What a utterly divine and appealing temple! It's ravishing beauty and charismatic attraction just invigorates the visitors. Beautifully constructed and one of the famous temples in the world. What I liked the most is the hassle free and convenient entry and exit points, arrangements for leaving footwear, clean corridors and convenient Darshan for every visitor. The main temple of the Lord Radhe Krishna on the top is just mesmerizing to watch that's makes you eyes shine with golden light. There are many food stalls, souvenir shops, etc inside the temple. Free food and Prasadam is provided to every pilgrim. There's a dedicated food court for visitors with variety of delecious eatables. Photography at some places inside is not allowed. Stunning water fountains in place at various points that adds more to the charm of this temple. Once you enter here, you are bound to forget all your negativity and problems as the vibe this place has got fills you up with positive energy. Highly recommended, do visit! Thank You.

Really admired this massive architectural beauty, and its interior. It's not just a temple, but a different world with various religious, and spiritual activities. Hosts a great collection of eateries, and stores for buying religious articles. Ample parking was also available. But the crowd management needs to improve, and some crew members were being rude to the visitors. Also felt that this temple was a bit commercial in nature.

This temple is very well built. Its artwork and architecture is worth watching. On festivals, there is huge mob, so better to go on off days. For aged people it may be difficult, as you have to walk a long distance to reach the main temple. Tip: Better to keep cash, as in temple premise the network is low and UPI may not work.

The architecture is mind-blowing, with all those intricate details and vibrant colors. Once inside, the devotional chants and rituals create this peaceful atmosphere that's perfect for some soul-searching. What I love is how well-maintained everything is. The surroundings are green and clean, offering a nice escape from the city chaos. The interior of the temple is a visual treat – the carvings and the central altar with the deities are just beautiful. What sets this place apart is not just its spiritual side but also the community vibe.

The ISKCON Temple in Bangalore is a truly captivating and spiritually enriching place. From the moment I stepped inside, I was welcomed by the serene atmosphere and the melodious chants that transport you to a different realm. The temple's architecture is a masterpiece, and it exudes a sense of divinity that's hard to describe in words. The beautiful deity worship and the spiritual discourses held here are not only enlightening but also deeply moving. The temple's pristine gardens provide a peaceful retreat for contemplation and meditation. The food served at the temple is not only delicious but also prepared with utmost devotion, adding to the overall experience. The dedicated staff and volunteers at ISKCON Bangalore are extremely welcoming and happy to share their knowledge and insights about spirituality. It's a place where people from all walks of life can come together to find solace and connect with their inner selves. In summary, ISKCON Temple in Bangalore is a must-visit for anyone seeking a profound spiritual experience, and I would highly recommend it to all.

No doubt the place is miraculous. Very peaceful place to visit anytime with anyone. Mostly it's very crowded on sundays. The temple itself is beautiful in structure. Get blessings from the lord. The temple has it's own shoping area where you can find many spiritual related stuff. The best part is prasadam counters 🖤. The food is so tasty that you'll never forget. I'll suggest you bring some cash with you because if crowd is there it's most likely you can't do UPI or other online payments. Enjoy!

Calm and serene place but a lot of walk is required to reach the temple. Beware if you are coming with elders. Do ask for lift. It will help if you are coming with elders. Elders and handicapped people can use lift here. Poor network connection. So, advisable to carry cash instead of relying on UPI.

But the sad part is everything is turning into business. From footwear to other things, you will be paying money. Now it is less of a temple and more of a business. They have turned it into a complex where they have so many shops selling everything to earn money. Some place needs to be sacred and should not be turned into business. Slowly everything is getting monetized.

A must visit. Central dome is extremely grand and beautifully designed. You’d be lost in the world of devotion upon sighting Krishna. Tasty prasada is served along with a lot of sweets and eatery outlets. Souvenir and books can be bought within temple premises. Close to the metro station and good facilities for parking, drinking water, hand wash, washroom, slipper stand and luggage counter.

Felt more like a business firm rather than a religious place. It is too crowded on weekends and it's hard to find a parking slot. Good to visit once as a tourist place. Didn't find any divinity or calmness inside the temple. The main building architecture looks good but the rest of the buildings are just normal ones. Saw many videos of the temple stating great architecture and a divine feeling which I never felt when I visited there. There's paid as well as free entry to temples. Parking is paid only.

