Excellent stay at the hotel. We stayed here with my family for 3 days during our Kashmir✈️trip. Rooms are well maintained,neat and clean. All the members of staff are very friendly. Food and service is excellent. At the restaurant waiters are very courteous and offer excellent service. 🍽️Breakfast and dinner buffet was really good and the dishes kept changing. We’ll definitely recommend this place to whoever is visiting The best 3 Star hotel in Srinagar⭐⭐⭐

Worst ever stay at hotel. At very first day we informed them well in time to pack our breakfast as we were late. Even then they serve us meal that was prepared last night. Owner is rude. At eve when we ask about other things he turns rude. Further we decided to checkout next morning after breakfast. He told "apko breakfast nahi milega ap naye hotel me hi karna". However he has all the excuses to your query. So I along with my family suggest not to go with this hotel. No fresh meal.

Hotel interiors were good. There are fixed timings for getting hot water from the tap. Food quality could be better. Room was clean. It is situated little bit away from tourist area. There was repair work ongoing therefore it was little noisy. Host was friendly. He offered us good suggestions on our itinerary.

We stayed at Shelter Heritage for 4 days and the experience was really good. We were three couples and our holiday experience was made seamless by shelter heritage team, right from our arrival in Srinagar to our departure from Srinagar they took care everything. They guided us at very point for better experience and in budget. The rooms are clean and heated. The food was good and the best part is the staff and their hospitality. The driver allotted to us was one of the nicest person we have ever met. Really recommend this hotel for stay in Srinagar.

As per my experience the shelter heritage srinagar is one of the best property in all over Kashmir. Team is very cooperative and helpful,food was good and tasty. Service is totally awesome.i wish team shelter heritage srinagar keep it up💯 and provide like this service to everyone. Staff members are very young and professional as well as cooperative. We, as a group stayed in this hotel for 3 day in October 22. The food quality is below average. We informed the authority to change the cook as we never had such poor quality food ever. But they did nothing to improve or change the food taste. Rooms are OK, but toilet flush is not working properly. Not enjoyed the stay. We informed this review/experience to the hotel management too.

Excellent host, we stayed at Shelter Heritage for 3 nights and had an amazing experience. They guided us at very point for better experience and in budget. They do have house boat at Dal lake too and can assist with the best rates.The rooms are clean.The food was good and the best part is the staff and their hospitality. Really recommend this hotel for stay in Srinagar. Location is quite far from Daal lake. I had medical emergency while staying here, they where very helpful and ensured that we were OK at all times. Would recommend anyone visiting Kashmir on holidays, you check this place out.

This is a lovely place. The rooms are exactly as shown, infact even better and the hospitality is out of the box. We stayed here for 5 days without any trouble or inconvenience. They take special care of everything and the staff is way too sweet. All your requests are fulfilled within 5 10 mins and they do not refuse for any help. I would 100% recommend to stay here. Their houseboats are magical. Definitely consider this if you plan on visiting Kashmir.

Hi All, First of all I would like to start with the people and hospitality we had as family recently, we stayed here in April 2023 (03rd till 05th April & 08th till 10 April 2023). Aijaz, Burhan, all room service, kitchen staff all were excellent. I had so many queries and every single time Aijaz was very helpful and they have provided all queries and response (though slight delay at time) but he will definitely respond. I would more than 100% recommend this hotel for stay. We were Jains, so at times the did provided us Jain breakfast. I would like to thank the best room he has provided to my parents and to us. Room was very clean, room services was excellent, Breakfast we very good considering we were pure vegetarian (Jain). If I visit again, I would definitely stay here again, though not to far from Dal Lake approx 3 to 3.5km but by car not too far. Airport was approx 30-40 mins depends when you are travelling. They help me to dropped me at airport too. Any information you need for local travel or staying at houseboat they will help you with. Overall fanstastic experience in Srinagar on all 4 nights & 5 days we stayed in Srinagar. Heated water in morning and evening (If issues they will help / sort out), extra heater provided if needed / required in winter times. For Jain, Vegetarian & family friendly people, I would recommend this hotel for stay. For Vegetarian /Jain food - we went to Krishna Dhaba, Vishal Dhaba, Gulab Restaurant (all in same line) & Nathu Sweets not to far from hotel which is approx 3-4.5km range. Once again more than 5 star review and definitely recommended to everyone including for family & vegetarian / Jain family. Thankyou Aijaz, Burhan and few other names, I have missed too. We had stayed here for one day. The rooms are really clean and mattress heater is an add on.The staffs are extremely polite and informative. Food was excellent.We had dinner and breakfast included in the booking. Dinner - roti,rice ,dal, chicken,salads . Breakfast - stuffed breads, pasta, egg ,toasted bread, juice, coffee, kalokes. Definitely recommended.

As a Tour Operator , I booked shelter Heritage multiple times for my Guests. And everytime My guests got great Hospitality in terms of everything ( Rooms , Food , Staff ) . Azhar bhai is too good & Always ready to help in any issue. Highly Recommended!!

