My wife said I couldn't give it a five star I had to give it a four-star because it needed a restaurant That's the only thing it needed bathrooms are impeccable, has shower in it very nice people there are great. But what my wife doesn't know doesn't hurt.

Absolutely the best place to get a slip for your sailboat. A friendly camaraderie exists between you & your fellow sailors even on race day. They have great accommodations with a new updated bathhouse with showers & sheltered picnic tables over looking the a gorgeous view of the lake.

It was nice to visit a place from my early years in Indiana. Nothing like a trip down memory lane and skinny dipping with your bff's. Thank you Lake Monroe for the greatest memories and new adventures. Really impressed with all the improvements since 11 Years ago, when I was last there. Just wow, what a amazing weekend!!! Thanks

Rental boats good but show where from use. A lot of service at the doc. Would be nice if they had carts available to carry gear from your car to boat doc and back. A cooler on wheels is highly recommended. A little pricey on boat rentals.

We are sailors, new to the area, and are exploring various places/sailing clubs to join. Yesterday we visited LMSA and found Rita (manager) and Walt (instructor), both of whom were very generous with their time and explanations. The facilities are strictly for sailboats, with a lot of member-volunteer work. I expect that we will join soon.

Just found this jewel. Power boated on this lake over 30 years, decided to start sailing. Brought our hobie down with hopes of some friendly advice. We were so impressed with the staff, other instructors and the grounds, we quickly decided to join the club. Nice place!

LMSA is on of the region's best kept secrets, a beautiful park like setting with multiple picnic shelters and a small playground for kids. The sailing instruction program is both US Sailing and ASA certified; both of my kids have gone through the youth sailing camp, which teaches safety and confidence on the water. Additionally, the membership is active and friendly, ranging from expert blue water sailors to families owning their first sailboat.
