I am posting this review after being with them from last 3 years and I must say that the pleasure of staying at this incredible hotel Comrade Inn in the heart of Kashmir is amazing. I can't say enough good things about it and delighted to give them a 5 star for their incredible service that they have provided me from last 3 years! Everytime I have arrived, I was welcomed with warm breathtaking hospitality. The rooms are spacious, elegant, and immaculately clean. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and memorable. The hotel's security measures are top-notch which make me feel secure and safe. They have modern surveillance systems, well-trained security personnel, and secure access to rooms and elevators. I felt safe and protected throughout my stay. Moreover, the staff's attention to safety is commendable. They were proactive in making sure that their guests are safe, and their quick response to any concerns or requests was impressive. One of the standout features of this hotel is its location, located at the centre of the city Srinagar and accessible to all the beautiful tourist spots. Another beautiful dream is to wake up to the sound of chirping birds and peaceful atmosphere. The dining experience was exceptional. The restaurant served a delectable array of local and international cuisines, and the presentation was impeccable. I also enjoyed the cozy lounge area, perfect for unwinding with a hot cup of Kahwa tea after a day of exploration. I must mention again that the attentive and courteous staff who made every effort to ensure my stay was as comfortable as possible. Their local knowledge and willingness to assist with any request made me feel like a valued guest. In summary, if you're planning a trip to Kashmir and want an unforgettable experience, I highly recommend this hotel. The hotel brags itself 4 star but in reality its facilities is worst 2 star hotel. The carpet, bedding, quilt, pillows appears to be decade old and shabby. AC not working. Bathroom shabby. They don't keep dental kits themselves and guests need to ask for it. Hot water available like hostel -Only from 6 am to 8 am. In short, the hotel tariff is exorbitant and there is nothing like 4 star hotel. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They all go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. I've stayed 3 days in the hotel and room service was great. They have complimentary breakfast service starting at 8am. Try to go for breakfast earlier to have all available food from every day's menu. Have fresh fruit juice, milk tea and coffee too. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Srinagar, Kashmir. Overall, I had a great experience with the Comrade Inn. Note: The hotel prefer CASH payment instead of cards (Local or International cards). If you want to pay by cards then you need to add 18.5% GST charge. You can pay by Mobile Banking service called PhonePe which GST charge 12%.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Staff is so nice that we feel a home away from home.. Restaurant dinner, breakfast is delicious we could not forget wasja chicken , kashmiri paneer dish Utpams and sambar. ... 👍🏻💯

Average hotel with big dull rooms. The bathrooms are clean and comes with basic toiletries. Rooms could really need a makeover. In house Restaurant food is average. The hotel has a nice lobby to sit and relax.

Excellent property and very convenient. Super friendly staff, amazing food at the restaurant, clean and well heated rooms, good road connectivity. Overall, I had a great experience. Would love to stay again.

The hospitality is beyond words, every staff member is helpful and sweet, their greetings made our day!! The food was amazing too :) Rooms are centrally heated so it helps if you are coming in from an extreme cold weather! Excellent food, neat and clean rooms. Spacious bed , spacious bathrooms. Aaqib at the restaurant and his team are doing amazing job. Serving some amazing food in entire kashmir. If you want good food, good rooms this place is a must visit. Thankyou for making our family's trip memorable and wonderful.

The rooms had central heating which was good. The room service was also pretty nice. We had a good stay in the hotel. It is very near to the airport too, just takes hardly 20 minutes.

This is worse maintained that a 1 star lodge. ACs are centrally controlled and hence “always off”, even after 4 reminders the staff turned it on for 2 hrs and then again turned it off. Had to wake the floor manager to get it turned on at 3am. Very suffocating throughout the hotel including breakfast area which again doesn’t have fans and won’t turn on AC. I would strongly advice against staying here specially paying 4K a night Only thing decent is location, rest extremely poor property

Wonderful experience. Rooms were luxurious, spacious and clean. Rooms had electric kettle. The hotel is centrally heated (we went in the month of April so we didn’t need it). Hotel staff was extremely polite. The floor manager was quick and helpful. There was plenty of options for breakfast. Highly recommended !!

What a wonderful stay it was.We stayed there for 4 days and the thing amused us most was the attitude and behaviour of the staffs. They treated us like a family!!What more do you want??Hotel is situated in a prime location with a car parking. The small cafae nook beside the hotel was so cozy that it became our daily coffee adda spot.We are in love with Kashmir. Will visit again Comrade Inn.

*** The BEST Hotel in Srinagar *** Yes you read it right. Not an exaggeration. If you’re looking for the best budget and flexibility of staying, this is the right choice. We had the best experience of service and support here. If you’re a South Indian and looking for good breakfast, they serve the best. Poha and Poori are the best in the menu. Hotel staff is so polite and friendly. They will respond immediately for anything. The best part of service and support comes here. Before coming to Srinagar, we have hired a local driver to visit Pahalgam, Gulmarg and other places. Initially he agreed with the itinerary. After taking two days of his service, he tried cheating us by charging more money. We had canceled the contract within three days and informed the hotel management about his behaviour. Management has reacted to the situation and took over the responsibility. They made us feel like it’s our home, not just a hotel. Mr. Sajid, the owner of Comrade Inn, understood the situation well and made us feel comfortable about the situation. When driver came to hotel and wanted to have an argument, Sajid handled the situation wisely and ended this satisfying both of us. When he dig deep, the driver got caught cheating by charging more money. I don’t think any other hotel management would have done this. If you go to any other city or any other hotel, usually they support their locals. But this man is so genuine and loyal. Don’t go with any other third party apps to book this hotel. Directly you can contact and book rooms. They will give the best price. Even if you don’t have itinerary, the hotel will help you with all support of travel and other services. I would like to thank the hotel management again for all the support during our stay and made us feel like home. Next time, when I plan to visit Kashmir, I’m gonna book this hotel for SURE.

I had a wonderful experience at the at this hotel. Every staff member I encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! Breakfast here is soo good. Sajid the owner of this hotel is so overwhelming and made us feel like home Had a very good and comfortable stay.

A complete and absolute let down. For what they claim is a 4 star, this place is a joke. The food is subpar at best. The buffet had one non veg option. Tried ordering a la carte, 5 out of 6 things we asked for were not available. The breakfast supposedly starts at 8 but by 8:30 they were still not done setting up. We asked for a fried egg for breakfast. We were told only boiled would be available and the ‘dish can’t be changed.’ There was also no service at all during meals. The rooms are barely maintained - burn marks on the walls, stains, poorly maintained bathrooms with mould on the ceiling. If this wasn’t enough - hot water is not available 24/7. Bare in mind that at the time of this review it is -2 degrees in Srinagar. Do not recommend at all.

Comrade inn is a good hotel when it comes to hospitality and service. It is located at the best,quiet place and main market is at walking distance. Staff is very courteous, amazing and humble.Rooms were spacious and big. Ms.Samiya and Ms.Hardeep at the front office were really courteous,thoughtful and helpful ,even the owner was very courteous, helpful and proactive. Food was good too,the only thing which I was bothered about - room cleanliness, comrade inn just needs "room cleaning"at best. Otherwise every other single thing was best. I would still choose friendly,humble,polite and thoughtful staff and the service of the hotel over any other thing. Thanks to comrade inn for the comfortable stay.
