles, and they walked us through how we should approach it, showed us around the gym, and in general have been happy to answer any questions we have. There's one guy who's particularly great - I will find out his name again because he deserves recognition for a job well done.

Nice crew, clean place except for one person. I don't know his name, but he's a black guy with twisted hair, that guy is so rude, disrespectable, unfriendly with members, He also yells at the members and gives a hateful looks to members, never simle and we consider that as a threat, so if he doesn't like his job let him go before we call the police for him and sue the company.

Bad treatment from the employees I had autopay for my account and last week they told me I had a problem with my account than I checked I saw that I paid for July than I went back and they told me I had to change from credit to debit than I told when I go home I will do it because I didn’t have my card on me than she said that I couldn’t workout and told me I had to pay than I asked to speak to the manager than he told me I had to change it to let me in I told him that I had the option to pay credit or debit

Really good gym for the money. I am a bit disappointed that they are no longer 24 Hours ( it was 24 hours when I joined ). There are plenty of machines but the dumbell area is more constricted than other locations that I have been to. It is always clean and the staff is friendly.

Went in and canceled my my gym membership. I changed banked so I paid it up. But from the time I canceled after the tenth you pay another month. but can’t be in the gym. They told me I couldn’t change my payment method and won’t close out my account again and will charge me for another month I’m not allowed to workout there. So two months being charged 20 something dollars and can’t even workout there. I asked Luca some rude dude on the phone which wouldn’t put a manager on phone. Said he doesn’t even have to give me any answers on the phone. For a dude named after a dudes girl. He was a telephone tough guy. It’s a gym you know the manager is just sitting around doing nothing. Terrible management and terrible staff. Very rude I wouldn’t ever recommend this gym.plus everything is broken in there.

The planet fitness in East Brunswick is the worst gym I’ve ever been to we have four memberships with them that we will be canceling. I’ve been to other planet fitness locations and the staff is nothing but friendly and helpful . The staff at East Brunswick is not only rude but they target kids my brother asked the staff a simple question and they threatened to call the police on him . As well as they harassed my dad as well as kicked him out of the gym for owing 10 dollars from two years ago that previously a staff member said he doesn't owe anymore that they would take it off the account as a curtesy. Out of respect my father said that he would pay the next day so it wouldn’t be an issue anymore and they wouldn’t allow it and made him leave the gym. On top of all that my dad asked them several times for the customer service number and they not only refused to give it to him they told him they are not allowed to give it out . They need new management and new staff.

After going to this gym for almost three years there has always been issues at this place; whether it’s the water dispenser that doesn’t work properly, empty paper towel dispensers, the broken machines, as well as the urinals that are out of order, and even the doors that are used to get into the gym😂. What a joke! And some of these issues take weeks to get fixed. Not to mention the cable accessories that are always missing or damaged. The facility is also dirty; dust and grime on the machines constantly and today I found bugs crawling around the floor which was the last straw for me. For a place that always has staff “cleaning” they sure do a bad job at it. And when they do “clean” they always distract you by vacuuming or using their machine right under your feet and sometimes even make you move! I’m not the type of person to write a review or be a Karen but I feel this place deserves it. It’s well worth it to just go down the road to crunch for only $5 a month more.

Worst gym, and I mean not just this location, the entire corporate environment. I warn others to be careful and check their policies before joining. They will allow you to join online, but they do not allow you to cancel online. That is ridiculous. Also, about the club in East Brunswick, the equipment is quite outdated, they do not have enough equipment, and a lot of their equipment has cushions ripped off. I do not recommend it to anyone.

Moved here recently and got a cheap membership. Worked out 4 times a week and thought it was fine. The dumbbell rack needs to get a good wipe down and not everyone cleans up their station, but that's a budget gym for yeah. I always kept my things locked up by the front, just to be safe, and never had anything stolen. Also, some stuff took a while to get fixed, which I didn't particularly mind. A few months later we got a dog and I didn't have time to work out for the foreseeable future. Cancellation was quick and smooth. I hope to return soon!

I belonged to another gym and they were not adhering to the mandated mask policy. I checked out Planet Fitness and I was very pleased with mask wearing. I immediately joined and dropped my other gym membership. This gym is very clean with state of the art machines.

I absolutely love this gym. All of the machines are in perfect condition and the facility is very clean. I left another gym in East Brunswick back in January due the the uncleanliness of that facility. After joining this gym I know I made a great choice. I feel like I have access to more amenities than any gym I have ever been in a contract with for such a great price without any hidden fees. The staff is always friendly and helpful whenever I have spoken to anyone. I am so glad this location has opened back up as I have missed going in for my daily workouts. I highly recommend this gym!

