5
teams
&
their
families
from
my
son's
soccer
club
stayed
at
this
hotel
while
we
were
in
town
for
a
tournament.
Our
rooms
were
filthy
with
mirrors
that
looked
like
they
were
sneezed
on,
stains
on
our
comforters,
dirty
bathroom
floor,
sticky
counters,
and
food
stuck
on
and
in
the
mini
refrigerator.
The
emergency
exit
door
leading
to
the
stairs
on
the
3rd
floor
was
broken
so
that
you
couldn't
open
it
all
the
way
(safety
issue)!
I
asked
the
front
desk
for
extra
linens
and
pillows
to
put
on
the
pull
out
sofa
bed
for
my
son.
The
very
rude
front
desk
employee
handed
me
a
pile
of
sheets
and
a
rough
blanket
that
were
suspiciously
just
sitting
on
a
chair
next
to
the
front
desk
and
she
harshly
informed
me
there
were
no
more
pillows
available.
When
I
unfolded
the
sheets
to
make
up
my
son's
bed,
I
found
the
sheets
were
disgusting
and
covered
in
stains.
The
same
rude
front
desk
employee
yelled
at
and
pulled
aside
my
11
year
old
son
and
a
group
of
his
teammates
within
5
minutes
of
us
arriving
at
the
hotel
to
lecture
them
about
"running
around
and
being
noisy."
She
demanded
each
boy
give
her
their
room
number
and
last
name.
When
one
of
the
boy's
mom
stepped
in
and
asked
what
the
issue
was,
the
front
desk
worker
started
yelling
at
the
mom.
Also,
prior
to
our
weekend
stay
I
called
the
hotel
and
asked
if
there
was
a
small
conference
available
for
us
to
use
on
Saturday
to
set
up
food
for
a
team
dinner.
It
took
four
separate
phone
calls
and
speaking
to
numerous
people
including
the
owner
(who
offered
me
a
conference
room
for
$600!)
before
I
was
able
to
speak
to
the
manager,
Brenda.
Brenda
was
helpful
and
polite
but
it
still
cost
us
$100
to
rent
a
room
with
3
tables
from
6pm-9pm.
Furthermore,
an
employee
called
me
the
day
that
we
were
arriving
at
the
hotel
to
ask
again
when
we
needed
the
room
because
they
were
trying
to
sell
it
out
from
under
us
to
someone
else!
I
had
to
repeat
myself
multiple
times
that
I
wanted
the
room
FOR
DINNER,
because
they
kept
asking
if
I
wanted
it
for
lunch,
as
if
to
talk
me
out
of
my
plans.
She
finally
ended
the
phone
call
with
"okay,
I
guess
I
will
tell
the
other
people
that
the
room
isn't
available."
Um...
thank
you?
At
other
hotels
that
our
team
has
stayed
at,
they
allowed
us
to
use
a
small
room
for
free
since
we
were
staying
there.
Also,
when
we
booked
rooms
under
the
block
of
rooms
for
our
soccer
club,
it
stated
in
the
E-mail
that
our
breakfast
would
be
complimentary
(usually
they
charge
you
for
the
tiny
continental
breakfast).
When
everyone
checked
out
they
were
told
they
would
just
get
an
e-mailed
receipt.
It
wasn't
until
later
that
everyone
realized
they
were
charged
for
breakfast.
One
of
the
soccer
parents
had
to
pull
up
her
E-mail
and
show
it
to
the
front
desk
worker
to
prove
breakfast
should
have
been
free
because
they
refused
to
believe
her.
The
manager
Brenda
was
nice,
the
bartender
was
so
kind
and
tolerant
of
our
rowdy
boys
bellying
up
to
the
bar
and
ordering
Shirley
Temples,
and
the
young
gentleman
who
was
a
front
desk
worker
was
great
and
friendly
with
the
kids.
However,
the
rest
of
the
staff
including
the
owner
just
seemed
unaccommodating
of
the
fact
that
their
hotel
was
host
to
a
bunch
of
energetic
yet
well
behaved
soccer
players.
They
wanted
to
nickel
and
dime
us
for
a
subpar
hotel.
This
was
NOT
a
Hilton
quality
hotel.
