what a gem! Husband and I had a wonderful brunch today. despite a line of folks waiting to be sat we were at a table within 10-15 min. Hostess and waitress were friendly and food was fantastic. lots of healthy and decadent choices. fruit on french toast was fresh and bacon is next level. Clean and open seating with music at a low volume so folks can speak easily. this was our first time but wont be the last.

Service, service, service. This is one of several First Watch establishments I’ve been to across several states. The food was quality yet I have experienced better execution and service at the other First Watches I’ve visited. It took 1 1/2 hours to be seated and receive our food. The management fixed the issues we experienced with our orders. We waited extended times periodically for the server to visit our table.

I was greeted upon waking in, seated a minute later and order taken promptly. Food was good and portions were great.

This was my 1st experience at First Watch. The food was amazing. The atmosphere is also great. The lack of customer service and the looks on the faces of the staff was just not what I expected. So save yourself the trouble if you want to try the food order online and not experience the lack of customer service!

Enjoyed my first time there. Wasn't aware that I could get "on the list" prior to my arrival so that resulted in an hour long wait for a table. Our server was great. The food was tasty; however, the carrot cake Pecan multi grain pancake would've been better WITHOUT the raisins.

Waited an hour for a table but I was excited to try since I heard great things but it was definitely not worth the wait. Portions were small, nothing compared to the pictures online. Sweet potatoes were cold. Arugula was old and avocado was brown. I do not recommend this place at all and I will definitely not be returning. Edit: My concerns were heard and management reached out to make it known that they appreciated my honest feedback. I am very happy that this company cares about their customers!

Had a great vday breakfast here! Did was amazing! I ate every bite! And the purple haze was a must try!

The food was absolutely delicious!! You must get one of the skillet dishes. I love how everything is made fresh and very unique. The juices in particular were very good! I’m definitely going back soon!

I can recommend this place to people looking for breakfast/brunch. Clean, good food , and decent service. However, I would advise to get a reservation on weekends. It is likely you will have to wait at least 10-15 min after you have made reservation on weekends. I tried pancakes,( chocolate, blueberry) ; they were good. French toast was okay, tomato soup was good. Washrooms were clean. My thoughts about tipping options: I found it odd that the least tipping option they had on screen was 20%, I tip above 20% when the service is extraordinary which was not the case; service was okay.

Pretty good place for breakfast, brunch, and lunch! The Elevated Egg Sandwich was delicious and their juices were good too. The atmosphere was nice too, but it was a little noisy. Service was also pretty good, but nothing amazing. A solid 4/5 star restaurant that I would probably go to again.

Some of the most welcoming and open to all service I have ever had, from everyone from the host to the server. Little details made the quality in my meal. Syrup bottle came out hit and warm to pour. Chicken sausage had fresh herbs in it. When I asked for no ice in my water they considerately brought my kale juice out with no ice and a separate cup of ice so I could choose how I wanted. Seasonal specials were delicious and creative while there is a lot I want to try off the main menu. They sell their own cookbook as well.

Food here was great. The special cinnamon roll was AMAZING and worth the possible diabetes. The ricotta pancakes were enormous and the lemon curd and fresh strawberries took it over the top. Only issue was the wait was almost double what we were told when we put our names on the list and they do not do reservations. The server was nice but seemed to be rushing us out, likely because there were others waiting, because again no reservations. I would absolutely return despite the having to wait. The food was worth it!

My husband and I had a great time at First Watch in Bowie, MD. The food was on point, the staff were very friendly including the manager/owner at the front who checked on us and whom we had a great conversation with after our meal. The environment is very friendly and we will definitely be back to try some of the other dishes.

The service here was great. My fiancé, in-law and I went here for food this morning (well, technically yesterday morning b/c I’m making this around 1am). Although they were short-staffed for the day, everyone there was professional and everything that was served was great. There was an altercation w/ some HORRIBLE customer that caused things to slow down, but all the lovely black women working there kept it highly professional the entire time and made sure everyone was well taken care of. Please make sure you prepare a tip when you come through because they truly deserve it for all the traffic they handle day to day. Also, try the brownies they keep at the entrance. They’re worth it even if you aren’t a fan of chocolate 😹 Tbh, we didn’t try as much as we wanted to, but everything we ordered was amazing. Get the millionaire bacon and a side of potatoes w/ your order for sure. AVOID the carrot crush 😭 there’s no way to make it taste good

arrived around 930 and seated within a minute. wait time was awesome. I suggest if you don't desire a long wait time comes early before the Saturday morning rush. The atmosphere was inviting and servers were quiet pleasant. server was very attentive and our food arrived to the table shortly after order placed. food was delicious and will be back again.

Omg the food is delish! Everything was made fresh. I had the avocado toast with scamble eggs and the million dollar bacon and my husband had the carrot cake pancakes, and turkey omelet. He was disappointed that they didn't have the shrimp grits we heard so much about , but thise pakes made him forget all about😄. We will be back.

Absolute work of art this meal was 👏🏽 cheers all around from us! First watch is a family favorite for me & my sisters, but this was the first time hubby and I went together. Being the cafe connoisseurs that we are (lol) we were quite impressed with seasonal menu offerings and the meals that we chose. Hubby is a simple man, he likes to open his stomach for the day with eggs, sausage, some sort of bread/pastry, & potates. He really enjoyed the seasoning on the potatoes. As for me, the flavor on that ham and Gruyère sandwich is divine and I love the flavors in the kale salad I paired it with. The only downside to first watch no matter where we go is that there is almost always a 30min+ wait, but we lucked up going around 9a on a Tuesday because we were seated immediately.

