The hotel is decent with clean rooms and amenities . However the food quality is very bad super oily food with full of spices. The location is in a dead lane The worst part is customer experience and management behaviour. The staff was repeatedly mishandling the luggage by lifting the suitcase from the dragging handles Eventually they broke the handle for one of the suitcases. When we asked them to reimburse they started fighting and told we won’t even repair the suitcase now please take it Not in the mood to spoil our trip we left clearing our bills They were greedy enough to get all the bills and not even offer a discount for the luggage they broke Beware

Absolute pathetic experience with worst service and hospitality. They treated us as if we have landed from Mars and don't belong to this planet. Behaviour and attitude of the entire staff was absolutely cold ..Did not serve pfood even, asked us to have outside as they have a corp large booking. Guys they are not interested in serving and catering to individual people kindly do not book or even think of staying with them.

The room was disgusting! Very dirty. You could see foot prints on the floor where other people walked! It looked as though it had not been swept in a very long time! The bathroom was stinking. There were no proper provision of water bottle in the rooms. Sleepy service, poor food quality, and when we asked for bottle of water, they said its chargeable after even being staying in the hotel for a day

Very comfortable room with heating (especially during the winters) and the staff is very cordial and friendly and help you with whatever you request for. The washroom felt a little too small but other that, everything was wonderful. The view outside the room was literally nothing as the room windows were covered. But, the overall experience was very comfortable and definitely recommended.

One of the highlights of my Srinagar trip was this hotel. The location, the neighbourhood, the staff, the authenticity in the architecture of this hotel is what makes it an amazing choice for a stay. Staff is very respectful and helpful!! (I was reading a few reviews mentioning how warm water services are for a limited time, which is true. But I would like to add something.... Try to understand where you've gone for the trip, you guys are not in cities like Mumbai or Delhi. Moreover, I feel like... to get the actual taste of the culture of where you've decided to go for the trip, we must mould ourselves a bit and function the way that place does.)

It's a big hotel with some spacious rooms. Stayed there for two days. The food quality is okay and the restaurant staff are polite. There was water leakage in the washroom of the room, that was attended quickly. But housekeeping is not up to mark with no complimentary water bottle and delayed response every time.

pathetic service and breakfast - They have charged Rs 20000 for 2 rooms for 1 night and service is terribble, It is overpriced and room size is too small. There is no electricity and you can not use Air conditioner on genset which means no fans and you cant open window in room # 107. I have spoken to manager Bashir but they are not ready to upgrade my room or provide AC back up. Please dont waste your money by booking this property.

The staff is impolite especially the restaurant staff. The breakfast is just okay and very limited variety. The quality of the food is average, I would say. Potato in aloo capsicum curry during dinner had clearly visible green/black spots on it, roti and naan is either uncooked or burnt partially/wholly. The welcome drink served is maaza but they call it 'juice'. We were expecting apple juice in Srinagar! The hotel looks clean but is unhygienic. Saw a cockroach in the bathroom and a house shrew in the lounge area after dinner the other night. The shower system is designed irrationally. The water drips on the toilet seat and that is why it needs to be wiped every time after shower. Also, toilet paper needs to be removed before shower otherwise gets all soaked up and not useful. The towels in the bathroom are very old and has oily patches on it. The linen and bedsheets in the rooms are the same. Soap and shampoo provided but you will have to get your own toothpaste, toothbrush, and hair oil unlike other hotels. The rooms are not well-ventilated too. Not co-operative staff when catering to the individual requirements such as timely breakfast so we can head down for sightseeing. When we wanted to check out on time to leave for sightseeing, the room service with trolley did not turn up so we manually lifted all the luggage from the rooms to our vehicle, and the hotel staff seemed totally unboothered about it. Upon checkout, we requested for 1 water bottle per room (booked 5 rooms for 10 persons) but were asked to pay for it. That was extremely rude and disappointing experience because of 1)the price is 15 rs per bottle, we were asked to pay 20rs per bottle 2)we checked out a day earlier without even asking for a refund soon after breakfast but denied an ordinary water bottle and we have family members travelling with us. I wonder if they are aware of what is good hospitality, when other hotels offer complimentary check-out gifts and Clarks Inn denied us water!! Overall not recommended if you are looking forward to an enjoyable trip. The customer service experience here has actually spoiled our holiday mood so better you skip your stay here and find some better hotels with better hospitality and scenic views.

I had my booking through ease my trip for deluxe category , the room was okay but the bathroom was extremely small, infact so small that you have to sit on pot for taking the shower. The manager told us this is the room eithertake it or leave it. The behaviour of the manager Mr Khan was very rude and no where close to a professional. It's an old property in a residential area, would not recommend to any one.

Clarks Inn Restaurant is really good. Tasty food, fast and cordial service. Hotel in itself is good. Location is convenient from a tourism perspective. Staff members are kind and friendly.

great ambience, excellent hospitality, nice and comfortable rooms...... Room service response was also good and food was tasty.... The prices may differ while booking from some other Apps as compared to direct booking, so better to compare, check the room pictures and the amenities list......

We stayed there for 3 nights. They had an amazing hospitality. From room service, the food to the housekeeping, everything was done very well. The staff was very swift with their actions in case anything was required by us. Special thanks to Mr Saqib, Mr Zakir, Mr Nadeem & Mr Sageer for the great service. Hot water was available all the time and the beddings were very comfortable. Looking forward to stay here again the next time we visit Srinagar!

Best service and behavior An outstanding experience! The service at this 5 star hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff's impeccable behavior, attentiveness, and genuine warmth made my stay truly memorable. Highly recommended for those seeking top-notch service and exceptional hospitality.

