This is by far the best hospitality we ever received. I was on vacation with my parents and they really loved this hotel. Sorry for writing this review late but seriously the staff is excellent here. Their kind gesture and hospitality was totally beyond satisfaction. Hats off to the team. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. If you are traveling with your family, this is the best place in Srinagar for sure. For 2 days I had work also, and before booking I called so many hotels about their wifi. I could not find any hotel with wifi having good speed. Receptionist gave me confidence that there won't be problem with wifi here. And guess what, she was right. I was easily able to work with no internet interruptions. The buffet was great, it had so many options and was very tasty. The menu was also different every day and it was lovely. From so many stays in India, this by far is the best value for money hotel I ever found. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel is very good n location is great as well, next to a supermarket n medical shop. Had heater n fans both in rooms. Rooms are spacious n staff is very helpful. Only thing to mention is breakfast n dinner didn't have variety n very basic things like bread butter, tea coffee milk, panner n dal n rice.. That's it . No fruits juices, cakes or other delicacies

Hotel is very clean. Restaurant staff shows great hospitality. Wide spread of food, nicely prepared. Great customer service. Highly recommendable.

Place was very nice and services provided by hotel were also good and satisfying... overall experience was very good at this hotel ...I will highly recommend to stay here whenever you travel for Kashmir

The location is not in the midst of main tourist attractions. The lobby is big and nice. Lift is available. Rooms are average. Food quality is good, but there is very limited choice in the buffet. An urban built hotel, with hardly any green space. Might be good for business travellers.

The hotel is located slightly away from the Dal lake and there's nothing in walkable distance. We were served Kehwa as the welcome drink which tasted decent. The room was sufficient and neat. There was a small study table, chair, ottoman and 2 seater sofa along with a teapoy. We felt that the centralized heating system was not efficient on the first day, but on the next 2 days - it worked fine. Room service is quick and efficient. This is a no-frills place offering decent service and clean rooms.

Location is little offbeat. Rooms are good but washrooms needs improvement. Food quality is good, limited buffet option. Overall recommended. Services are very good.

We booked the Solar Residency for one of our wedding functions. The food was upto the mark. Ambience was good. We got our private space with elite hospitality by them. Management of the things was balanced. The staff were warm and polite. We really appreciate their efforts for bringing the best of the day. Our guests really liked the place, food and quality of the services. Recommendable place. Thank you for serving us.

We were received with great hospitality. The hotel staff were kind enough to check in our luggage in advance as we had a brief stay in Pahalgam before our check in at Solar residency We had booked 3 rooms and all the rooms were centrally heated except one room which was the king room. However, it was still very warm and comfortable. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel in Rajbag because of the lovely hospitality, good heating system, location and cleanliness.

Definitely not a 4 star property! We booked a one night stay at this hotel considering it's a 4 star property. They charged us 10k per night. Although it's a 2-3 star hotel at max and definitely not worth spending so much money. At this price point you can definitely find a better hotel and in a better locality. The property is very old and has only one lift which is very slow. The room size is decent although the furnishing and fittings used are dated. The only good thing about the hotel is the courteous staff.

Well furnished hotel with all amenities. The ambience is good. Location is near zero bridge, which itself is a good place to hang out of you have some spare time. The river front is being beautified and will become better within a couple of years.

An excellent mid range property if you are visiting Srinagar. Right from the time you enter the gate, you'll notice the attention to detail the management has provided. Well dressed staff, polite prompt and courteous. Rooms are spacious and well furnished. All amenities provided within the room, including a set of bathroom slippers. Quite impressive that the hotel has thought of everything you might need. The lobby has a unique collection of antiques, which is quite interesting especially for kids. The welcome drink, Kahwa, is also refreshing. If your package includes breakfast and dinner, both are lavish and delicious. Overall, a very impressive hotel. Will surely visit if back in Srinagar.

Decent property for Stay - Loved the Hot and Cold AC in rooms much better than Blowers . Foods could be better - like not bad but leaves a lot more room for a city like Srinagar

staff is decent n helpful still I feel they shud take care of hygiene when it comes to changing clean n neat linen n bedspread. When I enter the room linen and pillow cover had bad stains. Very basic and decent place as per rate of 4500 ... only good part was Heaters n geyser facility is very good. Hotel owner was good guy who noted all the complaints peacefully n assured us to change it

Nicely maintained hotel, food taste is also good. Stayed here for sightseeing for few days. Service/ response is not encouraging, had to follow up for hot water every day. Though hill station, they provide merely warm water. Every day we had to remind them for hot water, no coordination.

Had a wonderful stay for 2 nights in the hotel, excellent service, courteous staff, a wide range of food was served for breakfast and dinner which was included in our package. Lift service available with 24/7 internet. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Horrible Sewage system inside the bathroom which created foul smell. We were here for two days and bought this into the hotel’s attention numerous times and nothing was taken care off. The only action they took was to spray a room freshener which didn’t resolve the problem. We opted for the breakfast and dinner services. The spread and taste was amazing. Would be great if they are mindful on Oil in their dishes.

We had an excellent one night stay at this property. Rooms were very clean and tidy. Staff are also very helpful and welcoming. Food is excellent and specially next day we are leaving for Kargil so we requested for early breakfast to the Hotel manager and in very positive manner he assured us that your breakfast will be ready early morning.

Hotel is excellent for stay. Highly cooperative Staffs. Only problem was with the conference hall. It was too cold. Restaurants don't have hot water pipes. Foods were really delicious. Outside views were excellent.

The services were very good in hotel solar residency. We booked this Hotel for 3nights. Room were good, tasty food, amazing people , kashmiri kehwa they offered us at check in was very good. Good recommended Hotel.

It was good amazing i love to stay here literally the management was too good and also food quality is amazing and view is totally fantastic room service was too awesome and hotel located in good area and honestly everything was too much better and i enjoyed alot and i might be stay there next time definitely....👍

Mr Mohammad Rafiq was very helpful. They changed the room when we asked for. Rooms are very clean and staff is also very supportive. The reviews which is below 3 stars are all being taken care now. I was also sceptical when I read those. However when we stayed I had no complaints. Food options in breakfast are limited but food is really nice nothing was oily. If you are green tea lover please carry your own. Their tea was really excellent.
