It is a nice boat with just two rooms I think . So we can book both rooms and have complete boat to ourselves. The owner was very cooperative and even took my small kids in his personal boat for a ride. Then he took my husband for food till the market. Overall it was a pleasant experience and we thoroughly enjoyed the peace in the boat

If u are planning to stay in Srinagar u cannot find a better place than the new retreat hotel which is on the bank of Dal lake.A new experience of spending time on water is memorable .the price is reasonable and the hospitality is appreciable.

Houseboat is near by Gate no 7, with mountain View at front side. Decent Rooms but best experience. Just sit at evening at the front side and enjoy the vibes. Tariq - Guy who owns houseboat & manage with his family. Very humble, polite & helpful nature. Even he can guide u, how to visit best places in kashmir. We highly recommend this place for houseboat experience.

Tariq and his father where very genuine and helpful people. We enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle from the city to chill in a quite area on the lake. Mornings and sunset we're my favoured time and I loved having the vendors come by with food and snacks, tea and coffee. We could use the fridge, water heater for our own tea. There was a free 5min Shikara (boat) ride to and from the mainland whenever we wanted. We got the cheaper room option which might not have been as luxurious as the others but it was clean and peaceful. Overall I loved my stay at the new retreat house boats.

Best houseboat in all standard parameters. The owner Tariq is very nice person and we had an amazing stay for 3 days. U will definitely feel like at home. I ll highly recommend this to everybody. A suggestion is to add food option rest everything is absolutely fine.

Worst experience, when we asked for food he said no food available on Boat, don't waste your money while staying on this Boat ...it's better to stay in hotel or any other boat....
