This is the best place in the town to have Harissa. A dish prepared by slow cooking minced meat in clarified butter(ghee), Served with kebab garnishing and accopanied by freshly baked Kashmiri bread . This is pure Kashmiri delicacy enjoyed only in the rustik ambience that only dilshad restaurant offers .

👇A review to look for👇 They don't serve mutton, that is one biggest truth you should know. It would have been alright it they served a good quality "badmaaz" but the quality is very bad, even though the harisa taste good but it is not healthy for your stomach, too much of Charbi, "FAT" added. You will definitely have problems in your stomach after eating their harisa. Just imagine, here mutton is for 600 rupees per kg and they are selling 1/4 kg for just 200, which clearly shows which kind of meat it is. I have only seen one cafe which actually serves mutton harisa which is Liberty Cafe although they sell a 1/4 for 450 with complimentary chai, but it is worth it, two people can eat in 450 rupees ka harisa. Please be careful, "yi chu drounth budmaaz asaan", very unhealthy. They are playing with the lives of people, too much of this harisa can be really dangerous for your health. Beware, please 🙏.

Best known place for Harisa in Srinagar. The service is quick. The only issue here is unavailability of car parking. Better come early in morning.

A very good place to get Harisa ❤️ I just loved it

When we went there it was very crowded and people were waiting at stairs. There was not sufficient space inside and you have to wait to eat inside the restaurant. But you can get packed food quickly and eat outside like we did in the car. Quality was OK and you can find better in some other places. Harisa here is available upto 5pm while at most other places it is available upto 10am only.

Best place to get harisa easily in Srinagar. But produces in bulk hence the quality is compromised. In comparison to the harisa makers of downtown, his rating stands at 3 out of 10.

Best Harisa in the town. One of the oldest restaurant serving Harissa. Delicious!!! The dish is made of mutton (took one day to process) to seperate bone from meat and then cook it until it got shredded. They serve Harissa in a plate on top of it they put a piece of kabab , and methi maas {made of Tripe - edible lining from the stomach (you can simply tell them no if u don't like it) } and oil along with Kashmiri Naan. Delicious. Very Busy restaurant. If you want to taste try in morning time it will made your day. But the street is very busy , you may not get parking there plan accordingly.

I ordered harissa from Dilshad restaurant… In all sincerity, it’s the best harissa I had so far in srinagar, had tried others but didn’t find them good. The taste , texture and packaging was immaculate. Delivery was prompt and gentleman who delivered didn’t have a hard time finding my location. I will be ordering my winter breakfast from the folks only.
