I can give 3.5 star just because of the location but few improvements could really help them. Firstly they were not picking up phone when we were calling for getting information. In front they denied that any calls came. Secondly there is no room service for food or tea. Heaters close down in March,they don't provide after that. Rooms could have been more clean. We didn't complain but expected a better cleanliness from them. Its all due to tourist rush in kashmir. And this is the point where difference lies between an average property and good property. Location is good near dal lake.

I recently stayed at this hotel after being influenced by the positive reviews, but my experience left me with mixed feelings. I can't help but wonder if some of those reviews are paid or fake, as my stay did not live up to the expectations set by them. The bathrooms were consistently smelly, which was quite disappointing. Furthermore, the lack of smiling staff created a somewhat unwelcoming environment. It seemed like many of them were solely focused on receiving tips, which affected the overall atmosphere negatively. I believe genuine hospitality should come from the heart, not for monetary gain. On a positive note, I must acknowledge the hotel's location, which was conveniently close to Dal Lake. The beautiful views and proximity to the lake were the highlights of my stay. While the hotel has potential, there is room for improvement in terms of cleanliness and staff attitude. I hope the management takes feedback seriously and makes the necessary changes to ensure a better experience for future guests. As for now, I would suggest others to consider alternative options before booking here.

Pros: Clean rooms Good location Cons: Hotel has power backup issues. Nobody picks up call even at 7:30 in the morning when there is no power and no backup in such cold. As a tourist, you would like to get ready early, but without hot water and electricity, it's not possible. Also, don't book breakfast and dinner including packages as timings and menu is inflexible, even though there is no buffet. There are plenty of options within 100 mtrs. Don't book this hotel in winters if you are coming with your family. It's very annoying.

Excellent hotel and staff. Very clean and spacious rooms. They have AC to keep you warm during winters. Provide hot water 24*7. Location is just 2 mins walking from Dal lake Ghar 2. Good value for money hotel.

Stayed at Walisons in Srinagar for a night. The manger Sadiq Saab n his staff were extremely polite and friendly, took care if all the requirements. Room was spacious, clean and heating arrangements were very good. Excellent service overall. Thank you for making my stay pleasent and comfortable as a single female traveler 😊

Had a wonderful stay in this accommodation in Srinagar. Situated in a prime location ,just inside the lane opposite to Dal lake Ghat No 2, this hotel has beautiful double bed and family rooms. We stayed in a family room which was quite spacious. Huge washroom having a 20 litre geyser, ample water, western commode. The room has 2 king size bed and a separate area for any extra person i.e 4 plus 1. Electric kettle with tea coffee sachet, led tv, clean linen, clean towels,safe locker,mini fridge are there in the room. The accommodation also has an in-house restaurant which offers delicious foods. There is an auto rickshaw stand in front of the hotel. You can also reach the hotel easily from the airport. All the staffs are well-behaved, soft spoken and courteous. Check In and check out was smooth. ***Only suggestion : please provide a doormat in front of the washroom**** Highly recommended hotel for couples,families.

A nice hotel near Dal Lake, stayed in a family room with a group of friends, the room was quite spacious. The balcony offers a great view of snow covered mountains, and has adequate seating arrangements to have breakfast with a scenic view. The food and ambiance was good. The only issue I had was that hotel staff kept asking for tips every time. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. Had wonderful experience overall. Staff were courteous and helpful. Location and price were great. If I had to complain, food in restaurant (had lunch) can be improved. Due to its prime location, many good restaurants were nearby. Definitely recommended!

My wife and I stopped at this hotel during our motorcycle trip to Leh. It is situated on the Ghat 2 of Dal Lake and is a 5-minute walk from the lake. Our stay was lovely and the hotel owner was extremely kind. The hotel is picturesque with ample parking space and a charming garden at the front. We hope to return during the winter to witness its beauty. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Jammu.

