Pleased stay. Clean room, friendly staff. I am so happy there is microwave and a fridge in the room! There is a swimming pool with water slides for kids which is cool. Gym is small with two treadmills but almost no one was using during my stay. Right beside of Speedway gas station which is convenient. Complimentary breakfast is just as expected (not too surprising considering the cost) but when I stay there for multiple days every day the food was different. Really pleasant trip I will choose to stay here again next time.

We stayed in room 427 at the the very end of the hall. Anyways under the dresser were large pieces of moldy chicken ( probably wouldn't have noticed if my little guy didn't drop his bottle under it). Also there were 4 families including mine who left the pool coughing, and puking. The chlorine levels are way to high, and I do plan to have that looked into further. I highly do NOT recommend this place!

The king suite that we stayed in looked like it had not been cleaned specifically in regard to the shower. The previous guests' hair was stuck to the wall of the shower. Also concerning was how plugged up both the shower and bathroom sink drains were in the room. Water began to pool as soon as the faucet was turned on. The bathroom fan did not work either. On the positive side, though, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and it was plenty of space to house my family for the weekend. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Booked online months in advance because we wanted a room with a kitchenette. We hauled all of our luggage to the room and then back to the front desk after discovering they gave us a regular room. We were then told the kitchenette room was not available anymore so we settled for the downgraded room out of necessity but we were billed a higher rate! Tried to talk to management but were told they weren't there any of the days of our stay. Front desk staff was less than sympathetic. Guests are allowed to smoke within feet of the doorway next to the "thank you for not smoking sign" and "interesting characters" consistently hung out there. If you are sensitive to odors or traveling as a solo woman, I suggest you book elsewhere. Also, the pool area is very run down and there is dog pee on a lot of the hallway carpets. Photos online make it look way nicer than it actually is.

The hotel itself is nice very clean. Just do yourself a favor and never stay there if there is any youth sports staying at the hotel at the same time. Completely disrespectful for anyone staying at the hotel. The staff tried to shut things down at certain times, but no respect for others. .

I came from Florida to stay for one week. The hotel is amazing. The staff are friendly and so professional. It has lots of amenities. The rooms are amazing and the hotel is so calm. I will come back again if i visit Minneapolis again.

We did a little weekend getaway with the grandkids who really wanted to go to a water park. This was a great economical way to do it. They had a nice breakfast area with French toast, make your own waffles, plenty of fruit yogurt, and other things to enjoy the morning that we checked out kids had a great time!

The USA Cup was being held about 10 minutes away so information about pricing was being passed around. I called the next day and although the rooms were the same, the price was $40 more. There was no group rate set-up. Also, to get the “discounted” rate, you needed to sign-up for their reward program. It saves you about $30. The exterior and check-in area is very nice. They even have bikes you can use! The staff was polite. As soon as you walk to the elevators, that’s where the issues begin. The carpets were horrendous with stains that you question. The smell was not pleasant. My kid described it as shrimp, but it definitely wasn’t food. The elevator had wrappers and seed shells. We had a late check-in but it was still there the next day (7 hours later). We were hoping the smell would be better once we got off the 3rd floor or even in the room but that wasn’t the case. It smelled like wet dog. There seems to be some missed opportunities for the room set-up, but it has the standard hotel stuff without a couch. The bathroom is small with hair on the walls. The vent didn’t work. The remote was sticky. Yes, I am that person who checks for beg bugs. I didn’t find any, but there were stains, crumbs, hair, and gosh knows what else on the box spring. The bedding appeared to be clean, but must be heavily washed in bleach. I could smell it while attempting to sleep. My skin actually felt itchy and started to get hives. I normally don’t have issues at the hotels, but do have sensitive skin. I wore a light jacket to avoid contact. I didn’t get much sleep at all but left the hotel with a sore throat. Maybe it was from the lack of sleep or maybe the mold or whatever else is brewing in that room/building. Breakfast was acceptable. Lots of options. Several kids tried to make waffles (large and mini), but the middle wasn’t cooked all the way. The outside was definitely done. No eggs or other protein with the biscuits and sausage gravy. Still there were other choices. To sum up, you just get a dirty vibe. It’s a good place in a crunch, but definitely would recommend checking out another place for $186.

