I was honestly excited trying this place and heart broken when I did. I wouldn’t call this authentic at all. The fried chicken was double fried and cold. Meaning they fried it once then dropped it back in the hot oil to warm it up. The ramen I had (Red Dragon) the noodles were underdone. The broth was separating with a thick layer of oil on top. We left and went across the street to the Mexican restaurant. Bottom line place isn’t worth the price.

Service was quick as expected at a ramen location. Fukuryu has the feel of a chain/fast food style ramen shop. The way the ingredients for the ramen were prepared left the final dish being lacking. My pork belly was room temperature if not cold, while served in its hot ramen broth. It was not the only ingredient that felt like it was randomly pulled from the fridge and thrown in a hot bowl of soup. This led to a dining experience that was uncomfortable to finish eating.

My first time at this place was amazing kinda busy, but what do you expect for good ramen ? The same guy to take my order and deliver to the table was sooo nice he had a bandanna like on and I told him how good it was he was great and friendly. It was my first time here but not my last they made me feel like I been here before! It’s at a busy part of town with street parking or down the street garage parking. They accommodated to my pork broth and chicken instead of pork belly and a ginger lemonade to wash it down. Paid $42 for everything plus some add ons. Definitely should try it out 😁

This is by far one of the best ramen places I have tried since moving from Chicago. The quality of the broth was very close to how the made it in Japan. I got to check out a place in Fukuoka, Japan. Fukuryo Ramen really has good environment and the quality of the ingredients are highly recommended for anyone to try! My take - best ramen in Ohio that I have tried so far!

Great Ramen… I especially enjoy the spicy dragon ramen with chicken (spicy level 2). But wear your glasses. Get one drop of Dragon Sauce from an errantly wielded noodle in your eye, and you’ll wish you hadn’t !!!

Great ramen & fast service! The staff was helpful in making suggestions. I had the Red Dragon ramen with chicken and hibiscus tea - was just the right amount of spice and heat without overwhelming the flavor. Would definitely go there again.

We have been to Fukuryu at other location since day one and have not yet to be disappointed. The broth here has been inconsistent. Sometimes it’s just salted water and other time tastes like canned chicken broth. We keep trying to give this another try out of convenience and my last time order confirms my decision of not coming/ordering from here anymore.

This was easily the spiciest ramen I’ve ever had and it comes hotter, which is wild! I had the veggie one with spice at a 4. I literally couldn’t drink the broth and had to get a popsicle! I wasn’t a big fan of the noodles, the texture was a bit idk stiff? Otherwise, no complaints!

First time here, new to ramen restaurants. We were not impressed. I asked for a recommendation between two dishes, and neither girl at the register could give me any insight. Then I asked questions about the different beer/saki choices, and again, zero information from either person. Next, I ordered the chicken ramen with the panko crusted chicken which does NOT come in the bowl, but is brought out separately. This wouldn't have been a big deal except that it took an additional 15 minutes to bring the chicken out because they forgot about it. By that time we had nearly finished everything else. As expensive as their dishes are, we were very disappointed with the quality and service. Will have to try other ramen places around town to compare.

Miso Chicken Ramen was soo good!! Seaweed was amazing. The bao bun was the bomb! So glad I had the real thing.

Good food, quick preparation of food following order. They will bring out the individual entrees as they are ready. Cocktails are also very tasty

Super spicy! It’s an exuberant take on ramen. Red dragon comes with hk egg noodles, egg drop soup mixed with a tonkatsu miso base. A three level spice was extra extra spicy.

I went to the upper Arlington location for lunch right when they opened for my first time the food was excellent l went to the Dublin location the same day and my noodles were cold no steam and they forgot my happy hour drinks and the soup wasn't as flavorful as the ua location but the food was still good

It’s ok. We went here on a Friday night it was packed and they were busy. the problem was my food came out cold like it was sitting there for a long time and server forgot to serve my food on time. I had the Pork Belly, there was barely even meat in it was more on rice and onions than meat. The Bao was pretty good and Takoyaki overall experience is ok.

Great: The takoyaki, scallion pancakes, and dumplings appetizers were very good. The different ramen options were amazing. Also, very affordable for the quality and Santa came to visit! Good: Had to wait and there is limited seating space. Bad: they didn't have any hot green tea available when I went, which I thought was odd.

This is a really good place to eat ramen. I got the tonkatsu ramen add panko chicken that stays crunchy when soaked in the broth. Also the shoyu ramen is so clear and good. Also got the pork buns and chicken gyoza were very good as well.

Fortunately I will give this place a star for the service service was great, other than that I think the best thing that I had was the fried chicken everything else was honestly mediocre and I’m trying to be as nice as I could be when I say all of this I’ve known many Japanese chefs worked with a lot of them in my day, I have a couple Japanese best friends Who run a couple different Ramen shop. Me and my family are not even from here and we were super excited to try it just to be severely disappointment I didn’t even finish half of my food and I ordered a lot other than the fried chicken the other best thing that I had there which is another appetizer it was the pork belly and rice. Me as a business owner and chef owner I am severely disappointed and I am sorry to say so. Ramen tasted generic almost as if it was a soup powder mix and soft boiled egg seemed premise and old not fresh. I could go on, but great staff very attentive and nice spot.

Ok. To be honest, this was a 4.5, but since I can’t choose that I have to give it a 5 since it’s better than my 4 rated places. Cool vibe, the Tonkoktsu Ramen is nearly perfect when you add the chili paste. We sat in front of the kitchen and saw some excellent work. Everything looked good and we’re excited to try additional items. We live too far for delivery, otherwise this would be a staple. Pro Tip: ask for a sample of the on tap MaiTai cocktail. It’s strong but Goood!
