I really love this little place! Great food and a small comfortable dinning room. Prices are very reasonable and the people nice. Update: 02/2023 This place has amazing food with amazingly nice people. Check this place out! They have great sausage, samiches, hotdogs, and much more. We need more places like this.

Papa has great Italian Sausage Sandwiches and the Potatoes La Roma are so delicious. Sausage is available for $6 per pound to go.

Had the Bella supreme. It was good but it wasn't supreme enough. It needed red sauce or a dip in au jus. It was a bit dry even with the peppers and onions. With some red sauce it would be perfect. Staff was nice and friendly. Good food for a good price. Second visit staff not friendly at all and my Chicago dogs were stone cold.

A classic, old school family run eatery that makes a great sausage, peppers and onion sandwich and many other tasty menu items. Fast friendly service, value and very worthy of your support - highly recommended!

Found this spot as I'm going to be working in Kzoo, so I'm looking for new places to try. I used to think I could only get an Italian this good at the fair. Really yummy food, and the young guy who was working today is really yummy too- and friendly. ;) Super fair prices and quick service to boot. They make their own Italian sausage and it is delicious. I had a low-carb Bowl today. It had mild Italian sausage covered in grilled peppers and onions, jalapenos & olives topped with a Red sauce - no bread. It was very good! I definitely recommend stopping here for lunch for anybody that enjoys Italian sausage and Italian beef sandwiches or in my case low carb bowls!

Just had an office training and Papas facilitated the food and the lasagna was right on point. Savory, a touch of sweet and the right about of fennel and spice. Perfect for this rainy day.

I have yet to have anything on Papa's menu that was short of incredible. My office got a meeting catered with papa's homemade lasagna recently and it was the talk of the office! Thank you for the amazing food and service!

Wow, this place was outstanding. Sweetest lady at the counter, very friendly wait staff, food was terrific! And very well priced. Don’t have one near home and it was a treat to come here. Amazing place!

Great service! Food was a little lacking. Everything seemed to need a bit more flavor. Breadsticks were rock hard by the 15 minute drive home. Lasagna would not recommend, sauce was bland and noodles were chewy. Potatoes weren’t fully cooked all the way through. Italian beef and sausage needed more flavoring seemed a bit bland.

The guy at the counter was friendly and welcoming. Food was another story. Can't speak to the Italian sausages, but chicken salad sub was the nastiest, lamest excuse for a sandwich I've ever had. Nothing but minced lettuce in watery mayo with chopped tomatoes on top. Could not identify anything that resembled a morsel of chicken. My friend had a hot dog, which he rated at 5 on a scale of 1 - 10.

I've enjoyed papas food my whole life! Visited the new location for first time today and was excited to hit the drive thru on my lunch. Everything on the menu is fantastic and we all love Carl and his family. The new location is awesome and the food was extra delicious today!!

Chicago hot beef sandwich and vanilla shake was a most delicious lunch! Big enough to share but you won't want to! Great value and the service was quick and with a smile!

Papa's is one of the best lunch places in Kalamazoo. If you don't want fast food and don't want to wait 15 minutes in a drive thru line come here. Friendly service and great food!

Some of the best hotdogs in the state. No matter which one you choose the quality and how the ingredients balance out the flavor is short of magical. It is only matched by the service and atmosphere only Papa's can deliver.

Had the Bella supreme. Best Italian sausage I have ever had, and I like my sausage. But on top of that the pricing was great and the service was even better. I'm a customer for life now.
