This is one of the few family owned restaurants still around. Owner is in the restaurant and you can see and taste it. Service impeccable food great prices are reasonable. Coffee great. Absolutely delicious foods and drinks. The staff were helpful, friendly and quick. The location is ideal. The atmosphere of the restaurant is lovely. The menu has a wide variety of options to choose from. I would definitely recommend going here. Great for a family breakfast, quick coffee or at any time.

A bit disappointed. Ordered a latte but is came different. When I query it is was told it is correctly done. The flat coffee that was complementary needed to be ordered separately and does not come complementary with the food? Think the waiter is not properly trained. First time it happened to me here.

We had their 20/20 breakfast and it was nice, only the meat on the preggo roll missed something, not sure what but it tasted a bit bland even with the preggo sauce.

For years the only thing I've ever had is takeaway Pastei de Nata's from their various branches until now. We now have a branch relatively close to home and we stopped to have lunch. They have a good variety of food on the menu, and of course a fantastic deli section of cakes to indulge ie. The Pastei de nata's of course. To eat I had the Fillet topped with a fried egg, and chips on the side with a Portuguese roll known as Bitoque à cervejaria - butter, garlic, beer, mustard and fresh cream sauce. OMG that sauce is amazing. It could be a bit thicker but its bursting with flavour and that Portuguese rolls soaks it all up. It's a definite must to try, they have another 2 varieties of this dish. My brother and sister had different sandwiches which also looked great. On the 20th of each month they do a R20 special like a Coffee and 2 mini Pastei de Nata for R20, or a Prego for R20 - all sit down only. First time I have visited Bembom in Rynfield I was visiting SA on holiday from the UK and was very impressed. Food was good and waitresses very friendly and helpful.

I often go to get chicken pies and pasteis de nata from Bembom. Never disappointing and it's always a treat winner with friends and family.

Pregos have too much sauce, which if they are genuine Portuguese they don't. Bolos de bacalhau are overdone... not very authentic Portuguese food.

My favorite coffee stop! Take away coffee and a treat for lunch. However, we often have a weekend breakfast and inevitably end up buying a treat for later. I love the pasteis de natas!

Comprehensive menu, with options for many pallets. The Chef Salad is simply delicious. Very reasonable prices all round. We will be back

We wanted avocado on toast. But it was not available. They sent someone on foot to the supermarket. We were not prepared to wait so had a toasted cheese and tomato. Salad was lovely.

Love this place. Coffee, delicious. Oh my word those little custard , cinnamon tarts (not sure what they're called, are amazing, could eat 6 of them. The food, over-all is really really good. Yum.

My daughter took my for a treat for my birthday, and I was amazed at their menu and their food. Very good service, friendly waiters and good food. Will definitely be back !!

Loved the coffee and the beef salad. I wont go back for the baked convectionaries. Although presented well, it was not super fresh, a bit tasteless and dry, but it could have been an old batch. Nice play area for the kids but not very well maintained. The other food was okay but not great also.

Great little coffee shop with some tasty food offerings - not your normal menu. Really good bread and pastry. Coffee is excellent. Staff friendly. Can get busy so good to see they extending their outdoor seating.

Very generous portions. Friendly staff. They were very accommodating and allowed me to take the menu out to the car for my mom to look at because she was unable to go into the restaurant. They brought our food out to the car and showed genuine concern. The Pasteis de Nata are exceptional. Definitely worth a visit.

shop is advertising on mr delivery but never has any stock of any items to fulfil me delivery orders, have had them cancel the last 4 orders i made to them, should consider removing from mr d app, EDITED: thanks for the feedback, would be great if the app would show the exact number of each item available. i do understand what you are saying

I ordered a black americano. It was so weak tasted like warm water. I threw it away. My wife ordered an americano with cream she could only taste cream. Also threw it away. But the vibe was cool. Pitty about the product probably won't go back.

Such a lovely place! The food is wonderful, but the real stand out of this place is the amazing pastries and baked goods they sell. It is well worth a visit as it has a great atmosphere and wait staff that are friendly and go out of their way to help

We went to Bembom for their 20/20 special. Two prego rolls with chips, one de nata and coffee, one glass of wine and 3 beers cost R199??? The food was delicious, the coffee was hot and creamy, the drinks were cold and the service was perfect! What more could you ask for and all this cost less than R200?!

The place is pleasant, as was the waiters and waitresses, the location is also good and they have a great selection of everything, from pastries to full meals.

Staff are extremely rude, they think they're doing you a favour serving you! Will never come back again. Pity bembom in Camero closed down, would rather have driven there. Custard tarts are really disappointing. Base is too thin and oily. Custard isn't cooked enough. Palmier very oily too