Visited today with family, liked the main temple with Dome, overall entire campus is neat and clean.. crowd and parking not very well managed though there is sufficient space. We took family pass by paying ₹400/- and it was little quicker to reach all the places of god and were given options to be in front where you can sit for few mins while those in normal queues had to face the normal challenge we have everywhere.

**Review of ISKCON Temple Bangalore** I recently visited ISKCON Temple in Bangalore and was truly impressed by the overall experience. The temple's ambiance is serene and provides a tranquil environment for spiritual contemplation. The architectural beauty of the temple and its well-maintained surroundings added to the overall appeal. The facilities, including parking and restrooms, were convenient. However, I believe there is room for improvement in terms of additional amenities for visitors. The cultural and spiritual significance of ISKCON Bangalore was effectively conveyed, enhancing my understanding of the principles and teachings. The events and activities offered an engaging and informative experience, contributing to the overall visit. The maintenance of the temple premises was commendable. The staff exhibited friendly and helpful behavior, contributing to a positive atmosphere. However, I would appreciate more interactive services for visitors. The cafeteria's prasadam was a delightful culinary experience. The variety and quality of the offerings exceeded my expectations. In light of the ongoing pandemic, the temple had noticeable safety measures in place, ensuring a comfortable and secure visit. I highly recommend ISKCON Temple Bangalore to both locals and tourists. To enhance the visitor experience, I suggest adding more amenities and interactive services. Overall, my visit left a lasting impression, and I look forward to returning.

The vibes here are so positive and peaceful. The chants of Hare Krishna Hare Krishna just add up to the wonderful ambience of this temple. Such an amazing way to chant Lord Krishna's name by stepping every time on a new marble step. The main temple of Krishna is beautifully decorated. You can worship there and even sit down for a while and meditate and feel the positivity around. Don't forget to take the warm-delicious prasadam which is served to all the pilgrims

The ISKCON temple in Bangalore is a testament to excellent architectural prowess, captivating visitors with its divine beauty. The temple attracts a significant number of devotees, creating a vibrant atmosphere filled with the soothing sound of people chanting. While the shoe stall provides a secure option for a fee, the free service lacks responsibility. The free food offered is a blessing, but the large crowds can make the experience a bit overwhelming. Overall, a spiritual haven with room for improvement.

The architecture of Bangalore's ISKCON temple is a magnificent presence and is credited to being the largest ISKCON complexes in the world. The most distinctive feature of this temple is it's gold plated flag post which stands at a height of 17 metres, followed by its gilded Kalash Shikharas which is at a height of 8.5 metres. An example of the neoclassical style of architecture, the ISKCON temple is embellished with the most exquisite style. Must visit if you come in Bengaluru.

ISKCON is located in the Rajaji Nagar in Bangalore, and a venture of the International Society of Krishna Consciousness, ISKCON Temple in Bangalore is a shrine to Lord Krishna. This splendid architecture was first erected by Sri Madhu Pandit Das and inaugurated in the year 1997 by the then President of India, Shankar Dayal Sharma. It houses a number of prayer halls, dedicated to Sri Sri Radha Krishnachandra, Sri Sri Krishna Balarama, Sri Sri Nitai Gauranga, Sri Srinivasa Govinda and Sri Prahlada Narasimha. Apart from being a shrine to the Lord, ISKCON Bangalore is also a cultural hubbub of multiple dimensions. It has a lecture hall of its own, which holds daily lectures delivered by devotees on the Srimad Bhagavatam. It also has an amphitheatre, in which a number of events are held, such as cultural fests, dance and music programmes, educational conferences and so on. The ISKCON Temple in Bangalore also conducts a number of festivals across the year, inviting pilgrims and devotees to it in all seasons. Rama Navami, Akshaya Tritiya, Sri Sri Krishna Balarama Rath Yatra are only a few of them. Being located on top of a hill that is far removed from any source of drinking groundwater, the temple provides drinking water to its visitors from tankers transported all the way from the ground area. It is also well guarded by well-trained security personnel, who monitor the area all the time. The temple also has a gift shop of its own, known as Matchless Gifts, selling aromatic incense and other devotional products. These items are manufactured from natural products, and any profit gained is donated to charitable organizations. HARHE RAMA HARHE KRISHNA KRISHNA KRISHNA HARHE HARHE...

