Our stay at Hotel Star of Kashmir was an absolute delight. The staff's polite and warm nature made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The food quality was exceptional, and the helpfulness of the entire team was commendable. The hotel's convenient location near Srinagar Airport was a great advantage for exploring the area easily. Overall, it was a memorable experience filled with tranquility and excellent hospitality. Highly recommended!

The hotel is located at a very good location. It's near a flyover and many shops are there in the vicinity including medical shops. There are two shops ahead of flyover which stay open late at night so you can go there to buy commodities. The rooms of the hotels are small. I found that the rooms are not cleaned regularly. But they are quite clean for you not to stay. Service is good. They respond quickly on a phone call. Food served is good in taste and quality as well. Staff is also good.

If you wish to stay at this hotel then think twice. We visited in winter atleast we expected hot water in the morning to take bath before catching our flight.There was no hot water. Any hotel will provide basic amenities like towel and soaps but here you will not find it.We booked the hotel through Oyo when we contacted property they refused the booking saying rates have been changed and as its peak time for tourism we can't offer room at the same price. Can you imagine you planning a trip and at the last moment they refusing it. Whatever matter it should be handled through Oyo and property without giving a shock to guests.Not to ruin our trip we paid extra amount to the property still in return we got no basic facilities which you can get in any cheap hotels too. Please don't spoil your trip by staying at this hotel.

Hotel and service staff was very good. Rooms were perfectly clean and comfy. Hot water service was available 24/7. Room heating facilities was top notch. Staff and management was also very polite and responsive. It was my best stay in sri nagar highly recommended.

Good location with lots of free parking, and very low accommodation prices for Srinagar tourists. The rooms are large, spacious and above all clean. There is a little bit of traffic noise during the week but still not too much so the hotel is pretty quiet. Breakfast and Dinner are rich and delicious, in the lobby of the hotel, there is a small restaurant where finger food can be taken. Umar, Zahid, and Wasim are the most recommendable person and very helpful throughout our journey

The rooms were neat and comfortable. The attitude of the receptionist was very disappointing. My money was valued more than myself. I'm glad that I met the owner of the Hotel, who knew how to serve customers. What good is a ruler without sensible commanders.

We were a group of 4 friends looking for a budget stay close to the highway. We found this hotel on google and called them up minutes before reaching there. The man at the reception was really very very cunning and he just tried to betray us by charging more and playing with his words. He charged us more for stay, he then charged us more for the taxi to the airport. We had to literally argue with him. Hotel rooms were ok, but he overcharged us than what it was showing online, he just took advantage of our necessity since our flight had cancelled and there was heavy snowfall and rains, and this hotel is just 4 kms away from airport so we had to go here. Rooms were ok for budget type stay. The other guest around our room were making a lot of noise and it was a big big irritation to us. Their service guys also asked for money from us as tip, I was in Kashmir for 7 days before I was here, the people in entire kashmir were so good and warm, but the people at this hotel weren't the same. Really disappointed.

Very old hotel. No central heating system. Heat blankets are old and dont give sufficient heat. No lift. 24 hrs hot water. Not a good locality to stay.

Exterior of the hotel is amazing, but interiors disappoint. It is very, very far off from the city center and various sight seeing locations, but very near to the airport. They did call for cab pick up to the airport early in the morning at 7:15 which was very helpful. I stayed only overnight in this hotel, just because of the proximity to the airport.

Bad experience... Our agency "Clanstays Pvt ltd" book this hotel for us for 1 night. We booked deluxe room during booking. They provided simple room during our trip. Pillow and blanket was not good, it's smelled badly. Room was also not clean. Food was also not good.

Awful experience. Rooms are smelly and congested. Owner has an awful attitude and starts screaming if we tell him any issues. Smelly and stained sheets and pillows. Uncleaned rooms. Worst experience in Kashmir trip, this is the worst hotel to stay . The hotel staffs have very bad attitude towards the tourists. They serve you stale and cold food with a very high price which is not worthy at all. The owner is having a attitude like 'it's okay if you suffer '.Very congested rooms and bathrooms and also very unhygienic. The windows and doors can not be closed properly. I don't know how the hotel is a 3 star hotel.

