Location is great. Exteriors are quite professional but interior (read : cleanliness) is pathetic. I have stayed in hotels with price ranging from Rs500 to Rs50000 per night. But our room had the one of the worst bathrooms amongst them all. Even cleaning by housekeeping was quite poor. The good thing was that after complaining at least they cleaned a bit. But still my kids just didn't have a bath even after that. So certainly not the best choice to go to if with your family.

This hotel is located on Dal Lake, and it has the view of Dal Lake as well as the snow-covered mountains. I loved the view from my room. They initially gave us a room with a back view cause it was last-minute booking, but I asked, and they changed it a better view room, and we loved it. Central heating, tea cattle, extra heater if needed, hot water, and king-size bed, they had all the amenities. I think the bed mattress could have been a little better, but overall, everything was perfect. Worth the price.

Place was neat..reception is beautiful. Can get good pics. View will b dal lake. Lift and buffet facility is there..fair enough buffet for the money..but there are many food restaurants outside also. If travelling with kids better to opt for buffet food. Service was very responsive. Rooms were a bit old and not very spacious. Overall good

Perfect place to observe your stay. Great location. Calm ambience. Very good staff. Value for money. A balcony too is an option with the room to sit out and enjoy the mother nature, takes the guest more closer to what you want to see and had been travelling all the way to see. Washrooms are also clean and tidy, which is though another factor of worry for travellers while looking for stay options.

This was my first trip to Kashmir and I’ll never stay anywhere else but here. I didn’t even want to leave. I was able to extend my stay one more day and the welcome hotel all fees for an extra night. The food was outstanding! Overall just an amazing experience.

We stayed at this hotel during May and had one of the worst experiences. For the price we booked we could have got a luxury hotel but we chose this due to its location near dal lake. Whatever it advertises is fake. The rooms are dirty. Bathroom smells and has leaky basins. Room service is awful. Our bed had stains. When I asked the room service to change the sheets and pillow covers, room service guy started arguing for 10 minutes as to why the stains were from the chemicals they use for washing and not from previous guests. I travel a lot and have stayed in numerous hotels. But this one blew my mind on how someone can arrange a room for tourists that smells and has dirt and dust all over the place. Its disgusting.

Housekeeping was really polite made my trip really nice ready to help. Other staff was also helpful with other stuff too. Regular cleaning easily available no matter what time it is. It was really a wonderful experience for a person or couple. Ambience was nice room were clean.

My personal experience is very good. Im very impressed with the hospitality of the hotel. When ever you book car they come within 10 minutes of booking because the hotel is in very good location. Food is also good both veg and non-veg. In this corona days the staff of the hotel is fully hygenic and sanitized fully hotel. In short i can say that its a very good hotel. Everyone must try.

The Welcome hotel location is very good. just opposte Dal Lake, Srinagar. We stayed 2 nights and paid Rs 7.5/night including breakfast/dinner. They did not provide any buffet dinner, only can choose 3 food items from menu for main course which is not right considering per night rates. The room is very good with centralized heating, overlooking Dal Lake.

Good for stay here, also good environment, very easy location, near the main market. They have good hospitality, manager was a nice person & helpful. They provide us good food, as like home made food. Very nice hotel with all amenities. Clean environment. Good and helpful management team.

A memorable stay with welcome hotel dallake! This is the first time with welcome hotel (we try all big shot properties), and the service was super super great. Starting from reception to hotel, everything was perfect! The managers and waiters at restaurant made sure they reach out to you for feedback twice or thrice during every meal.