Very famous pilgrimage spot in Bangalore. Infrastructure is very well built and maintained. Spread over a very large piece of land and can house a lot of devotees at the same time. The main Radha Krishna idols are in the main temple at the very top. To reach that you may have to climb about 50-60 steps. There is also NarsimhaSwamy and lord Venkateshwara temples on the way to main temple via steps. There are no shops to buy coconuts and flowers so you will have to bing it from home. On weekends it get very crowded and there will be a queue. But the queue management is quite good. This is not a temple where you can sit and get a long time for darshan as it is always crowded and the guards will pull or push you to move quickly. However you can sit at a distance where usually keerthans are going on. Parking is well managed but it can get easily full over weekends. They also arrange free meals but on specific time only. There are 2 restaurants inside Prasadam restaurant and The higher taste. Prasadam is a self serving quick serice restaurant and The higher taste is a buffet type fine dining restaurant. The way out of the temple is specially designed such that you will have to cross the food and souvenir shops so that you can buy things from there which i dont like.

What a remarkable Har Krishna Temple in Bangalore, India! On our drive to this great temple there were 7 cows who owned the road by crossing to the other side on their own sweet time! Cows are revered as sacred animals in this country and as I was patiently waiting, I thought how cool for these sacred cows to pass by as I'm on my way to the temple! When we arrived, we had to remove socks and shoes before entering. It does cost a small amount of money to enter, so my guide lead me all the way! I needed to wash my face, hands and feet! Then we began taking the steps up to the entrance. I counted each one. At different times we went into small areas to pray, as I watched and said my own prayers, I watched, then asked why he did certain movements such as hands, laying on the ground, placing his forehead on the wall, etc. My guide explained everything to me. I was curious about everything, but never minded me asking. We went up more steps, then more prayers. Then pictures of the outside of this beautiful building made if concrete, marble and gold! After the 120 step, we entered an amazingly large room with men and women in prayer giving respect. No pictures were allowed to be taken inside. So I refrained out of due respect. I saw Beautiful paintings, art in gold, and so many statues. We followed a line of people and I gave money as if I were in church giving my tigths to God. I received coupons at entrance to purchase a book, which was in English. They have in several languages. The book I chose to purchase was a vegetarian cookbook! After this we were given a spoon of water to drink. Then we went into other rooms like a small museum, gift shops, and foods to purchase. They gave as a gift some homemade desserts! At the final end, we were offered a free meal to eat. This was an amazing visit to learn and understand another's culture and religion. I felt very content when I left. Was extremely grateful for the guide I had. I recommend all open minded people to try learning different cultures and faiths and you can at this very beautiful ISKCON Temple!

Best modern temple on a hillock. It is clean and well maintained. Paintings of lord Krishna are amazing on the walls and ceiling. Always a festive atmosphere. There are a lot of options to eat satvik food. There is a 3D theater inside and also a small shop. View of Bangalore from temple is beautiful with temples, metro rail and skyscrapers. Generally very crowded during weekends and holidays. Higher taste inside the temple complex is good but expensive restaurant.

A modern temple with modern architecture, this temple is one of those places you must visit when in Bangalore. This place somehow seemed more "magical" visiting it as a kid. I wish they would allow the public on the outer courtyard just outside of the main temple like they used to. I also wish they wouldn't sell anything inside the main temple. It would've been perfect if this area was just dedicated to the live classical music, the chanting and meditation.

Attractive statue of shree lakshmi narasimha, laksmi venkateshwara, an eye catching pond, kalyani in front and small gift shops prasadam counter, books etc, a lovely place for one day visit with family. One thing is costly

Nice temple to see for people who did not explore Bangalore. Why i gave a star less is because of the food court there. Temple maintenance wise everything is nice but the foods at food court are not covered, those foods are not heated for serving. That they are readily pouring sauce on the food and keeping it, they are still becoming bad. So this has to be taken into note and change the way of selling food.

Excellent darshan and well maintained. Request to management to install overhead queue covers so that pilgrims don't stand in rain and sun. We got totally wet during the transit to the main temple. Keep clear signboards of senior citizen entry. We know you have it but keep it in the place where it is needed.

