Always a great experience at Uccello's on Lake Michigan Drive in Standale Michigan. From the bar tender Maggie, to the servers Allie and ??? (oh my gosh I'm so sorry I forgot the other server) the food was great, very attentive service to our party of 50 with only 2 servers. Great 👍 👌 👍 Great.

I've been frequenting this Uccello's location for quite some time now, and can think of only positive things to say. I began coming here just because it was local, but it quickly became something more. The staff here is incredibly kind and welcoming, and they do a wonderful job of caring for each guest that comes in. I am often on my own and so sit at the bar instead of taking up a table. The bar staff are always hustling to keep the drinks flowing, while also being pleasant and conversational with guests. You get the sense that these folks know what they're doing: whether the bar is slow, or packed full for a Detroit Lions football game, the bartenders take care of business, ensuring bar guests are taken care of while also handling the drink orders for the tables. It's clear the staff here hold themselves to a high standard of service, and that's what makes this place special. I have been to many bars and restaurants in the Grand Rapids area, but consider Uccello's in Standale my home spot, and it's all because of the people. The food and drinks are always consistently good, but it's the staff's upbeat, friendly spirit and constant great service that keeps me coming back.

As a regular since day one! This place is awesome in every way. The bar service is stellar and fast. Come and say hello to… Kendrah, Maddie, Jordan, Olive, Allie, or Kimmy! Never wait for a drink. In addition to great drinks the food is always delicious with some of the best pizza you will ever consume. Best sports bar in GR! The Standale manger’s are always happy and love their jobs. Service was friendly. We had thick crust pizza with shrimp, crab and scallops on top. The 12" was the perfect size for two hungry people. We ate on the dining room side abd the Ilalian music playing mixed with the rock music coming from the bar and it made for a weird dinner soundtrack. It was not busy when we were there as we ate very early at 4pm. Overall a decent experience except for the music.

This place was great! I tried their Alfredo sauce veggie pasta and it was delicious!!! Their house made pizza sauce is one of my favourite. Food and drinks are good!

Outstanding meal. The pizza puffs are super cravable. They don't skimp on portion sizes to put it mildly. Don't leave without the strawberry shortcake. Yes, you'll be too full. Yes, you will find room for it.

Ordered the tomato cream sauce and it just looked like basic tomato sauce. It cost $15 for something I should have just made at home, and I would have liked it better if I had made it at home

Good food, reasonably priced, with drink specials also. Our server was so nice & efficient, stayed on top of our 7 top and was just all around sweet, she was amazing. Atmosphere is pretty generic but nice overall and clean. Give this place a try if you like Italian food :)

It was actually really nice. It was my first time at this establishment and I got the vibe it was more of a sports bar setup, but I really liked it. The food was amazing. Our waitress was amazing as well. Very attentive and asked all the right questions at the right time. Really happy with everything here.

Ordered takeout. Got home to find out that our appetizer and salad were missing. Called and was told we would get a credit for the two items on our next order. I would have preferred to have my money back since I didn’t receive the food. Also think they could have compensated for the inconvenience. Lasagna was not heated through. We upgraded to fries to two of the flatbreads/wraps. There were less than 10 fries for each. Very disappointed, we order frequently and have never had issues. Emailed them through their site and asked for a call from the manager. It’s been a week and still have heard back.