Food was great. We ordered pancakes, waffles, soup, gingerly donut, Chickichanga. Coffee was not good. Service was bad. The server messed up the order couple of times. Said they had hash brown, they didn’t. Brought an item we asked to cancel. Asked for 2 pancakes, billed them separately. So pretty bad. You should go for the food but don’t expect good service.

Nice spot, first time here. My daughter recommended First Watch for my birthday brunch yesterday. The wait time was decent even with making reservations. The food was delicious, I had the morning meditation juice, Belgian Waffle and the Bacado, all pictured with this review. If I had to give one con about this place for this visit, it would be the restrooms, they weren’t the cleanest, we went in 2 separate bathrooms and my daughter said the same thing that I saw in the bathroom I used.

First Watch has become our second service after our morning worship for the past 3 months. We are greeted by Danielle, the host/cashier/greeter, the oil that keeps the front of the restaurant moving smooth as farm fresh butter. With the system of seating, your order is taken with 5 minutes of being seated, and your fresh hot food is on the table within 15 minutes. We absolutely love the atmosphere and the food. Pro tip: Go online and join the wait list. This will minimize your wait when you arrive.

I'm not sure why but I have been at two different First Watch restaurants within the same week. And ordered exactly the same dish both times one location the eggs were slimy and undercooked but plentiful and the cinnamon chip pancake was crispy and burnt but the bacon that I asked for to be burnt it was rubbery and barely cooked and have to send it back for something cook better. It took them one time the second location the eggs were very small amount and well done and the bacon that I asked for burnt came out undercooked and had to be sent back twice before they figured out what burnt meant. Also the cinnamon chip pancake was crunchy and dry. I'm really not sure why there's so much inconsistency in the cooking at different locations except I need to hopefully say that it's in the training and in the management watching. But it's for the service at both restaurants was good but as far as I'm concerned when you ask your waitress to bring you burnt bacon and you use the words excruciatingly burnt then she should not bring it out of the kitchen once or twice unless it is burnt. That's her job to make sure that the order you put in is brought out correctly. So I'm giving them a mediocre rating and I probably won't go back to any locations because I believe they are way overpriced for one pancake and a smidgen of eggs and you can't even get the two strips of bacon correct almost $20 for that. Sorry First Watch I'm done. I will give them credit for having a nice atmosphere and good eclectic selections on their menu but other than that they need to get it right more often. Not like I ordered the hardest thing on the menu either.

This place needs better management or something…. You try to order food via the app to make the process faster but the app is 90% down. Then when you place an order in the store they take forever. & the fact that they say they will call/text your phone when your order is ready is a lie. They had my order sitting on the counter for 20 min without letting me know. Then when i get my food they only give me a kids portion lol. This place has potential but its dropping

I’ve ordered food to go here several times and my food was great. Unfortunately when I dined in with my uncle I didn’t have the best experience. Our food was good and our waitress was very attentive…the waiter assistance was very unprofessional. He was very loud speaking with customers beside us. He held a very inappropriate conversation that made everyone including our waitress uncomfortable. Hopefully he is no longer with the company, she’s stated that he was new.

I love breakfast from a diner especially when they know how to make homefries. 😋 Nigel had a football game real early so we dropped him off and Michelle found this beauty (First Watch)near the field. We pre-ordered because we didn't have time to sit. We get there and it is super crowded. I said "I've lived in this area for years and never knew this place was here". Anyway! Guys the breakfast was awesome I couldn't believe and it was still piping hot!! The million dollar bacon 🥓 😋 is worth the wait!! The homefries are amazing. Please 🌻 🙏🏾 take time to check this place out they will not disappoint. Oh how could I forget to mention their drinks. The drinks 🍸 are amazing they make their own try them all !!! The wait was long, took my server awhile to come and greet me!!! The food was the star!!! Food was absolutely delish!!!! It's the reason they're getting 3 stars and not 1!!!

I really didn’t appreciate the young lady at the front desk today she had a very nasty attitude when I asked certain questions for clarification there was a long wait but that was ok I guess but she slammed our menus down on the table when she sat us then she later saw lettuce on the floor by our table & under our table & didn’t clean it or have anyone to clean it before letting us sit down I had to ask someone to come & clean that up & the table also wasn’t clean & she also didn’t really accommodate any of our needs while we waited to be seated even down to me going up to pay for my stuff she didn’t ask me how everything went or anything just let me pay for my bill & that’s it her customer service skills really were not displaying what I thought first watch displays. Not sure of the young lady’s name but nevertheless I still enjoyed the drinks I had & the food as well. Furthermore, I just wish that I felt welcomed when I first entered everyone else was great including my waitress I appreciate Ms.Christina she was a great asset to our table.

First Watch is a good place to catch breakfast, lunch, or brunch. It can be a little packed, and the wait times can be long, but I guess it is good for First Watch. We had great service by Jayah and the food was really good. We will be back and will try to avoid the long lines.

There is always a wait but......I appreciate the online call ahead/reservation option. I decided to make a couple runs while waiting for the table and I barely noticed the wait time. Food was great, service was decent considering how crowded it was. The ladies at front/hostess, handled things very well.

I am a regular customer at First Watch and everytime I come the service and food is amazing. The staff here makes me feel right at home. Jordan is one of the servers who I have had the pleasure of encountering. She is extremely polite and welcoming. I’ll definitely give this place 5 stars!