The ISKCON Temple in Bengaluru is a beautiful and serene place to visit. The temple is located in the heart of the city, but it feels like a world away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life♾️ •Visit the temple and see the beautiful architecture and artwork. •Attend a religious service or ceremony. •Take a class or workshop on Hindu philosophy, yoga, or meditation. •Visit the library and learn more about Hindu culture and religion. •Shop at the gift shop and buy souvenirs to remember your visit. •Eat at the restaurant and enjoy a delicious meal. You will definitely get a spiritual impression here!❤️

Embarking on my inaugural visit to the ISKCON Temple proved to be an extraordinary experience, one that seamlessly blends spirituality with tranquility. The ambiance exuded a profound sense of peace, creating a captivating and spiritually enriching journey. I wholeheartedly recommend this sacred haven to anyone in search of a place that not only touches the soul but also offers a sanctuary for inner peace and reflection. A truly transformative experience that I enthusiastically encourage others to embark upon. 🙏

We didn't know you could buy tickets so we ended up in the track for free entrance. This gives a special experience too. There are 108 tiles/steps and for each of them you say Hare Krishna. It is a really beautiful temple both inside and outside. Photos are not allowed inside.

The ISKCON Temple in Bangalore is pretty amazing! The place has this serene vibe right from the moment you step in. They host cool cultural events, educational stuff, and even charitable initiatives. It's more than just a temple; it's like a cultural and social hub. Whether you're a devotee or just looking for a peaceful spot, ISKCON Temple in Bangalore is a must-visit. It's got this unique blend of architectural beauty, spiritual vibes, and a community feel that makes it stand out in the city.

A beautiful temple and a must visit for devotees of Lord Krishna. Truly serene and has a whole lot of spiritual and motivational books to purchase. They even run a charity centre where they help educate underprivileged children, through the funds from the shops inside. As for other facilities there is a proper parking, shoe locker, and restroom.

I felt it was more of place of business rather than a place of worship. But considering that they are feeding the poor can justify making it a business. Just that the vibe felt more like a cult.

It was an amazing experience, feeling blessed, overall it was a blissful day. We reached there by 2:30 PM, It was very less crowded during the time visited. The temple is very pleasent, Clean. I am visiting the temple after 7Years. I like the way they perform the pooja and aarthi. It feels divine. After the darshan the shops were very nicely managed by people.. one suggestion is that don't mention "prasadam" for cake, Puffs and all. Prasadam is one thing which is offered to God and served to the devotees. We had a lot o things from the stores. Almost all of the delicacies are cheap and best. We had, Holige, Samosa, Puffs, Donuts, Puliogare rice, Dhokla, Chilli Bhajji, Mango Rasagulla. We have bought 2 Krishna Keychain as souvenir.

The temple is open from 4:30 a.m. to 5:00 am. The day begins with a Grand arati ceremony called mangala-arati followed by worship of Tulasi Devi, Sri Narasimha Arati and Suprabhata Seva for Sri Srinivasa Govinda. The temple again opens at 7:15 a.m. for Shringara Darshana Arati. 5:15 a.m. to 7:15 a.m.: Japa Meditation session. The temple remains open until 1:00 p.m. In the evening the temple is open from 4:15 to 8:15. During weekends and public holidays Temple timings are 4:30 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. without any break in the afternoon. The evening arati starts at 7:00 where devotees sing kirtan. In the main temple the arati is performed by three priests. This arati is followed again by kirtan where devotees can be seen dancing to the rhythm of "Hare Krishna Hare Rama".

Well, definitely a proud and fortunate moment to describe the signature temple of Bangalore. The first ISKCON temple in New York established in early 1967 by the Spiritual Master and the Founder Acharya - Srila Prabhupada, is an organization set up across the world to propagate the principles of Krishna Consciousness as prescribed in our vedic scriptures. Following the Madhwa Gaudiya sampradaya, the disciples of Srila Prabhupada, even as of date, diligently practice and preach the principles and the true values of life to all those looking for the answers wrt the philosophy and purpose of human life. This temple has a beautiful architecture and was constructed 25 years back under the able guidance of Padma Shri awardee Madhu Pandit Prabhu, who also initiated Akshaya Patra that has touched millions of children across India and growing big each day. The temple houses beautiful deities of Sri Radha Krishna Chandra, Krishna Balarama, Nithai Gauranga, Prahlada Narasimha and Srinivasa Govinda. It's a visual treat to have the Darshan of the deities beautifully dressed in variety of attires every day and an aural retreat to hear the vaishnava bhajans sung by the temple devotees every day..there are a whole lot of activities taken up by the temple to help one educate and grow in the spiritual path. Suggest visit the temple and experience yourself.. Hare krishna

Architecture of this temple is masterpiece of Madhu Pandit prabhu and Chanchlapati prabhu. Many activities run from here apart from temple seva. More than 125 full time devotees take care of this temple. Many other projects are running under supervision of Madhu Pandit prabhu. Only vaishnav food served here and food quality is awesome. Free khichdi prasadam distribution runs during darshan hours daily.