Very clean and not over crowded

It's alright. The machines are awkward as hell to me. Seems like the grip set-up on all of them makes no sense.

Worked out here after 11:00 pm New Years Day. Overheard customer at the counter asking why there were no paper towels in the men's locker room. Worker behind the front counter was on a personal phone call and was annoyed he had to help the customer. He was downright lazy and rude to the customer. Another worker with a cane was cleaning the machines and he came over to assist the customer. Worker with the cane was very helpful but the other guy really should be talked to by management.

I just walked in to the gym today with my coworker and couldn’t be any more disappointed with the GM Kevin. He was extremely rube and it was very disappointing being that I have recommended many people to sign up for the new plant fitness in EB. Me and my friend are both classic members only for the reason that we want to try out the facility before we upgrade. EB PF is my home and Edison PF is my friends home. We understand that there is a $5 fee if you go to a PF that is not your home base. However, being that EB is new and people are going to want to try out the facility before upgrading right away. We wanted to talk with the GM to see if he would allow her to slide being that we just walked over from work with no money on us. Well Kevin comes out and right away try’s to intimidate me and my friend. He tried to make us feel bad for even asking by telling us we shouldn’t go anywhere without bringing money. He stares with absolutely no expression on his face as if he wants to scare off his customers. I told him I’m not recommending anymore People to Join the gym and he right away gave me a face like he didn’t care. I’m sorry but, Kevin is the most unprofessional human being to run any facility. I was suppose to get my first month membership free but that never happened and I told them to not worry about but a Lousy $5 this GM is crying about. His attitude made me not even want to Work out there. Crunch is opening up right down the street I will have to transfer my membership there. I can see if my friend comes everyday asking for a free pass but, this is the very first time. Not very good judgment on his part Rules are rules I get it but, Accommodations can be made to build customer satisfaction and good reviews. He made me feel like I don’t even want to work out anymore at PF that’s all I have to say.

The best place when you just want to go to the gym and train well. Plenty of material, Nobody annoys you while training, everybody is kind... And last but not less important, great music! The only thing i can miss is olimpic bars with free weights... Other than that, great gym.

Not very crowded, plenty of cleaning supplies for the equipment. Saw the great majority of folks wiping down equipment after using it. Enjoyed my first time back to the gym!

Just joined and the blad man who’s old with glasses was very rude. I just joined took me 2 hours to finally join. And he say we have to take the photo. U couldn’t hold off until I actually was ready to go to the gym. 😩😩😩 I joined cause he was so nice when I came with my celebrity friend.

Good gym

On June 30, I had been accused of laughing at a trainer and her clients. I literally just turned around and might have been smiling about something. She went crazy on me for some reason. I didn't do anything that she claimed. There was no need for her to accuse me of laughing at her clients, it was like she wanted to make her clients feel bad. She didn't even apologize for accusing me. I did nothing wrong. I mind my own business and work out and go home. The staff is normally friendly. But Mary the personal trainer is not, she's loud and obnoxious and very unprofessional. I did not want to cancel my membership but I did because I felt judged and very uncomfortable if I had to see her again. I don't recommend going to this gym unless she is let go. Do better Planet Fitness.

Clean nice machines

Never felt better ❤. Its a clean, convenient, friendly place. All the staff are very helpful .. overall great place so far💪👍🦵.

I am so happy I joined and left my old gym. It is so clean and the hours are great. The staff is so friendly. I have been there five minutes before they close and they never make you feel rushed.

I used to go to the Edison PF, I moved to old bridge and changed to east Brunswick and SO glad I did! This PF is so clean, the machines are in good shape and new. The staff is so nice and always cleaning!

I've been coming here for a good number of months now, the facility is always clean, newer machines, nothing is left broken for a long period of time and friendly staff. I enjoy working out here.

Good gym

This location was good pre-covid. However, once they cut their hours, the quality has deteriorated significantly. There is no fathomable reason the gym can’t be open 24 hours, especially since two competitors just up the street (Jersey Strong and Crunch Fitness) have extended hours. The crowds are oftentimes unbearable, and one can spend more time waiting for machines/weights to free up than actually working out. I also don’t appreciate being charged the full monthly price when the gym is only open roughly half the hours.

By far, this Planet Fitness is the nicest facility that I’ve worked out at. Not only is it clean and new, but the staff are all so friendly. I don’t expect anyone to roll out a red carpet for me when I go to workout, however they are attentive enough to refer to me by name (so not expected) and go out of their way to say hello and goodbye. The simple things are what set this place aside! 😁

Club is really clean. staff cleans and users also wipe off the equipment. There are no free weights except dumbbells but it is fine for most people
