Badyari palace is a luxury houseboat in the open waters of Dal Lake. From its deck you can enjoy the magnificent view of Dal Lake and enjoy the morning air. The staff is extremely well mannered and the rooms are fit with all the basic amenities. Free Wi-Fi is also available. The food was good enough and overall it was an amazing stay at Badyari Palace. It was nice experience. We stayed for one night. Houseboat manager Mr Hilal is very polite and nice person. He made our stay comfortable and helped us to plan our shikara ride. Highly recommended this houseboat.

I stayed at the boat house for one night and it was a good experience. The rooms are clean and the great thing is hot water supply and the room temperature . Food was good and we got the timely drinking water and coffee when we needed. It was a great experience staying in the boat house.😊😊😊

We stayed for a night in this houseboat and the experience was excellent specially the manager Mr. Bilal was so kind hearted and polite behaviour. He made sure that our overnight stay becomes memorable and also he arranged us a special candle light dinner which actually added stars to our experience. Must visit if you want to have a comfy yet wonderful trip.

The rooms and toilets were neat and clean. We were warmly welcomed by Hilal the caretaker. He was very helpful in guiding and cheating that takes place for tourist, very kind of him that he also offered his help if we.run into any issues. Dinner served was good and tasty, especially chicken gravy was yummy for the cold. The house boats are exactly the same as shown in the pictures.

This houseboat is really nice and at a very good location inside Dal lake. The care taker Hilal was also good and the quality of service provided was excellent. Special arrangement for anniversary was also done and the cake provided was of top quality. The food served in Dinner and Breakfast was also home cooked, fresh and tasty. The only thing which we did not like and for which I am giving just 4 stars is that certain sellers were allowed to enter the Houseboat for selling their product which seems to be irritating at times. Overall very good service

The stay here was a mesmerising experience. The view from here to dal lake is one to die for. A word of appreciation for Hilal Khan who was attentive to all our needs. Also one of our members lost an ornament and he was courteous enough to find it out for us. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Best hotel on daal lake with all type of services. Good food,Good rooms, Wonderful view. One can see the sunrise. Best customer services provided here. South people can afford this. no regrets.

Very nice houseboat for a relaxing stay since it is little far from the road and in the middle of the lake. Direct view of a hill and Shankaracharya Temple. Mr. Hilaal is a friendly and caring host. Recommendations to improve- window blinds at the room need to cover entirely without any gaps for proper privacy.

Had an amazing stay at Luxury Inn Badyari Houseboat stay. Hilal Khan was very friendly, Caring and Warm staff. Breakfast and Dinner Buffet was very good. He also provided great recommendations on places of attraction which was very helpful. Overall strongly recommended. Hilal’s services was one of the best we ever received.

The place was ok because of nice view and food was not so bad. Electricity was out very often. Floor carpet is very dusty but restroom is clean. We usually tip generously and after staying for two nights - when we were leaving the guys asking for more tips for himself and the cook - I almost feel like we were extorted for money, but we just gave it to him anyway. He also brought seller on to the boathouse trying to sell things. I’m not sure is it because we are foreigners- I don’t see anyone other than us tipping. We do it to show our appreciation. However, my opinion is that the guy is too greedy and more money is never enough - the more you give the more they want - I’ll not go back there ever again - this experience had my beautiful memories of the whole trip diminished completely…. 🥲

One of the best Houseboat in Srinagar Dal Lak. We Stay for 1 Night during our Kashmir Trip in Sept 2023. The Rooms are Superb with AC which is rare in Houseboat with Proper Bath Tub. The Best thing is Caretaker of the Houseboat. He is very helpful. even my wife forget her mobile charger in the Houseboat but he safely delivered later to our driver. The Food is Good. We take Veg Dinner and Breakfast. Both are Very Good in Taste. JUST Go for it.

We started our trip with house boat and couldn’t thought of better place and better person than hilal bhai. He is like a family . Hospitality and food was just awesome. I will visit here and meet hilal bhai again whenever i come back toh kashmir.

Badyari palace houseboat is well maintained, clean and has all the amenities. Rooms are clean and comfortable, bathrooms are clean and well maintained, interior is well thought and feels luxurious. We stayed here in month of April around 26th and weather was pleasant. And of couse Hilal is very helpful and guides guest about tourist attractions in Kashmir.

The stay was pretty good actually. The rooms were perfectly clean...24/7 hot water..heater/ac was there...beds were clean and the rooms were spacious. The interiors were something to look for in the houseboat. The hospitality from My Hilal was the cherry on the cake. The man is so humble and haven taken care of us and the other guests like his own family members. The dinner that he provided was a too good home cooked food that will give you a touch of the Kashmiri daily cuisine...it was a pretty good experience all along. Would love to visit Badyari Palace Houseboat when I will come to Kashmir again.

Never felt so homely and at peace in a houseboat. The houseboat was amazingly clean and very well maintained. The rooms were luxurious and top notch! The hot water supply made our trip better. What I loved the most was the food. It was delicious just like home cooked meals. I requested if we could have Pulao for dinner and the staff happily agreed for the same. The staff were super helpful. Special thanks to Wasim Bhaiya for making us feel at ease. I 10/10 recommend Badyari Houseboat to everyone! :)

Worst experience. House boat was under renovation when we reached the property for checkin by 2.30 pm and entire houseboat was looking just like pieces of wood with gum, paint and wallpaper all around. I had spoken to owner morning at 8 am and he had assured all good for checkin but unfortunately they are cheating people by assigning some local boats which is not even worth 500 rupees. Attitude is also very bad as they asked me to get in touch with make my trip for cancellation. Had to cancel and book a different hotel in last minute, very unfortunate to witness such ignorance and money minded attitude in a beautiful place like Kashmir

Pros:Luxurious rooms. Excellent ambience. All facilities available. Nice place to relax. Cons: Food is just okay. Very minimal choice and taste is not very good. Only bread omlet offered for breakfast. Sound insulation between rooms is very poor. This effects your privacy.