Whenever we are going into the Grand Rapids area, we always stop at Uccello’s and we live on the east side of the state, so yes, we really like the place. This visit was for my graduation commencent and this was the choice for our cravings and I knew my choice before we left the house. Apps- pizza puffs and calamari, both fabulous, and the calamari melts, and is not rubbery, love it Minestrone soup- wonderful flavor Entrees were very tasty and did not disappoint, daughter had a pizza sandwhich, other daughter had create your own pasta and wife had lasagne,, myself, the entree that keeps me coming back, the seafood risotto. This time, of all the times of celebrations, it was a miss, the seafood risotto only had shrimp in it, no scallops or crabmeat. Of course I was disappointed, but the flavor was still very good. We did inform the waitress and she wanted to know if I wanted another, but there was no way I could eat another dish and it was not removed from the bill. Outside of this, our waitress was great. Only other issue was the lack of wanting to be at work by the hostess, she just had that “don’t want to be here” look on her face, as she was laying across the hostess station as she was staring at social media on her phone. Read your bill! "Admin fees" and stubborn staff. -- My bill came with an extra "Admin fee" line-item. The waitress didn't mention it and I didn't remember seeing it on the menu, so I asked to have it removed. That should be easy enough, right? Nobody wants to pay surprise charges, and any self-respecting restaurant should be happy to remove them. The waitress couldn't remove it, though. She deferred to the manager. The manager said he couldn't either, saying it was the owner's doing. I do know restaurants like to sneak fees in nowadays, and if it was an honest sneak, hidden away on the menu and I just didn't see it, I'd at least take that lump and pay it unhappily-- Fair play, fair loss-- so I asked the manager to show me where it was on the menu. If it was there, he couldn't find it either, though, because when I found him at the host's station poring over a menu looking for it, he just said he'd take the "Admin fee" off and I should remember that it's a thing they do, for next time. That won't do, though. Knowing they tried to sneak a charge on me last time isn't a proper notice that they're going to do it again today. Prices belong on the menu, not in memories and tales passed down through the generations. Plus, what about all the other diners who don't know until the bill (if they even see that)? They'll miss it, let it slip by, or have to argue with waitstaff and management who don't much like to back down. I said as much, and was told that if I don't like that, I shouldn't come back. So, now you're warned as well-- by tales passed down over the Internet, not necessarily by them, of course, but I expect they'd say that's enough, when the puffed-up, made-up bill comes. And if you don't like that, you shouldn't have gone there.

I’m a regular here and I love the service at the bar, super quick food out to you and drinks! Kendrah and Jordan never forget any details of the orders either! Everything has always been amazing! :)

Had a wonderful time, was taken here on my birthday! I had heard of this place, but, never had been! It had wonderful food, drinks, great atmosphere, and staff, our waitress took our table, and said that she would take care of us, and she did!

Two words: PIZZA PUFFS! 10/10 recommend, they are amazing fluffy pockets of pizza dough with seasoning and dipped in cheese- not super exciting but so good. The entrees have been pretty good too. I've had sandwiches, pasta, and pizzas there. I have had better pizza, but all of it has been good. They also used to do half-priced apps on weekday nights, but I'm not sure they do that anymore.

My two daughters and granddaughter came for lunch at 2 pm on July 6. Lunch was not good for us. Appetizers pita bread was burnt. Waitress aware and did nothing to replace them or give me credit on the appetizers. Grill chicken on my salad was not properly grilled. Service was not good. I had to ask someone to bring the waitress. Chef needs to take time to prepare foods for customers.

free dessert on your birthday! My family and I have been coming here for years. We haven't had a bad experience yet. They have excellent food: I got the burnt ends- mac and cheese, it was super delicious. They have some of my favorite pizza in town. I'm really happy about their to go boxes not being styrofoam or flimsy paper, but aluminum. It makes reheating in the oven the perfect way to warm up the leftovers.

Waiter was nice and helpful. The food was awesome. So much food to choose from and everything sounded good. I tried the Taste of Italy and it was pretty good.

Note to self, a tall is a "pint". Very good, just a lot more than I was planning on drinking.

Loved our first experience here. My only complaint was that the food took a little while to get to our table, however, it was a Lions game day so we understood. Our table ordered pasta with alfredo, meatball sub, chicken and mushroom risotto, and chicken parmigiano. Everything was very good. Spaghetti sauce is in the sweeter side which was a little different than we liked but else was very good!

Love the ease of online ordering for takeout. We always try something new for apps. All of them are super tasty and difficult to keep out of to make it home intact. The takeout crew is great, super efficient and friendly. Makes you want to come back again and again.

Food was very good, as usual. Uccello's is one of the few restaurants that still has a large menu after COVID, so there's plenty of food to chose from. Nice selection of beers and the sports lounge has plenty of seating. Staff was friendly and quick!

The bartenders are above average +++.The waiter staff is way below average... Don't visit within 1.25 hrs of the kitchen closing. Waiters tend to stand around talking to tables that are only ordering drinks. They pay no mind to people that order beers AND are waiting to order food. Nothing worse than getting the "last call" to order food, as the kitchen closes - after waiting for 1 hour to place said order. Great place to order drinks at the bar and play Keno. Outside of that - this entire establishment has gone downhill. Disclaimer = I have been coming here for yearsss

I had a new dish called wild mushroom, chicken risotto.it was delicious and very filling.had to take some home.i also had the pizza puffs,so addictive 👍😋

The stuffed spinach artichoke pizza is out of this world and the crust wasn't like what I was expecting. It was thin and crispy, and the inside was so cheesy and delicious!