We stayed there for one night in family suit. The room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel staff is very warm and welcoming. Spl thanks to Mr Aadil, Mr Aabid and Mr. Hilaal. The restaurant service is also good. Although the food spread is pretty limited but still the food is good. The only shortfall (negative point ) is that the Car Parking space is very less. If 3 cars are parked inside the hotel premises then there is no space for the 4th car to park inside the hotel and one needs to park his/her car out on the main road. Overall I would rate this Hotel 4.7/5 . Giving 0.3 points less for the limited Car parking space. But one must definitely stay in this hotel once.

Booked 4 rooms for a night, one room was without window and stinking of smoke, all the rooms were extra small size with almost non-existent windows. There was power cut at night and one of the rooms( where I was staying) AC or fan didn’t work on power backup. I called up reception at around 4 AM and they said electricity will come soon !!!! Booked thinking it is a Clark’s Inn hotel so basic amenities shall be taken care of, but was mistaken.. wouldn’t recommend to anyone!!

Beware, the bed linens would be used ones but they would look clean and even when you ask to change they would reply "it's just been changed sir". Half the time there's no electricity and hot water in the bathroom is available only couple of hours during day and evening. Enjoy to stay!

Located in a quite corner. Away from everything. At night not safe to go out of the hotel. Rooms are small but clean and carpeted. The reception hall is extraordinary. It is posh and there is seating arrangements for great pictures.

Below average upkeep - right from the walls, to the bathrooms. The hot water wasn’t working when we came to the hotel in the evening. The only good part was the food. I loved the veg Biriyani.

Rooms are good and clean, but my experience with food was worst, i have ordered chicken curry with rotis for dinner, it spoiled my health and ruined my entire day in my trip. suffered from severe vomitings and diarrhea. i have no complains regarding room service and hotel, everything is decent.

Stayed for 3 days , amazing hospitality. Rooms are well maintained and housekeeping staff is very supportive and swift action is rendered. A decent spread of breakfast and well maintained property. Thank you staff for making it a memorable stay.

It is a good hotel. I booked 2 rooms and stayed here for 2 nights in January with my family. The rooms were clean and warm when needed at freezing temperatures outside. Front desk was polite and helpful. Restaurant service was very very slow. I would decrease 1 ⭐️ for the same.

Fabulous stay at one of the premier hotels in Srinagar. The rooms were nice and cozy along with a great support staff who handled my requests efficiently. My flight got cancelled on the way back so had to rebook the hotel and it was done without any hassles. Amazing food and a cozy ambience along with a great staff makes this place a must for your stay

A few friends stayed at the hotel. The rooms are nice and have everything what you'd expect from a modern decor. The hotel is small and doesn't have much going on. It's at a residential location and doesn't have any rooms with good views. Price is on the higher end considering the location. The biggest issue the that there are 20+ stray dogs just outside the hotel who don't really welcome visitors. Hope they could get rid of the street dog issue.

The experience was a disaster right from I tried to intimate the hotel regarding 2 extra beds(a dozen days before my travel) to J&K.

I had to speak to number of executives and write emails marked to multiple people , the most hassling experience I had during my entire trip to just add 2 extra occupancies .

The hotel experience was no way close to a 3 or a 4 star. The staff is busy making money (either pocketing the proceeds or as instructed by the owner) as they charge all extras in pure cash when the country is moving towards digital payments.
The hotel is perhaps a franchisee of Clarks Inn coz and they have their own rules to run the place.

Availability of hot water is at hotel’s whims, cockroaches in rooms and no hair dryer are just some of the few discrepancies that you have to embrace.

It’s good 3 star category hotel. I would say way better if you’ll compare to other hotels in same range and category. Rooms were good, breakfast could have been better.

Stayed here for 2 nights, no pros here. Deluxe rooms are a waste. They don't have ventilation, washroom is a joke. Washroom are more like mini version of washroom. Extra charges for children is too high, 1400 per child. Deluxe room don't have space to put extra bed so that charge is more like for food. The limited breakfast options doesn't justify the high charges. Location is not on main road.

Please don’t go by the pictures on google The hotels claims to be a 4 star but the rooms are average. The bathroom had a bad stench , bathroom fittings were loose, to top it all the food taste and quality is below 4 star standards. The hotel owner called us at 11pm and harassed us to pay bills on the second day of our 3 nights stay. Saw a rat running around in the lobby. Very disappointing, uncomfortable and frustrating stay at the hotel.

Rooms were good, good hospitality, nice staff. But it’s location is really not good, it’s far from market place and you can’t even take a walk around. Let this hotel be the last option if you don’t find any good place in city centre market place.

  • 3/5 Aakarsh A. 2 years ago on Google
It was located real close to the airport and kind of in the center of the whole city as all the tourist points and markets were no more than 2 km. The hotel manager was courteous and the rooms were good, but the wifi system was very very irritating, you had to ask for an OTP from the reception every time you go out of the hotel door for every single device... In my 3 day stay, I had to ask for almost 25-30 times. The food taste was good and menus were different every day. At times the food wasn't hot but they improved it after we told them to once but the food service was not up to the mark at all... They took so much time in serving bread and food. Overall, there was hot water and electricity all the time except a few times so it was fine as they had a generator. So maybe in summers, it would be excellent but in winters food service and warmth are a bit of a problem but it is a good option for a short stay.

The Hotel property is really good, 4 star for the Ambience Food quality is very nice however I had very bad experience regarding drinking water. The drinking water hear is very impure found solids in my water jar. You have to bye package water for drinking. That too at 30 rs per 750 ml.
