Interesting place to visit and a nice hike if you come using the trail system.

Very quiet place most of the time. There are some interpretive signs to tell you of the interesting history. There are no old fort buildings but just "foot prints" of the buildings. There is an annual Fort Willow day in the fall every year where there are people in period costume and crafts etc. It is really worth going! Nice rail trail at the rear of the fort.

Beautiful atmosphere for a wedding ceremony. The covered pavilion is great rain or shine. Lots of nice places for pictures.

They got rid of the accessible path, which made it very challenging and heartbreaking for the people in our group who could not enjoy the walk due to this barrier. Very disappointing and will not be returning

We visited this place today. My husband and I were eager to explore the history and magic of the place. Suddenly, while we were still at the beginning of our walk, a dog appeared from nowhere and started barking at us violently. He was alone and wearing a red collar, but there was no one in the place. It was only our car who parked in the park. In fact, we were afraid of him. He did not let us walk further, and we had to return, because he was walking behind us and barking. My husband and I felt sad. We had come from Hamilton specifically to see the sights of Perry.

Cool place that is relatively private. Lots of great placards scattered throughout describing the history of the area.

Well we have just left the festival at Fort Willow. We would not have gone had we known they charged $35 for a family of four, plus another $10 for our 2-year-old. They said it was to pay the actors. There were only five stations that we visited where our presence was acknowledged. We have a couple of 6-year-olds, and the 2-year-old and we were ignored by all but five stations. The rest standing around in groups having a visit. I acknowledge that it is lunch time, but we didn't get a discount because it was lunch time. Very disappointed.

Quiet and peaceful. Sufficient interpretive plaques and reconstructed features provide visitors ample understanding of the former depot’s layout and functions.

Cool place with a lot of history but there are hardly any facilities. I think it would benefit from a museum and maybe rebuild the fort as it once was. I would love to know more about the fort and the history of the area.

A piece of history that everyone can enjoy! Lots to read and learn about here, and they even have re-enactors on site from time to time! NOTE: Parking is not free! Better to park at the trailhead lot off George Johnston Road and walk in!

It is a nice place to experience some local history and to hike a little bit. The parking is not free even during the off-season. The public restrooms were closed as well. Overall, a good place to spend the time in nature.
