We checked in on wed 23 Feb 2022 had reservation via oyo. 1)There was no hot water for bath so we requested. firstly they said it will arrive in 20min to 30mins but it didn't so we called reception. Guy named TAHER came to check but hot water was unavailable, so we requested him to provide us water bucket of water firstly he rejected to provide ous after some time he started arguing with ous on that topic and afterwards started yelling to leave & checkout from hotel. pathetic experience of Oyo room at Hotel Saffron. 2) Towels provided were not clean, Tored & unhygienic. 3) No soap, shampoo in bathroom. broken toilet spray gun holder 4)No electricity one whole night and proper power backup. Caution: photos shown are old kindly don't refer them and visit blindly you may end trip with terrible experience.

Kashmir Worst place to stay... Staff is not good and behaviour how to treat with customer and specially Ledies ... Restaurant is just a establishment no food available. Food quality is worst, No menu card, property said its 4 star property but I don't think they deserve a single star...which is even worst. Please do not stay with your family I faced to many problems.... 1. To much waiting for towels for frist day to take refreshments ( it's almost 1 hrs) 2. Electricity issue, no proper power backup available in this, everyday you take dinner in your mobile torch. 3. Food serv like we serv food to dog. 4. No food quality. 5. No Staff in restaurant. 6. To much waiting for food. 7. Sweet are not available in your dish. 8. No hot water for bathing. ( Even if you complain to Staff they are arrogantly treat with customer) Please please please avoid this hotel otherwise your trip will terrible. #World worst hotel#

Good rooms and service at reasonable price. Staff is polite. Anybody visiting Kashmir must stay in this hotel. Location is good. Easily accessible to airport and Dal lake.

We stayed here for 3 nights 4 days & our stay was pleasant ☺️ Staff was helping, polite & humble 😀 but yes there are some problems are there like no water is available in morning also staff knows this regular problem but they ignore to answer customer's 😡 which is not at all acceptable 👎 Clean rooms & washrooms, provide coffee maker, toiletries, tv etc. Hotel does not have view 🗻 as it's surrounded by building's around & in some residential area lane Food quality was good 😊 👍 & delicious 😋 also on request they prepare food as per your wish 👌 Our stay was pleasant 😊

Beware Caution with the hotel manager. We had booked 2 rooms with goibibo but at check inn time they said we did not get any booking in your name you contact goibibo... They know that our phones will not work in Kashmir. They gave us 1 room with a price of 2 rooms with breakfast and dinner but as we were going to check out early in the morning they said we will pack the food but nothing was there in the morning, The manager changed from his words so don't trust at all. Dinner time was 8.30 but till 9 nothing was ready and food was pathetic with very few items. Rooms were big but the bathroom door was not able to close and the flush was not working. Location. Very inside from the road, difficult to find. In short the worst stay. Would never prefer to stay here.

Please DO NOT book this hotel if you want a peaceful stay. My family had booked a stay 1 month in advance. The hotel & OYO had confirmed our booking. The hotel CANCELLED our booking at 7 AM on the day of our stay. We had to find other accommodation and make changes to our travel plan on the day of our stay. Behavior like this creates unnecessary risk and safety concerns and stresses your family during their time of vacation. Don't fall for their prices and photos, rather book a more trusted hotel.

Hi..This is khushbu Thakkar here from Ahmedabad I visited the Saffron hotel at 1st February 2022 with my family and friends. The Rooms were so neat and clean and room Services were so fast and good. About the food no idea because we have Gujarat cook so he was made a meal for us. All the staff were very friendly and helpful with the guests..they were ready to help everytime...we were facing some issues in hotel like doar lock issue..light issue but it's ok...but I like that hotel & interior also ...When in life may be I will go second time in shreenagar I will surely stay in this hotel..Must visit!!

World class facilities available and very professional in hotel line. Fully satisfied with the services. It’s an amazing property !! Worth visiting once in lifetime!! Superb ambience, hospitability , and staff is really very courteous ! The view from the hotel is absolutely stunning and it’s location is perfect!! Enjoyed every bit!!

1. Food - Substandard Not much varieties are available. First day dinner was veg biryani (super dry & cold), paneer burji, chicken curry (chicken, salt, turmeric, water), super hard roti, kheer (saving grace). Breakfast was even pathetic. Egg, maggi (yeah maggi) and bread! That's it! 2. Reception - There was no one at reception! Had to wait for 10 mins for someone to come so that I could checkout! 3. Room - Dark and shady rooms. Corridors are not lit properly and when asked they say it's like that. The hotel is getting remodeled or something, because it's all old. Jacuzzi in the bathroom doesn't work! There were no towels in the room! There was no complimentary water given in the enterity of the stay. No one came to make the room after a day! The management has no clue how to run a hotel! They no nothing about hospitality industry and this is worst place I have stayed after paying a premium!!

the number at hotel is of oyo the saffron has no tie up with any online booking platform i booked via oyo and agoda and they denied the booking oyo even verified the booking without checking with hotel

Worst place to stay 1. No hot water in bathroom (if asked for hot water they’ll give some reasons and talk arrogantly). 2. Broken bathroom fittings. 3. Torn towels. 4. Arrogant staff/manager 5. power cuts, no power backup.

Nice, neat and clean 👌, 4 star hotel with dine in restaurant. Services great. Staffs are courteous...location is near to main road but to reach u have to follow Google, little bit confusing. We reach without any hassle.

Third class hotel. Zero service. Manager Tahir is the worst person who is ruining this property. No electricity. No proper room service. Not even a single star hotel. Please please avoid this third class saffron hotel. We regret we stayed in this bakwaas lodge.

The hotel claims that it is on 4 star standards but it is actually a 2 star hotel. Just getting the interiors done nicely doesn't qualify the hotel as 4 star, the services have to bebas such. The amneties in the room and toilet does not make it of 4 star standards. If they would have claimed themselves as a 2 or 3 star hotel, I would have given them a better rating.y

Neet and clean hotel. four star only because less area and because of location

It's a new hotel in a plush location good interiors and really sweet staff and that's abt it nothing more to rave abt this hotel ..The washroom drawer was broken, the tub leaked and there were bugs in the washroom .Now coming to the food there were two things in the breakfast menu really bad Paratha and bread and eggs that's it ..bad tea is served. only if u are ready to pay they give u good tea and food from the restaurant..pls avoid this hotel if your tour agent gives u this option ...

Hotel saffron is very good property. Staff is nice. The only problem is food. Food quality is medium. Plates and crockery is not clean. I think they just put the crockery in a water bucket and and keep them on dinning table without cleaning.

I stayed in this hotel for 2 days recently but experienced a very bad experience as when power supply went, no generator was started, a lot of suffocation became inside the room as there was no fan provided & all windows were fixed, very poor planning of ventilation. There were mosquitoes and flies inside room. Exhaust fan in bathroom was too noisy. Wooden frame of windows was eaten by ants. Walls were giving ugly look due to poor paint finish. Frezzer compartment in fridge was not making ice. Only half litre bottle of water was served only for 2 pax but they demanded extra charge for 3rd bottle for a paid 3rd pax. Lastly food was tasteless, paranthas were served cold and cutlery was not cleaned properly and hygenically as we had complimentary B fast and dinner but we took dinner outside on second night. For food quality I have never ever experienced such a worst, tasteless food. Even food on house boat was much better than this

Staff is very good, I like the room setup and clean. Chef prepared roghan chicken on our request which was best of the taste. I recommend to visit and stay