I had stayed in the hotel for 3 days in july. It was a wonderful experience there ,the staff members were very polite, Nice and kind especially Mr Mumtaz He is really Kind person always ready to help. Room was clean and standard service was good . Highly recommended

I visit Srinagar in August 2023, hotel is situated on the bank of DAL beautiful location. Rooms are spacious but needed AC. Food was excellent, Service was excellent. I would like to thank Mr. Sahil who have take care us in each aspect. Thanks welcome and Sahil

Stay here for location. Bang opposite Dal Lake and on main boulevard road. The hotel is quiet old and hence rooms will feel old too. There are no ACs ok in the hotel. Service is okish. We had breakfast a couple of times there and found it very average. Looking at Kashmir's hotel prices this can be a good mid range option if you want to stay opposite Dal Lake.

The only good thing about this place was the location. Bad rooms , no service and I felt cheated. Don’t book this place

Amazing hotel, perfect view and location as it is next to dal lake. Evening market starts as son as you step out of the hotel. Very interesting market. Quick service. We had very comfortable stay as we were traveling with 2 kids and an elderly. Some very nice restaurant are nearby which I would say are "must try" Stream, Bistro Boulevard by Pincer Foods,

The best part is it's just a stone throw away distance from the airport. Rooms are really good, well maintained and nicely ventilated. The quality of food is also very good. The staff are highly courteous and if you are looking out for a comfortable stay with a not so high budget, certainly this is a wonderful place to stay.

You can get all essentials from shops just outside hotel. Hotel staff is really nice and food is really amazing. Hotel staff helped a lot and gave us very good service. At every point he took care of us and gave us every information needed.

The hotel is located on dal lake street. Location wise its best. Shopping is also available near by. Easy access to shikara rides. But service is not good, you need to call several times for anything. Breakfast Buffet was made available to us which was pretty good. Overall experience was good . Recommended to other's. But definitely not going to repeat.

Location is prime and would like to give it 5 stars for it. But but but the room which I got was not that clean as they claim of being 3 star hotel. Bathroom was also not clean. Wet area of bathroom was frequently getting clogged while bathing. Service was good though. So overall I would review it as a 2 star hotel.

The place is located at a prime location. The rooms are good and furnished well. Food was nice and so is the restaurant. A mid-range hotel around 6k per Night. However the maintenance was not great. Eg. Cleanliness was not great, regular water provided was yellowish, towel not provided (had to ask). Also, the responsiveness of staff not at par with similar category hotel.

Stay was really good, very cooperative staff and clean rooms. Breakfast options are limited and quality should be improved along with the service. But overall it's good hotel and maintained properly. If you are planning to travel with family just go for it, don't come in trap of other hotels nearby as most of them show old pictures maintenance is zero.

I was stayed for 3 nights. It is a nice hotel, ambience was too good, food as quality wise and quantity wise good, rooms were spacious with all modern amenities. The location was also great. More of all the staffs were well trained, very friendly and well behaved. Hope to visit this place again in my next visit.

Hi, this is a feedback for Welcome hotel in Srinagar near Dal Lake. I was most impressed with the manager, Masroor. He made our stay very comfortable and helped us out with a couple of difficult situations as well. The room was spacious, clean, well lit and well heated. I would highly recommend that you stay here but make sure it is the Dal lake branch. We definitely would 👍

Central heating and hot water : 2 things you would be highly needing in winters in kashmir this hotel provided both.We stayed in this beautiful hotel for 4 nights. Initially we were not very sure because it was our first time in Kashmir. But once we entered the hotel, the experience we had was mesmerizing. The rooms are clean. The staff extremely courteous. The facilities are splendid Each room is spacious and has a double bed with space for a extra mattress if required.

Hotel located at good place with dal lake view. Rooms are awesome with 24hr light backup & heater. Staffs are quite supportive & helpful for all facilities like renting cab for airport as well as for other locations. Food is good for non-vegetarian. So you can book the room blindly. Rooms are as expected in Google photos

An unbelievable experience . Each and every moment was magical, the memories of which will be cherished for the lifetime. The interior and architecture of the palace is mind blowing. The rooms are quite comfortable with a view. The staff is very welcoming and sweet , they made sure everything was comfortable right from check in to check out.The service might get slow at times.
