I actually liked the service and overall facilities in this Walmart . They have a subway inside . Also a very very good deli. Loved the chicken wings there : really fresh and cheap . They also have a photo center, meat, bakery , pharmacy, ATMs etc etc. Surprisingly customer service was fast . Not much of queues in exit rows. I went on a week day . Not sure how it is on weekends. As always, you get everything in Walmart . Not a big fan of Walmart electronics or dresses. Vegetables were fresh . Lots of parking available. Liked it overall 👍

Super place for all needs at a very reasonable price! Fresh vegetables and fruits are available at the entrance. This place has subway for lunch dinner. Pharmacy and eye wear shop is also present. A nail shop is also present. Thanks for helping in tough times ☺️ Gardening soils, mixing pots, seeds and tools are available now. Few plants have also arrived today however tomato and other vegetables 🥕 plant are yet to come. More garden materials available now check my pics added today😃

Walmart branch at 290 State route 18 E Brunswick, NJ 08816 one of the worst management as you see in the picture no customer service is available all the time. Tried many times to purchase a jewelry from this one s as sways one time says the key is broken!!! Another time the lock is broken however, the clearance tag stated 04/17/2022 I spoke to John a supervisor and said I’ve been waiting for 35 minutes in order someone to help me out he said he was paying someone to help me out but no one responds to him!!!!! Imagine how mess it is manager can’t let the employees do the right work This is unprofessional place I said if anything in the display it’s my right as a customer to purchase It’s unacceptable to inform the customer that a key is lost or the lock is broken that’s very unprofessional and if that’s the case then I suggest the management should be replaced immediately for o e of a biggest Walmart branches . My understanding is any employee is at the customer services And if there is a problem of customer or a Walmart employee then the management role is to go up and down to solve the issue

Update. many prices are better then local shop rite. but its such a pig sty. many things arent marked or labeled or on correct shelf. Emplyees are horrible. Everyone walks around with a cell phone to their ears Employees just dont care. Still a one star. No change other then better checkouts. No one knows what their doing in the store...Update. Nothing changed. No management what so ever. Worse food store. filthy. nothing in on correct shelf or marked correctly. ask for the manager there is none. I shop for items I know can't be bad. Today I witnessed for thirty minutes an employee cart of ice cream to be placed in freezer. It was there for over 30 minutes when I left. who knows how long before. I told bakery. their comment.... not our department. I felt some of the half gallons and it was close to liquid. Sadly it will be stocked in freezers. see picture.

Convenient location. Wide selection. I prefer going to the Supercenters as they are a one stop shop. This one has a pretty decent layout and at the time of my visit was very clean. I was able to navigate through the isles with ease and no obstructions which normally plagues you at other locations. As always you can’t beat the prices.

I recently had very bad experience at this Supercenter, East Brunswick. Shopped for an item in store and then found item was way cheaper at walmart.com. When I showed this price at register they said price is only for walmart.com and not in store. As per policy this is not true. I have done this price match multple times in other walmart's. Assoicate will scan and check online price and then adjust our price. I even called store rep and he said there is no way to price match with walmart.com. When I started to record him he ran away :) I asked him if you are brave then say it on camera.. This guys were so crazy and literally think they work for free service. They should be properly trained and governed.

This store is seeking new lows, even for Walmart. Talking to someone that works there is met with the attitude 'What do want me to do about it?' ..I want store associates to help? Today was my third visit in a row that this has happened. I can't buy locked away products if I can't expect that help. And I can't expect help from management because they didn't help the second time this happened. Crazy. But today someone was rolling around on one of the carts begging for money, and not only is that obnoxious, it's illegal. So when I saw 3 associates in the next isle, I didn't expect to hear "What do you want me to do about it? Kick him out? He's here all the time" Because no one at this store cares untill your checking out. Then they stand over you and want to search your bags. This store is trash

Great store definitely a family atmosphere,I seem to find everything I need with good pricing.A very clean store and helpful staff .my only downside is less cashier's and more self checkout...other than that I pick my time appropriately, to make sure a smooth in and out.

Employees and Manager needs PROPER customer service training! They are rude with nasty comments about customers voicing out concerns about pick-ups. No notice at the door, the app, or the order receipt that the store which is supposedly close at 11pm closed their customer service counter, and pick-up at 10pm! Walmart please look at this store…it use to be so much better but now becoming ghetto with employees who does not know how to properly talk to customers!

I always find what I need and normally at a very good price. The reason I come back though is for the staff. Every store I have been to has a smiling, helpful people that are willing to go out of their way for you. Go Team Walmart

I don't understand how you guys have a customer pickup in your building and when we get a message saying that our items are ready when we go to the store to pick them up we're still waiting for them to bring us our stuff and there's a line? If the company tells us our stuff is ready to be picked up I expect it to be picked up not have to wait for it more the whole point is to have it done conveniently

I had a lovely time and received excellent assistance from Belle in the crafting department today! She helped me find the dowels, ribbon and fabric I needed for my wedding crafts and was very positive and caring about my needs. Give this girl a raise!