No doubt the place is a must visit. Very peaceful place to visit anytime with anyone. Mostly it's very crowded on sundays. The temple itself is beautiful in structure. The temple has it's own shoping area where you can find many spiritual related stuff. The best part is prasadam counters . The food is so tasty that you'll never forget. I'll suggest you bring some cash with you because if crowd is there it's most likely you can't do UPI or other online payments. Enjoy!

From the moment I entered the premises, I was captivated by the temple's magnificent architecture. The grand entrance adorned with intricate carvings and vibrant colors set the stage for what was to be a truly immersive spiritual journey. The temple's design is a harmonious blend of traditional and contemporary elements, which adds to its unique appeal. Once inside, the atmosphere was filled with a palpable sense of peace and tranquility. The temple's interior exuded a divine aura, enveloping visitors in a serene ambiance. The beautifully adorned deity of Lord Krishna, the presiding deity of the temple, radiated an aura of devotion and grace, instilling a sense of reverence in all who beheld it. The temple complex also features well-maintained gardens and pathways, providing a soothing environment for visitors to stroll and reflect. The meticulously manicured landscapes and vibrant flora create a calming oasis amidst the urban chaos.

A nice devotic place of Lord sri krishna. The temple Is very clean and neat as like other iskon temple. The car parking facility is good and while Entering the que they asked for a paid dharshan of 300 rs which they allowed me and wife (actually upto 4 can go in one ticket). This is like a fasttrack dhraashan where no need to stand in que and on reaching the main temple we can sit for some Time for harathi and we can do archana for lord sri Krishna. This was very patiemt dharshan and we our heart will be melted seeing radhe krishna. After a long dharshan for 10 mins they given laddu prashad and we can pick 2-3 book of our choice which is included in the cost of the tickets. When we moved on there was a prabhu who asked for donation and as the day we visted was our marriage day i have donated some 4000 bucks and they said it ll serve food to 11 kids for a year via akshyapatra kitchen. I am happy for this donation and we left the temple with fullfilled heart and blessings of Sri krishna. While exitting from Main temple we can see a small line for free prashad and it was awesome taste which Is free for all devotees. The whole campus is well maintained and with fill postive vibrations of Shri krishna. This is the one of the temple everyone should go if u visit bangalore. Hare krishna !! Hare krishna!!!

Its taxing from the moment you step in and step of temple on mind, body and wallet. Cake and pastry as krishna prasadam i cannot imagine. The ISKCON Temple is situated in Rajaji Nagar. Belonging to the International Society for Krishna Consciousness, the ISKCON temple is one of the most popular temples in Bangalore. One of the largest ISKCON temples in the world, the ISKCON Temple at Bangalore has deities of Krishna, Radha, Balarama, Chaithanya, Narasimha and Hanuman. All the deities are kept in the main sanctorum on a marble pedestal. The temple is open from 4.15 am to 5 am, 7.15 am to 12.50 pm and 4 pm to 8.20 pm every day. For the regular stream of pilgrims visiting, various amenities like drinking water, washrooms, parking and food courts are available. Inaugurated in 1997, the other attractions at ISKCON temple are the gold plated flag post and the gold plated kalash shikara. Sri Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Temple is a popular temple located at Malleswaram. Built in 1982, this temple is open from 7.30 am to 12 pm and from 6 pm to 9 pm. Other than the main idol of Lakshmi Narasimha in the Sanctum Sanctorum, the temple has a shrine dedicated to Lord Anjaneya. Preferred by the whole family, both the temples are easily accessible and can be visited throughout the year. Its also a combination of glass and gopurams, it glitters atop a 7-acre hillock. It is one of the largest ISKCON Tempe in the world. Ornate arches and pillars, soothing fountains and a magnificent Rajagopuram make this a peaceful place even for the non-religious person. Though thousands of devotees visit every day, the interiors are spacious and atmospheric with chants, bhajans and cool breezes. The temple through its various charity programmes provides free food to those in need.

The iconic ISKCON temple was a place I wanted to go to while in Bangalore. Last weekend we got the opportunity to visit the same and it was completely packed but the crowd management well done. As a tourist spot, the vibe, the various food stalls, books available in different languages only add to a great touring experience. However, going there on weekdays would be recommended as one can spend more time in the place.

