BEWARE!
We
visited
this
property
in
April,
2023.
We
booked
one
of
the
suites
with
many
high
expectations
as
the
photographs
seemed
quite
appealing.
The
check-in
was
smooth
-
unfortunately,
this
was
the
only
“smooth”
part
of
our
stay.
We
were
allocated
a
room
that
had
a
very
strong
putrid
smell
in
the
changing
rooms
and
washroom.
We
called
reception
once,
and
they
confirmed
they'd
send
someone
to
investigate
this.
After
spending
over
an
hour
in
the
room
with
no
one
from
the
management
team
to
check
this,
we
had
to
physically
walk
over
to
the
reception
and
request
an
individual
behind
the
counter
to
send
someone
over.
Upon
a
thorough
check,
they
suggested
a
move
to
a
different
room
-
I
am
not
sure
why
such
a
room
was
allocated
to
us
and
why
it
took
over
an
hour
for
the
management
to
move
us!
This
instance
and
the
management’s
turnaround
time
were
very
offputting.
It
was
my
wife’s
birthday
during
one
of
the
days
of
our
stay,
and
I’d
made
prior
arrangements
(i.e.,
payments)
for
a
romantic
dinner
around
a
bonfire
and
a
birthday
cake.
Due
to
poor
weather
conditions,
neither
the
bonfire
nor
the
dinner
was
made
-
the
management,
instead
of
refunding
this
amount,
very
egregiously
notified
us
that
they
would
not
be
reimbursing
any
amount
regardless
of
the
outcome;
we
even
tried
requesting
that
our
dinner
should
be
compensated
as
we
had
deposited
a
fairly
large
amount
for
the
exact
thing,
this
was
also
not
honored
by
the
management.
The
birthday
cake
(which
we
had
already
paid
for)
was
added
to
the
final
bill-
we
had
to
haggle
with
folks
at
the
reception
to
correct
the
final
bill.
The
in-room
dining
was
sub-par,
and
the
breakfast
buffet
had
stale
food
-
we
went
to
the
buffet
twice,
and
the
food
items
were
cold
and
stale.
For
the
money
this
property
charges,
it’s
a
shame
that
management
is
clueless
about
the
basics
of
hospitality.
I’d
never
be
coming
back
to
this
establishment.