Overall experience is good. The hotel owner is great with customer. We talked with her for our queries and it were resolved quickly. Staff is decent. Depending on the room view can be good or okay. Wifi is available in every corner of the hotel. Bathrooms are good. Rooms can be vary from okay to great.

The nature of receptionist is bit awkward like you might not like the way he answers and talk. The owner of the hotel is very very generous you can talk to her about any inconvenience and she'll do best possible to treat you with goodness. The quality of food is best I can say. The worst hotel I’ve never seen before in my life. We 27 people stayed there for 2 days (2&3 May’ 23), room service is worst, stinking towels, bed sheets were dirty. Restaurant was like hale. Unhygienic food. They don’t use dish washing bar or liquid to clean utensils. All the dishes, bowls, spoons & tea cups are sticky oily and dirty. Out of our 27 people 19 people felt sick with vomiting & loose motion. I’ll ever recommend this hotel.

It is 1.5* only. No lift, so not advisable for elder people. Mineral water on demand. After dinner you have to take the plates and leave it in the wash basket, They may ask you to clean the tables in future also. TV will not work boz of insufficient balance.

At first point, I would say me and my family reached this hotel at 1:52 a.m. and I appreciate this hotel's pickup driver, who reached us this hotel and no hotel would serve dinner at 2:15 a.m. Quality and quantity of dinner is just 😋👌🏻 And here's dinner time starts at 8:30 p.m Here morning breakfast starts at 7:30 a.m I just say please visit here this hotel just 👌🏻🙂😁☺️ And this hotel had a cars facility which helps you to travel So my opinion is....... We have great experience with hotel star of Kashmir. We were happy with hotel services. All basic facilities were provided to us. Food was good and tasty. Hotel staff very nice especially Shokat and Wasim and overall staff is good. We will recomend you will stay there.

Nice service, taste, hospitality. We enjoyed a lot here with on time meals and packing for the way. Everything we asked for was made available at any time (excluding odd hours). Locality - Al baik at hotel, Al hayder shopping complex towards left and sweets shop, restaurants, other shops towards right at walking distance of within 1-2 km. Suggestions - 1. One kettle should be there in every room for more ease of having warm water for drinking. 2. Not important in every case but try to keep smart tv in every room as we have to return everyday before 7pm due to closure of shops and all streets food around 6.30pm to 7pm so best option left is to see pics of all day or watch TV.

The hotel is really good providing you with a bunch of amenities. Their location is just next to the main road, so easily accessible. Their cafeteria is excellent having a buffet system.

Excellent service, hygienic rooms and bathrooms, very good foods and last but not the least staffs are very kind and well behaved.

Staff was very helpful however not worth at all basis of the charges per day. Paid 3.5k per day although it's not worth more than 1.5k. They charged us more due to our issue of flight cancellations. No heater in the room rather on bed. Heating not available anywhere, neither in Dining nor in lobby. Gets chilly and depressing in winters. Had no choice but to stay here as our flight got cancelled along with 41 other flights due to heavy snowfall hence most of the Airport nearby properties were full. Pretty small property with zero scope to do anything.

The one star that I'm giving goes solely to the food. Otherwise our room was small, untidy, dirty, no heater, just a small blower that too was taken away at night, dirty pillows and stained towels. Very poor hospitality. We were told to switch off the blower and electric blanket at night which we did, yet a person knocked at our door at 10.30 pm to take the blower back. The 3 star that the google shows is totally incorrect. It is a 2 star hotel. Wouldn't recommend to families looking for a 3 star property. You'll get fooled.

This hotel is really star and staff who are working there including manager are double star, Mr Arif and Nazir special thanks to you for making my stay so wonderful and this people are really great in their work and responsibilities. Rooms: Neither windows can be closed nor washroom doors. The owner is too reluctant to listen to that complain. Service: 0/5 star. If complained about any service, owner has the audacity to stay that they go full occupied and no one ever complains. Food : They force customer to eat their buffet for dinner. If denied and asked for menu.. They will write menu in a paper with surge price. Above that after paying alot of money for simple dinner, the food would be stale and no one would bother to listen you as well. Location : Too far from main city. 0/5 Worst experience overall.