This is a fun place for a family to stay mainly for the water slide in the pool area. I did think the pool area was a little bigger and wish it was because it is very busy and we couldn’t really enjoy it till the day we were checking out but it’s manageable if you are patient! The water slide was obviously a lot of fun that you don’t get in a lot of hotels. The rooms were nice and clean. I called the day prior to request early check in (says that’s available on the website) but when I called the person who assisted me was very short and said it wasn’t really an option and to call ahead of time to see if rooms was ready. All minor things but just a heads up! Would recommend for families especially!

Pros; Bed was decent, room with kitchenette was typical sized for what we usually get and shower has good water pressure with plenty of hot water. Cons; Small bathtub, breakfast had no eggs, front desk not attentive during the evenings. Platinum member status is not acknowledged in any way, shape, or form. Hoping since they are newer to Choice Privileges, upgrades and training of expected Choices Privileges standards will be coming. :)

A good three-star hotel. Polite staff. Had two nights, expecting to swim in the pool but were surprised that the pool was closed on Sunday. After leaving the hotel - saw that additional charge were taken from the credit card - sent an e-mail with a request to explain why the additional funds were taken - did not receive an answer.

It was close to everything we wanted to do. The staff was very friendly. Very odd they had no alarm clock. Nice to know what time it is in the middle of the night. The greatest thing is the rooms are totally sound proff, very nice

Was good overall. Only reason I wouldn’t give it a five star was due to rooms overbooked so instead of getting my reserved room(a suite) they only gave me a regular room. They did give me a discount for inconvenience but still, I chose what I wanted well in advanced so I’m not sure how it was prioritized… Breakfast was not as good, not much hot food choices (pancakes, french toast, oatmeal, and sausage only) and waited a good 5-10 minutes for refill on food. Still free Breakfast but would have been nice to not have to wait around for refills to happen.

Room was excellent. Comfortable bed and with the AC the temperature was kept in a good range. I had the biscuits and gravy one day for breakfast and that also was really good. The only 2 criticisms I could give is that the AC was kinda loud so I often had to turn it off overnight and that there was no service over stay. This was posted on a sign, but I did not know this when booking. Staying for 5 nights it would have been nice to see at least one service, but ultimately it was not that big of a deal. The room was stocked well enough and I could always top up on coffee/tea fixings for the in-room keurig.

I was honestly very disappointed in my stay here. The room's blackout curtains only went 1/3 of the way across the window, that faced the parking lot and the busy highway! Light was shining into my room all night, which made it difficult to sleep. It also took 4 tries to get someone to come fix my toilet that was not flushing.

Just a few minutes north of Mpls/St.Paul. Business trip for me and near my appointments. Rooms were clean and breakfast was decent. What I was expecting from a Country Inn. Front desk was courteous and helpful.

Not sure if front desk knows there is a leash free dog park within a mile from Country Inn & Suites. My dog and I enjoyed our stay here and will again when we return.

The lobby is nice, everything is clean. Bed was comfy. Maintenance was good. Hot breakfast and pool good. I gave it three stars because the bathroom was so small you can't even close the door while you're sitting on the toilet. The depth of the bathroom is the width of the tub. Should be just a shower if that's all the space they had. Also explains why their website shows no bathroom pics. None. If you don't mind that, you will like the room.

Worst experience ever with the staff. We had a little girl's birthday gathering in a double queen size suite for my granddaughter. When we checked in, there was a sign placed at the front desk, "$300 charge added to room rate for parties". There was nothing on their website and we didn't sign anything acknowledging this. Our first thought was, what are we supposed to do, cancel the party?! My daughter and I made sure that the room was SPOTLESS when we checked out. During our stay, there were a couple of other parties happening. Those kids were running around unaccompanied by an adult, while they were smearing frosting in the elevators, rough housing in the pool area and causing a commotion. I can only imagine what their room looked like! Country Suites took it upon themselves charging $300 on my credit card without my permission! My daughter and I have tried multiple times contacting a manager. Either there's no answer or no return call. I cannot believe they run a business like this! How do they think that they can add an additional $300 charge to my credit card??! Either they credit me the $300 or I'm suing for damages. By the way, i called 3 other hotels im the area, and they DO NOT charge extra for parties.