I stayed here with family in Feb 23, overall it was a good experience, it is very close to Dal lake. We were provided with electric blankets and room heaters. The restaurant chef is really good, we had delicious food on both the days.

I stayed there for 3 nights, family room, 4800 rs. per night for 5 people. Location is amazing, service needs to be improved though. It's just opposite to Dal lake Ghat number 2. All the shopping shops are nearby. The rate is fine as per sri nagar rates. The room is very spacious and has 2 bathrooms as well. Overall I recommend this hotel stay.

Hotel is close to Dal lake which is the only good thing I can say. Rooms are spacious but the beds are done very shabby. Lots of hairs were found on the blanket and bed, had to get that replaced. The worst part is the staff there. For every small thing they ask for tips. Morning 8am they delivered tea asking where is my tips. I stayed at 4 other hotels across other towns in Kashmir didn't see that anywhere.

Stayed at Walisons hotel, Srinagar for 5 days with my family. The room service is super slow and pathetic. The staff is not at all welcoming. Even if you add buffet breakfast in your package, they give limited quantity of food with no other options. The worst part was nobody came to help us with our luggage when we were checking out. I would never recommend this hotel to anybody. The location is good but services and hospitality are not up to the mark.

This hotel is very clean and neat ,and the heater is also working fine in the night ,sometimes there is a powercut but it is manageable because the room is in warm state and the person sajad has helped us a lot for the cab arrangements with the lesser amount ..

This Hotel is one of the most popular hotels in Srinagar. Mr. Sajjad is very friendly person and takes care of guests like family. Their family room is very spacious with all the facilities. Hotel provides free parking,outdoor sitting,fast service. You can book this hotel,it’s family friendly. Will stay here if i visit Srinagar

Room size is big but it's location is not good. Geyser is there, so No 24 hr hot water supply. It is not on the main road from where we can see the dal lake. It's inside the street connected to main road and takes around 3 to 4 min to reach to ghat no 2. I believe, one should book the hotel on the main road of dal lake and preferring the ghat no from 7 to 15. Additionally, fixed breakfast menu with only limited options (only parantha, tea, coffee, egg and bread items).

Checked in at 12 noon and there was no power and no hot water till 3:30pm. After repeatedly following up with the staff, power was turned on at 3:30pm. Geyser is for name sake and while there is power everywhere in the city, this hotel will claim that there is power cut and so no hot water. Again when we returned back to the hotel late evening, there was no power and no hot water. Extremely annoying and disgusting service. Smelly and stinky bathroom. Washbasin was choking up everytime I washed my hands. Not at all worth the amount this hotel charges as it can't even cater to basic needs. Pls avoid staying here if you can.

We have just stayed at this hotel for 3 days. Its location is excellent. Rooms are nice with all amenities . Room service is good. The restaurant is good, especially the services of Rafiq mir and Rafiq . Chef Munjoor needs special mention for his cooking.

Loved the ambience, staff and the manager sajad was nice host.. the place is a serene delight to eyes and soul. The peace it provides to the soul is unprecedented and the property is well maintained with all the basic amenities and good in house food. This is an amazing property and would recommend anyone seeking break from daily chaos to spend few days here.

We stayed here just for a night but it was a memorable experience. The location is good with 2 mins walk from Dal lake which is scenic in evening. Mr. Sofi who oversees the management is an excellent host. He not only was engaging regularly to ensure the food serving was proper at all times but also helped us do some local shopping. The staff is warm. Recommended

This hotel has a beautiful concept from the outside along with a comfortable interior on the inside. We were a large group of 9 pax so we booked their family rooms. The rooms were spacious and clean. Each room has a heater which warmed us all especially since it is currently winter season. They also have Smart TV where you can watch your netflix movies or shows. The staff were very friendly as they tried their best to satisfy our demands. Their breakfast set was good too. However, electricity gets cut off at night for an hour or two but there is generator supply for backup. Overall, we had a great time. You can try it out too!!!
