We stayed here during our visit to Srinagar and the reason for selecting the place was that they were pure vegetarian. But i must say that once we reached there we are amazed with the hospitality of the hotel staff. The staff was courteous and helpful and they quickly helped us with all our queries and helped with the hotel checkin. Rooms were quite spacious and big compared to what we saw online while booking and they were very clean. Staff provided the regular toiletries and other stuff we demanded time to time quickly. We found that they don't mention that rooms have AC but they actually do and since we visited in the month of August, it was needed in the afternoon. We ordered food from room service and the food was tasty and the price was also within the budget. Overall I must that this place is great for staying with family.

We had a stay in this property in before covid 19 pandemic, we had a great stay along with a amazing breakfast in a absolutely worthy rate. I would recomend guys to definitely consider grand mamta as an good deal (premium stay at no cost).

I stayed at New Mamta for two days, though services were okay not good but I really had a bad experience when it comes to the room charges, we were 7 adults and we booked 2 triple bedroom where in the 2 beds and 1 extra bed was included which we confirmed at the reception and also we have already paid some amount in advance before checkin and also asked them to send some confirmation on mail regarding the booking and types of rooms , they just said your booking is confirmed and also at the time of checkin they verbally said that you just have to pay for the one extra bed but at the time of checkout they asked to pay extra amount for three beds and said we are dealing with too many customers that’s why we were not able to send any confirmation before hand and now you have to pay for the three extra beds , What is the mistake of customer if you are dealing with too many customers..improve your management accordingly. And they were not ready to accept their mistake rather asking for money. Seriously too much of disappointment, not at all recommended. Thanks.

The hotel people- owners, manager and service staff- all are very good and supportive. I got special attention as I was unable to walk. The only thing was negative to me that the hotel don't usually serve Kashmiri food! In Kashmir I expected all local recipes.

Rooms were centrally heated, best for the cold winter weather. Room service staff was also really humble and quick at service.

This is a gem for Gujarati tourists in Srinagar. Rooms are nice with additional folding bed for kids. Hot water, heating etc is no issue. Their food - aah, pure vegetarian and super tasty. Staff is superb and committed to make customers’ dining and breakfast experience better. The hotel is located in Mamta chowk, close to Dal Lake like 15 minute walk and local markets are close too. Hotel staff was very helpful in check-in and check-out. Thanks for making our stay comfortable, would recommend for families.

Overall the hotel is good, best for family stay. The quality of food is also very good, but the room cost per day is bit on the higher side is what I feel. Also you need to wait sometimes for coffee, sugar and milk powder refills. Even they said that I will be charged extra for each water bottles after 2 complimentary ones, which was absurd as I stayed there for a week with my whole family, but later they didnt charge extra. So not sure why this miscommunucation between the staffs.

The staff and Service is good. Rooms were clean. There is CRPF camp adjacent to it. So it felt much safer in comparison to other hotels nearby. It's not a 3 star hotel, but it provides good accommodation if you pay 1200-1300 for a standard room. There is no scenic view from windows, but Dal lake is at walkable distance. We found it worthy and felt safe.

The hotel location is good, it's centrally located, the property is bit old but rooms are spacious and clean. Lenins were clean. Food was amazing both in terms of quality and taste. Staff service is also very good.

The room service is average. Albeit they take good money for the regular rooms, cleanliness is lacking. The regular rooms are available with their new hotel - Young Mamta which is located inside the main road, behind the main hotel. They don't provide any RO filtered water to the rooms. As they sell you package bottle. Usually, it's expected to get complimentory 2 water bottles every day, they don't give you same. They don't even do room servicing every day. The only advantage is that it's one of the few hotels in Srinagar which provides pure veg & Jain food. Albeit they've limited food options for the Jains. The staff is polite and helpful though.

They are providing purely vegetarian authentic delicious Gujarati-Punjabi food as buffet lunch/dinner @₹300 per person. Restaurant is in basement, ambience is peaceful and spacious. Food taste, quality , variety excellent. Includes soup, salads, about four different sabzi, dal rice, buttermilk and also a sweet dish.

Hotel is very old and cleaning especially bathroom is very bad. Service staff is very polite. Food is vegetarian but please expect makkhi (Insects) and hairs in food, I found during my stay. Overall quality and cleanliness of food is very bad. I do not recommend at all if you have any other option.

Although many people have rated this hotel very law and also given some bad reviews about it, honestly i didn't have any dissatisfaction given the money I spent for the stay.. I spent only 3000 rs for 3 nights and stay was worth every penny. Room was spacious and bathroom was with proper facilities.. Only okay thing about this hotel was room service.. You wont get your thing done with one call. But It didn't bother me given the off season and its consequences in the form of low staff. Most beautiful thing about this hotel was its people.. Always greeting you with big wide smile especially its receptionist Mr.Gul. He arranged us local tour for reasonable price and a local sim card. A tragedy happened to us by chance but they handelled it very professionally.. If we talk about the breakfast, i liked their parathas but other items were not that much good.. In short I would surely recommend this hotel.. In summer you night need AC and for that you should prefer grand mamta I believe.

Good spacious pure vegiterian hotel but restuirant is costly but good to go there.