I asked the hotel staff to turn on the slide for us and after she did, she saw my special needs kid by the opening of the slide and she tried to yell at him to get away from the slide opening. My son is non communicative I told her. She then proceeded to tell me that if he plays around the mouth of the slide (which he hasn’t) that she would kick us out. I’ve stay here at this country inn every time my kids are off school and never have I been treated so rudely! This pool is where kids come to swim and have fun. I will never stay at this place again!

Extremely overpriced room. The carpets were stained and dirty. The fitness machine was broken in the fitness room My car was hit and run in the parking lot during the night. The clerk was helpful about the incident.

Stayed here for a softball tournament that was just down the street. Decent size pool with a water slide. Small bathroom in the room. Worst part was we had bedding that was blood stained. Management apologized and comped us a night but I think we will avoid this chain going forward.

The only hiccup was when I returned back to the hotel my key didn't work, went back down to the front desk and she fixed it right away. Otherwise it was really good. Rooms were nice and roomy..

We slept ok, the room was ok, our key cards worked, parking was fine. We checked in and after arriving in our room we were sent a text at 5:21, thanking us for being a member, and asking us to reply when settled if there was anything they could do for us. At 8pm, I replied, thanking them for their text and asking if by chance they had toothpaste as I we had forgotten ours. At 8:06 I received an automated response I assumed as it apologized for the delay and said they would get back to us shortly. They never responded. Our toilet was noisey, it squeaked when refilling and the second time we used it it plugged up. We then dressed for our evening plans and figured we'd ask again about toothpaste when we left and advise them of the toilet so that while we were gone they could fix it. The guy at the desk offered us a plunger. I've never had to plunge my own toilet at a hotel, but whatever.. I was not doing it before our even so I told him we'd grab it later that evening. I then casually asked about toothpaste and he immediately asked if I'd checked their connected little store, which I hadn't. Even he didn't know if the store had toothpaste. Again, not an emergency so, tabled for the end of the night. That night we returned, A new girl Anne, was at the front desk. I asked her: Does your hotel not have a maintenance person? Our toilet was plugged and the guy earlier offered me a plunger. She was appalled, and sad as her maintenance person had just left for the night. She did give us a few sample toothpastes and we took the plunger up to our room. We will not return to this country inn and suites.

We happily got married and when we got to the hotel it wasn't until 10ish pm at night on our Wedding day. When we walked in there were pop can stains on the counters, sticky stains, trash from other people before us underthe couch, and worse of all there was a nasty stain on the top blanket. Other than the lack of cleanliness the friendliness of country inn is wonderful and warming. We were so tired and kept going in and out of the room between our house, celebrating, and then back to the hotel so we weren't in the room all too long. I would've said something the first night or the next morning when we first came but I was just so worn out from the wedding I didn't wish to complain. Otherwise it was a decent room. I just wish it wasn't so dirty because out of all moments I wish it didn't happen to us on our special night.

Hotel is nice and pool is nice and breakfast is awesome here, This hotel only got 2 stars because of the pool and breakfast! But stayed here back in Jan for the ice castles and the front desk group are unbearable and rude, simply asking about a room rate that was promised to my girlfriend was too much. Than her family stays here because they had a fire at there house and just because they asked for towels and the room to be cleaned they get kicked out! I understand the whole Covid thing but seriously that has been over for a while now and it doesn’t give you the right to be rude and threaten to call the cops! I won’t stay here again nor will anyone I know plus my girlfriends family will probably tell everyone not to stay here til a change is made at the desk. When will hotels go back to being corporate ran? Cause that’s the only way it needs to be this independent owners don’t care about the people staying at there hotels nor do they care about the service there team is providing!

Rooms were nice. The pool area was okay slid was leaking and didn't seem all that great and it has that rock stuff that hurts ur feet when you walk on it. Seems really nice other wise. It seemed like it was missing something to make it a bit better but all around a nice place
