Beautiful reserve! There is a decent size hill that has a trail that goes to its highest point and trails that go around the bottom of the hill. Also trails that go through the prairie grass and beside The Little Miami River that is very scenic. Parking is more than adequate. There is a portable restroom and a picnic table. There isn't a playground.

Been doing some winter hiking here with my best pal and have found this place a gem. There are what I would describe as two prairie type trails which connect, the east side traveling along the Little Miami River. There is a trail which travels through the hilly wooded area which can also connect with the other trails. I would love to recommend this place but fear it will attract people!! 😀

This nature reserve was huge and very popular. 5 different trails, all of which were easy to follow and well marked. The black, yellow and green trails are in mostly open field where there is no shade whatsoever, so I would not recommend hiking these in the dead of summer. The other two trails are in the woods with some inclines and declines. I would have to assume there will be tons of summer and fall wildflowers at this reserve. I saw Tons of different species of birds (even at this time of year). Saw a few butterflies which I am sure will grow in numbers once the wildflowers come in. I also discovered a few new tree specimens that I’ve not seen before. I will absolutely be coming back here in the summer. I don’t recall any bathroom facilities/portapotties in the area. Great for walking, hiking or stroll with the kids. Nature preserves Parks Hiking Trails

It is a lovely place to walk during all seasons. You can hike up into the wooded hill or walk by the stream. There is all kinds of nature to look at and appreciate.

During July the wildflowers are amazing here. The paths through the prairie and along the Little Miami river are well maintained. The parking lot is nice, but there is not much else there. Go for the nature. We went back in the Spring and it has its own kind of beauty. There were many small wildflowers in the wooded area and the grass in the fields was a striking reddish brown color. The paths are wide so you feel safe walking during this time of COVID-19. Update for July 2020...not many wild flowers this year compared to last year. However, still a nice place to visit; the path near the woods is mowed, but some of the ones across the field have not been mowed.

A great local park! We stopped by at the end of the super bloom and it was amazing to see all the wildflowers in bloom. There are several trails through the prairie, woods and along the river. The path through the woods does have an incline which is good if you are looking for some exercise. The parking lot is nice too. A nice break and chance to get outdoors.

Trails are very good. Hiking towards the top of the preserve, the trails have several areas where fell trees cover the path. Also on the switch backs trails are not that clear. Very few people hiking towards the upper trails more people seem to prefer the trails towards the bottom of near the entrance. Great preserve to hike.

The place is good. I think the trails could be better labeled so a first timer like myself wouldn’t keep wondering if i am getting lost in the woods. It’s not a comfortable feeling I will tell you that! I had been to other parks where the trails are well labeled, and that makes a big difference on how I feel. My feeling is important! But to their defense, all 4 trails are relatively straightforward and you will always end up at where you start. I ran into 2 deers who kept staring at me, to a point it was almost creepy. I kept wondering if they were going to start charging towards me. I am glad they didn’t because i certainly didn’t want to be the first person who got killed by deers in city of Bellbrook. Maybe i am not the first? Who knows

We arrived on a beautiful sunny day and decided to walk the grass path you see right as you pull in. The trail was a little over a mile and took you through the prairie and forest next to the river. The woods were full of beautiful wildflowers and it wasn’t busy at all. I could see how on a busy day it may be difficult to find some parking. Overall great experience and nice views.

Trails were great and walked them several different times yet today after walking there we found over 20 ticks on our dog (two more on my wife). Stayed on paths entire time.

Nice place for a walk, run, or hike through the woods. There are a couple of steep hills to climb so just be prepared. All kinds of wild life, great examples of fungus, flowers and everything else that grows in the area.
