A good hotel near Dhal Lake with reasonable rates . we have got 3rd floor room which is good . There are no views from the side rooms. but you will get a balcony on the 3rd floor. From there, you will get a good view of Dhal Lake. you can sit in the common area and enjoy the aswome views. without breakfast, we paid 3000/- in July for double occupancy. you will get a Punjabi restaurant dow side the hotel. most of the dishes are available there. it's a very convenient hotel near Dhal Lake, those who are looking for a normal hotel, more than looking on 🌟 stars.

Never visit this hotel. Not a single service received what they committed. No hot water. Even the staff is also not trained. Any point of time staff can come directly in your room without knocking door. And even there is a electricity issue . For turning on generator you have to request to manager otherwise they will not start. Even in a morning or evening get only 1 bucket hot water from gycer so if you are going with more people then think twice as their is more water issues their. Very rude and manner less Staff amd manager.

Although the rooms and location is decent, the biggest put down is the service. There is absolutely no regards for guest requests. Neither was water being delivered on time nor any food /snacks items. In one instance ee ordered lassi and waited for an hour. After following up we came to know there was no milk and the reception never bothered to call us. In another instance we had a non-veg menu card in room from which we tried to order only to know they served pure veg food and the menu was mistakenly kept in room!

Be careful to order anything in the hotel. They charge you 1.5 to 2 times of the menu price. Looks like menu is just to show you can order food nothing else. Room service is ok.

I consider myself privileged to be in this hotel for five nights during the month of March, 2023. Located just opposite to the Dal gate no. 6, this hotel is surely one of the best in the business in Srinagar. Their staff members are ever ready to serve you the best, their reception staff members at your service always with a smile. The room, the bed, the washroom, everything, provided for us was worthy to be praised. I remember the night when we were busy leaving our rooms due to earthquake. During this time service of the staff members was just beyond compare. I strongly recommend this hotel, while you are in Srinagar. My special thanks to Mr. Hakim Hamud for his unforgettable assistance in time of need. Take a bow Sir.

Worst hotel you could choose near Dal Lake. Don't go with the photos. Worst rooms and even worse staff. Find a better hotel even if not in front of the lake. If u ask for something to eat or even tea. They ask to check out. Really the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. If you read this. Never go for it.

The hotel is very nice. And the location is also very cool. The room is quite nice. The bathroom is also quite nice. But here the light goes out at any time due to which it is very difficult to get hot water in the morning. There is a problem of drinking water in this hotel. Drinking water is not provided from the hotel side.

Perfectly located in front of dal lake, besides hotel heemal of JKTDC near dal lake ghat number 6...rooms are neat and clean , well decorated... bathrooms spacious.... restaurant is not very commendable...overall nice place to stay...rates moderate with scope for bargaining

No room heater was available which is extremely disappointing in case if you come in winters 🥶. Drainage in the bathroom is not good Comot is broken Windows are not clear and very dirty which is totally blocking the Dal lake view.

Rooms are to small without food facility. Attached hotel provides only veg food

We got a lake facing room, n the view was mesmerizing, just below the hotel is a wonderful restaurant, Punjabi Darbar. The rooms r airy, neat n comfortable

It's service was very poor. We face many problem like: if we ordered something on landline we didn't receive that thing. We also face problem regarding bed. Overall it was very bad experience. I suggest you to not stay in this hotel. It's only view was nice. Otherwise it is very bad hotel

Water tank is never cleaned it seems. Found earthworms flowing through water with lots of dirty water. Wish I could even post the picture of that water and earthworms for reference. Pathetic to even thinking of brushing teeth over here. Towels are not cleaned and seemed used. Pillows are full of sweat patches and smell as if never washed.

Stay at Hotel Sun shine was an absolute nightmare. The staff was rude and unhelpful, the rooms were in deplorable condition with a pungent smell of mildew, sagging beds, and broken amenities. The bathroom was a disaster with chipped tiles, filthy grout, and barely functioning plumbing. Despite numerous complaints, the staff showed no interest in addressing the issues, and the on-site dining was abysmal as if I order something they ask to checkout and give quite rude responses. Avoid this dreadful hotel at all costs. Could rate -5 if I could. If you ever visit here and read this review never ever stay here.

The hotel was too good and there were many types facility provide officially cab, and very humble and very sincere staff.

Very bad service. No proper light, no hitter, not even proper blankets. Very bad experience.