Great service and great hotel. Lunch/dinner available and good. Very flexible and helpful. Good tuktuk driver from the hotel that can take you to Mughal gardens and more. Cross the bridge and you will have multiple restaurants etc. Lal Chowk walkable and old city easy to reach with short tuktuk drive. Shikari trip to floating market is a must-do even though you have to get up early. 90% or more of the houseboats we saw didn’t look worth it or in area with lots of mosquitoes/smelly. Happy that we chose this hotel.

A wonderful hotel with a beautiful lawn to spend time . Mr Azhar is of great help , be it for Cab to Gulmarg or any other sight seeing spot. The hotel staff works very hard to wake up early morning and prepare breakfast and to give you any service required. Its near to Dal Lake, Lal chowk market and you can easily get autos to any nearby famous spot.

We just loved our stay at Shelter Heritage. Our first time in Kashmir and our first stay in srinagar was this homely abode. Extremely clean & hygenic rooms & washrooms. Great interiors with beautiful Kashmiri Decor. Warm homely food made our winter trip even more comfortable. Great customer service & lovely hosts. Will recommend it 100%

Most pathetic Hotel ever . It is not a hotel it a kind of homestay Flush doesn't work . Dusty rooms Loose switch sockets Food is pathetic . Dinner had a boiled daal with uncooked chapattis , cheap quality of flour used . Rice is thick grain . No security system . You cannot come back late as the door gets closed . Location is far away from main market and is dead place .

Wonderful place, nice and clean rooms, but the best part was the wonderful staff. They were all incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. And special thanks to Mr Aijaz he arranged many things for us. We had to travel with lots of luggage and I would surely love to stay in Hotel The Shelter Heritage again whenever I visit again Kashmir next time.

Good hot water and room heating facilities. And good service and hospitality. The location is a bit remote but enjoyed the overall stay. Breakfast could have been better. Owner is very friendly and gave some advices for local bargaining.

I had wonderful trip in Kashmir trip. Our trip was well organised from Srinagar airport till jammu drop . We not faced any difficulties.The food was great according to our taste. The staff was very cooperative. You must choose this property.

The owners were very helpful at satisfying the needy travellers. Arranging rides, logistics, helping to research destinations, permits, etc. etc. The breakfast/dinner buffets were delicious and abundant. My friends stayed in another hotel and wanted to move to this hotel after they heard about the service here. The only minus was the wifi internet, which was slow and not available in all rooms, so one had to go to the router. But I'm sure they can improve that. Ajaz, thank you for making our stay in Srinagar comfortable and efficient. Your family excels in the arts of hospitality. If I come back I will make sure to stay at your shelter heritage again.

Shelter Heritage is an excellent property to stay. It’s a hidden gem in Srinagar area. Has a very good ambience, and a beautiful view. They go above and beyond with customer service. This property is more for comfort and relaxation. The only benefits to this property is that it is little bit near to the airport - about 30 mins and it adds 15+ mins in every one of your long trips to tourist destinations and to the shops/markets. The rooms and washrooms were very clean and comfortable. Food was excellent, home food style. Overall a very good & satisfying stay.😊

Best place to go to if you are looking for a good hotel with reasonable price and who treats you like a family, food is homemade and good. The Hotel management and staff are so helpfull, i would 💯 recommend you to go ahead and book your rooms. They have heaters, electric blankets, hot geysers and home cooked food. They also provide very reasonable price for day trips according to your stay.

Really loved the experience with Shelter Heritage Team. This was my first time visiting Srinagar and the service provided by Shelter Heritage team was so exemplary. I visited Srinagar with my friends and had limited knowledge about the places to visit. The rooms provided to us were clean and spacious for 2 . We were provided a cab for all the places to visit. The Cab driver was so punctual that he arrives at 9am everyday and at places where we had to negotiate, he intervened and helped us. He also stopped at places to have tea and snacks which was hygienic and tasty. Aijaz and Shafi brothers were also amiable and often provided an idea about the price to negotiate at places where we visited. The food provided during our stay was also good . We were extremely satisfied with the scheduling and responsive back and forth communication. We really enjoyed our time in Srinagar and a major credit goes to Shelter Heritage team. We highly recommend them.

Hotel is good but did not get any hotel feeling. Hotel owner did not stick to his commitments. Money talks more here than trust and commitment. Not recommended for families. It's a budget home stay where you are ready to adjust. Owner are good and friendly but did not stick to commitments. Never dare to argue with them.

Had come here for 3-4days trip to Kashmir. The rooms were awesome and cleanliness is much appreciated. Room services were really good and food at the restaurant was really nice. I did have breakfast and dinner on all days; had both non-veg and veg dinners. The staffs were helpful and were free at all times at the time of need.

Good rooms(all the amenities like hot water, electric kettle, electric heater, heating blankets were functioning), good homely food(veg and non veg), excellent host(very well informed, helps with planning), great staff. We arrived there3 hours before our check-in time, still they cooperated and arranged for a room. Our family had 3 vegetarians, so they were served separate veg dish for dinner. We had lot of queries regarding sight seeing, and all were answered by the host. This place is definitely value for money, possibly even more than that.
