Gulzar the son of owner, Sell his diner to you, expensive food. You can go out and get good quality food. We hired them to take us to Leh. But we had to wait half a day because they were busy. We wondered why Gulzar went with us. Just having a car and a driver is enough. We were very disappointed. We stayed 3 nights but didn't go to the floating market in the morning. because he postponed the day until we missed it

Best houseboat I have seen in Srinagar. As they help us to explore the City really well as they give Shikara Boat with excellent food service.They are so cooperative and make you feel comfortable as your home. The property have best view which also helps to get best pictures & videos.This is best budget friendly houseboat with excellent service.

Gulzar bhai aur manzoor bhai s/o gulaam bhai ka boat house bahut hi acha hai. Service is so hospitality and they have shown us a very good view of Dal Lake,shikara ride and Boat house. These gus are so helpful in Srinagar. Best Place to stayin srinagar is at Gulzar,Manzoor bhai ka "Moon of Kashmir" House Boat. Best thing is They have own transport. Not expected this house boat to be like this, the Gulzar the owner is a cheap person, Sell his own stuff to you, expensive food in the boat with not so good taste, you can go out and get good quality food. Some time room have bad smells, Lights have major issue, and hot water is not available. Room was bad with no basic need of electricity as the light is always out and inverter is not good

Stayed here for 1 night with my husband and our experience was awesome. This boat is not located in cr owded location. You'll enjoy your stay here. Food quality is also good. Service is amazing.

It was nice staying here. The boat is well maintained. And the place is quite and peaceful. Not in a crowded place, so we received all the privacy we need. Also very warm hospitality. Totally recommend 😊

The family is very nice. Their treat is exceptional. The food is so delicious and very good. The hospitality also was very good. Uncle give us tips for every place we go so that we not being scam.

The warmth and generosity of the family is exceptional. They cared for me when I was sick, taking me to the hospital and looking after my every need. As a solo female traveller I felt extremely safe staying on the Moon of Kashmir. Fantastic ambience, facilities and food. Can't wait to visit again!

Awesome experience. The owner Gulzar Bhai is a very helpful and kind hearted man. Food quality was good, home cooked fresh foods. Highly recommended for couples, family as well as solo travelers. Houseboat interiors are very good.

It's a good place to stay. They provided shikara for site seeing in the Dal lake. Enjoyed tasty, homely , kashmiri food , served by Gulzar bhai and family. He arranged taxi for us to go Pahalgam, and Ladakh. That was a comfortable trip becoz the taxi driver was familiar with the route and there were no difficulties in between.

We had a great stay there ! Enjoyed their over friendliness … but these folks are betrayers of the Nation big time … calling India bad and PM and Indian govt as terrorist during the ICC World Cup 2022 when Pakistan lost the finals !! It’s sad how they take all advantages of staying in India , getting Indian clients and earning hefty and then commenting like this ! They don’t deserve being treated well ! Am sad and disappointed !

It was my frist trip to Kashmir as new place. We have got recommendation from my famity freind (Priti Singh) .It was our first experience to stay in house boat. The stay is more aesthetic and comfortable. The hosting provided is really awesome. Must visit place and room in Kashmir.

We have been on this boat house for couple of days, caretaker Manjar is good person but his brother Gulzar, stay away from him or don't communicate at all, he lies and try to extract money as much as he can, he charged 6700 for Pahalgam cab just for pick and drop (1 night stay), driver was annoying and ruined the pahalgam visit, we did cancel subsequent booking with him for Gulmarg and Sonamarg. And also about house boat if you are looking for good surrounding don't go with it, it's not even clean or tidy. Cons: No privacy. Wifi does not work. Very old Shikara (Charged 1000+ for 10% Dal lake visit) Pros: Cute and Adorable 7 months old Simba (White cat).

I loved everything about this place. Best food, best view , best hospitality and clean rooms .. It's home away from home.. the owner, Gulzar , he is man of his words . We got everything whatever we have asked for. Gulzar will arrange your cab for sightseeing and airport pick up drop as well. Surely I'm going back ❤️
