Great Cry Little Wool Jee Enn Bakery, a reputated name in every household of Kashmir however these so called reputated shops are feeding unhygienic food. Just on the eve of Eid I brought a cake and same day I kept it in refrigerator. After 2 days when I opened it dead worms came out of it. Just on 31st May 2019 Food Department of Jammu & Kashmir had imposed a fine of Rs 2000/- on them for not maintaining the hygienic conditions in their factory. We are spending money for quality food and in return they just feed us dead worms.

Jee Emm bakery is one of the oldest bakeries of Srinagar. It is very popular amongst locals due to its quality bakery products. The cakes and the cookies are hotselling products. Chicken roll, mutton roll etc is also very popular.Tje breads are also very popular. It's a good place for youngsters to hangout

Good fresh baked stuff. I am seeing them at least for last 4 decades and their popularity has only grown all this time. It is remarkable to see that they have continued to churn good bakery stuff, cakes, patties, variety of biscuits, cookies etc and still kept the prices so reasonable. Flip side is you will hardly find a item or two without egg. But then it is Srinagar, paradise for non-veg food and very few would mind absence of eggless choices. The great stuff and reasonable prices are two good reasons why they have continued to be in business with added popularity every passing year. Another positive point about them I can say is their location, very easily reachable and in vicinity of the most popular business area of Srinagar.

While we were in Srinagar, had veg and non veg patties, coconut macaroons and walnut fudge. Amazing coconut macaroons!

From my childhood till date, one of my favorite place to stepped in. During my childhood I usually visits to eat pastries and cake and till date the taste is same. Love this place.

I already knew that Kashmir is known for bakery but Jee Enn is another level, really enjoyed their savory and sweet stuff 😋 (They got not only traditional but international dessert too so highly recommend for both domestic and international visitors ;))