Iskcon, Bangalore is the most loving place for me. I ensure a visit whenever I visit Bangalore. Being a life patron, this place gives me lots of Peace. The chanting of Hare Krishna, Hare Rama gives me Energy, Positivity and Happy moments of time spent here. One has to visit this place to feel the positive energy and the inner happiness. Hare Krishna🙏

The temple is filled with divine vibes. Well organised and maintained temple. The facilities are very good. The temple is really big and it's really a nice place to spend a peaceful evening. It might take an hour to cover the entire temple. If you want to experience the peace and divine vibes try to avoid the crowd, usually late evenings on weekends are a little crowded.

The temple is so big and you can spend an hour min here. You have a whole food court here for your cravings. Price is nominal and overall you'll have a good time here

Impressive and different experience (In from Denmark 😉) We were so lucky to be there when the priest performed a chanting (I guess there's the name) and we were part of it. Really a special moment to see. Pay the little extra - 100rupee - for fast track!!

You get to enter the temple hall through an organised queue path. Well maintained and good darshan. The deities resides on stunningly beautiful alters. There are purchasable offering stations and also multiple shopping areas with huge collection of items and food prasadam.

Felt closer to God. A Well organised temple. The flow of crowd was almost seamless. But it had many shops for a temple, however I guess it's expected for such an organized temple.

If you are driving from electronics city take a Nice Road. The road has a toll and it's the fastest route. The toll charge was 155 rupees on one side. The temple has a car parking and two vehicle parking spaces inside. Car park cost us 40rs and there is no time limit. There is a small queue at the entrance but it was moving fast clicking pictures is not allowed inside but it was peaceful and Bhajan people are singing to make you feel more spritual. We had a very good darshan of Shree Krishna, you can buy books they are selling and when you go down there are various options to buy sweets, snacks, samosa and other stuff they are selling. Some things you might find expensive but some are at a very reasonable price. You will get the best khichdi Prasad while you exit. The Prasad was so delicious you can refill and ask them again also. Temple people are very good and cooperative. The temple was clean and well maintained. There is also a restaurant inside in case you want to enjoy the traditional and authentic food but you have to pay for that.

Beautiful and divine as always. Try to added free sessions on Sundays through folk team which helps you in many ways in your life. They don't expect anything from you , but you'll be the one devoting your time itself to the god by listening to their preachings.

The Hare Krishna Temple at Bangalore (ISKCON TEMPLE). It is located on a hill, beautiful location and one of the marvel of architecture. Perfection in planning each and everything. Lot of crowd visits the temple. Car parking available. Prasadam is available at scheduled time. A book stall is there in the mandir. Small stalls of food and articles are arranged on the returning way.

I recently visited the ISKCON Temple in Bangalore , and the artwork and architecture is good It stands tall and majestic, inviting visitors from far and wide to experience its spiritual atmosphere. The maintenance of the temple is truly good . The premises are immaculately kept, showcasing the dedication and care put into preserving this sacred place. This temple property is amazing. The peace and tranquil at this place is just mesmerizing to say the least. No doubt they have even commercialized everything from souvenirs to prasads everything is commercialized. Visiting God in the name of faith is highly recommended the architecture is breathtaking. The system around the temple property is highly maintained. Drinking water is provided at every juncture so you don't get thirsty. There's also 108 tiles placed before the entry to the main temple which is something very unique. You say Jai Shree Krishna before entering the temple 108 times on each tile. And achieving it is a personal victory of sorts.

We arrived in front of the temple around 11 o'clock in the morning. Although there were many visitors at that time, arrangements were in place to accommodate a long queue. There is a place to keep your footwear before entry as well as a place for safekeeping your camera equipment. No photography is permitted within the temple. There is no fee for entry. The temple is orderly, very clean and well maintained. The architecture is striking and is a combination of modern and traditional aesthetics. A prominent feature is a tall – gold plated flag post. As a Hindu, I felt a strong feeling of piety and spirituality within the premises. The chanting of “Hare Rama – Hare Krishna” lifted me to a feeling of holiness. We sit for more then one hour along with all the devotees and chanting the - "Mahamantra" ISKCON is the shortened form for International Society for Krishna Consciousness. ISKCON devotees worship god Krishna. At the exit from the temple, but still within the temple premises, are many shops that sell items related to Krishna as well as souvenirs and food. We purchased the book English translation of “Bhagawat Gita” here. This area also has a lecture room, exhibition area and a movie theatre showing Krishna related movies and documentaries. We left the temple at about 2pm after spending about three hours within the premises.