Shopped and worked here years ago - thought I had a review posted already but ok - understaffing and making 1 guy do the work of 3 is normal here and I see from more recent reviews little has changed. The rare times I needed anything other then food I was better off finding it myself. The store manager was abusive and had no idea how to talk to people. The entire store would breathe a sigh of relief when she'd go on leave or vacation. I have more but I'll end with this question - how does this store have over 4 stars rating on Google when I see a flood of negative reviews no matter how far I scroll down?

0 stars! 3rd time I picked up my online groceries to come home and find out all the meat was expired! This one was picked up 8/1 and expired 7/18.

Out of the four Walmart locations in my area this one in route 18 is by far the best. There is always an associate In Their respective departments to Answer questions and give assistance and the shelves are always stocked neatly.. This review in particular goes to the “Bakery” department that did and OUTSTANDING job preparing my son’s pull apart birthday cake for his birthday today. I came in last Sunday to place the order and I had a some reservations about ordering a custom cake because well it’s Walmart. The lady who filled my order was very patient and thorough in her explanation of the cake ingredients and decorations they could accommodate. So when I went to pick up my son’s Spider-Man themed cake today I was flabbergasted to say the least. It was not at all what I had imagined , it was 3 times better !!! While the name of my baking associate does escape me I would like to thank all In that department that had a hand in seeing my vision through to reality. My son loved the cake and intricate designs of the spiderweb and other accessories included….No cake topper needed !!

Came here for my store pick up order. Got a confirmation that it was ready at 745pm. Went to the pickup section around 8pm. Had to wait a whole hour. What's the point of pick up in store when you have to still wait. There were many cars that came after me and got their orders. I tried calling but no one answers. I must've called like 10 times. No apology. No nothing. And my order was wrong when I finally got it. Never again. Walmart do better

We had a family get together in NJ and pit stopped here on the way home. It was about 8pm on a Saturday. It was quiet, clean and we got what was needed. Can't ask for much more.

This one is just ok. The shelves & where merchandise is put in relation to prices is a bit messy and disorganized. I'll only get select types of produce here, because pretty much every single time I've checked the berries were moldy. Overall, pretty okay at keeping things in stock. I'll still go here because it's the closest Walmart, but I've seen better.

I have no idea what happened to their curbside pickup at this location. They used to be so fast, I would place entire grocery orders and they would bring it out within minutes of my arrival. Just recently placed a small order for 3 items and had to wait 25 minutes and call twice to get them to come out, and on top of that I was the only one waiting, not like there was 10 people ahead of me. Very disappointed. Also I want to note I would have just bought the item in store, but the item was cheaper to purchase online and the store refused to price match their own online price, worst policy ever, such a shame.

One of the best Walmart center in the town. Very clean and neat. Everything is arranged nicely & you don't have to run around to search for anything. Friendly & helpful staff. Pharmacy is good. Bakery products are always fresh & tasty and so is the grilled chicken. Returning any item is also easy. Always happy to shop here!

Found everything we were looking for with ease. And more importantly, along with the self check lines, there were clerks at several registers to ring up the customers products. I wish the Walmart near me would have personal at the registers.

I come to this Walmart a lot. There is always a new collection of great clothes for all ages. They have a ton of great new school supplies that families would love to stock up on now. They have some sales in summer stuff that are left over, a great time to get Stuff you wanted or need for next season. Update: The winter stuff is now in, and they have some great stuff as they are stocking up the shelves. Winter snow glives or hat and glove sets go for about 10$ each plus tax. If you needed anything. I would go now because I believe they sell out quick on the good stuff.

Nice update with a Directory and always seem to have the best bakery items. You find hidden gems like Muffin tops or Conchas. I had been coming here for years in this area before it became a Walmart. It used to be a Flea Market.

They remodeled the interior this past year. It looks cleaner and brighter. Most items are easy to find. Almost all cash registers are now the self checkout, which may have been a bit of a learning curve for some.

I used to shop here every other week for groceries and was never disappointed. Happened to stop there last night and was SO taken aback by what I saw. THE WHOLE PRODUCE SECTION WAS EMPTY AND SO MANY THINGS WERE ROTTEN. They barely had product on the shelves... they lock so many things up (I can't for the life of me imagine why they would have to lock energy drinks up... don't they have a loss prevention?) It's all just very bad and I was pretty disappointed. The rest of the store wasn't horrible but the rotting food... no. That's gross. I will never buy food here. I'll stick with ShopRite 🤷

Huge selection of everything. I went in for some specific items that I could not find at a store closer to me where I usually shop. Very clean and organized. I was able to find what I needed with the app. Very pleasant experience. I will definitely go back.

The store is okay nothing special, Walmart has a lot of good things like pretty much everything you might need, however the produce is not good, the most of it isn’t fresh and the prices aren’t the cheapest for such. A plus is that you can find halal chicken (crescent) but not a lot of variety. Customer service is always good and the guy at the gate is the best.
