Lhasa is a Tibetan cum Chinese restaurant located off the Dal Lake Boulevard in Srinagar, though it serves Indian and Kashmiri food too. The place has an indoor courtyard with artificial grass, which offers its patrons outdoor seating along with indoor arrangements. The Tibetan items on the menu and soups are recommended. We had momos and hot manchow soup for starters, which were pretty standard and wholesome. For mains, we tried the Chicken Schezwan rice and Chilli Chicken gravy, the latter of which was surprisingly delicious and loaded with the goodness of chicken and abundant vegetables. Cost for two is about ₹700, and I would recommend this place if you crave Asian food in Srinagar.

Im not going to delve too deep into it. But overall its an ok restaurant that is averagely priced. I.e. we were a group of 5 and spent around 2600, so around 520 each. Portion size is decent. We had leftovers. But the taste over the years has gone down. And I know everyone says the food is good, and I am not saying otherwise. Definitely is one of the better asian restaurants in Srinagar. But I have been going here for years and from that point of view I say that the quality has vained. So : Ambience = 4/5 Food = 3/5

I liked the place especially eating in the open area was a good experience...the quality of food was really very nice. They have renovated the place a little and changed that shaky furniture. You can spend a comfy time there. The ambience is rich and vibrant. The service offered is nice. Their washrooms are quite clean. Non availability of the parking area is the only turn off. It's better to park your vehicle in some nearby parking lots and avoid inconvenience.

Atmosphere at Lhasa is great. Staff was helpful and friendly. However food is not what I had expected. Ordered almost 6 items from the menu only 1 item was tasty and tasty was like ok ok. If you are foodie don't waste your time here. If you a person who likes ambiance then this place is for you. Overall improve food quality and taste.

The food served was stale. The chicken was extremely chewy and the noodles were re fried multiple times. The soup smelled really bad and didn’t seem like the right combination with mutton, chicken and eggs together.

Three starts for The ambiance which was great, options of both indoor and outdoor dinning. And two less stars for the food… We ordered Chilli garlic noodles, Prawn & veg and chicken wonton soup. Salt was slightly on the plus side. Food was doable but not that great. With alternative options like fat panda around Lhasa needs to up its game. Service was quick and good.

Four us had gone there for lunch on a lazy Sunday afternoon. We have been coming to this place since the past two decades and it is a favourite haunt of our family. The place has gotten a major facelift since I visited it last during the pre-Covid era. It used to be a laid back place with a lawn with garden umbrellas and moulded plastic furniture before. Now it has a cushioned seating and wooden furniture with spruced up interiors. We had the Lhsasa special soup, fried rice, chowmein and chicken. The only dish which wasn't Lhasa special were the chicken dumplings. The food was excellent both in taste and in quantity and the service was good.

A great place that serves tasty Chinese cuisine, the food is great and the staff and manager are very courteous, quick service. It has ample seating space and they serve good mocktails and starters . Decently priced and located near to the Dal Boulevard.

Authentic Chinese. Well maintained place. Great ambience. Many options for vegetarians. I tried their momos and they were amazing. Also tried spring rolls, but they were way too oily than usual. All in all good experience in Srinagar main dal lake road. Worth the money spent. Staff is courteous and polite

Good joint situated just opposite to Dal Lake. Chinese, Tibetan, Indian platter are available. However, Chinese is most famous. The ambience is also good. It has an open garden sit in facility.

They Serve Authentic Tibetan food soo the food was quite bland for my Indian palette.. had the thupa they add a lot ingredients but I did not like the taste of any...If you want try traditional Tibetan food then only get this place a try

Park the car somewhere on the main road parking because there is no car parking available by the restaurant. Soup was great, the best i have ever had. Wontons could be better though, so that they are perfect. Their special noodles were also great in taste.

Lhasa is a very welcoming place for people who love food and hospitality. Food quality and taste was very good; the outside space is pleasant and the hospitality was outstanding. We had roasted duck here with my son and a friend and we all loved it...

One of the best restaurant in Srinagar within prime location to enjoy tibetan as well as kashmiri cuisines. Food and drinks both were appetizing. Atmosphere is also peaceful to enjoy

Went there recently during Iftiyaar time.. The ambiance of the place is cool. It does have an open space where in you can enjoy your meal.I must say we were welcomed by good amount of iftiyari that was complimentary as well. We ordered food despite being full crowded service provided by the staff was very good. We ordered Mutton nihari which was accompanied by afghan naan, I must say it was very tasty, along with that we ordered my fav buttor chicken which was out of this world. And we did order our favorite chicken biryani which was also very tasty. All in all we had a great experience at this place.. oh I forgot to mention one thing we ordered a soup which wasn’t even billed that was also given as a complimentary to us. This is a must visit place here in srinagar Kashmir.

One of the best places to have some different cuisine when in Kashmir. We were literally bored of eating paratha and bread butter and Maggie and Lhasa was our Savior.
