Aadil bhai was one of the best person I have met during my Kashmir trip and also he was so helpful. The experience I had in Young Hollywood was tremendous. The food was just like home and stay was very comfortable. I loved it and will 100% come back and bring my parents as well.

NEVER NEVER Select this travel agent. ( Mr ISFAQ) Don't go by Google reviews. It is not 100% authentic. We four families had horrible experience with this houseboat. 1. Dal lake house boat manager ( Me. Isfaq - Hollywood house boat) threatened us to throw out luggage in dal Lake while asked for proper facilities. 2. Didn't arrange separate Shikara even though we were 12 people. They put everyone in single boat with lesser capacity. 3. Shikara didn't come on time and we were on verge of missing early morning flight. 4 didn't provide breakfast on time so we had to leave for airport without breakfast. NEVER EVER TRY YOUR LUCK. DON'T GO BY 5 STAR REVIEWS. IT IS NOT CORRECT

This place is located right on the banks of Lake Dal and the view is breathtaking. The lake looks very beautiful during sunrise and sunset. The lighting at night is also very beautiful. We had booked our trip through thrillophilia and we had chosen New Sea Palace which is a part of Hollywood group but we were given Young Hollywood hotel boat as the owner mentioned that he wanted to give us a private space. The new sea palace definitely looked much better than the houseboat we stayed in. Mr.Aadil was courteous and he was very kind. The rooms were spacious and clean but we had to face powercut issues quite a few times during our stay. This is a problem especially when it is freezing cold and the electric blankets don't work well. The breakfast and dinner served were ok and not that great. We found a strand of hair in our food but the owner apologised for it. Aside from his kind and hospitable behaviour, we did not like the fact where sellers were constantly getting in trying to sell their stuff. People go there for leisure and such interventions affecting the privacy of the guest is not acceptable. We had checked in only at 6pm and we were kept busy by the sellers till 8:30pm and it was quite annoying. Special mention to Aadil for his honest gesture where we had left our wallet unknowingly and he was honest enough to let us know that we have missed it. Definitely a 5 star for that gesture. The boats can be improved a bit especially when it comes to bathroom where we did not get hot water and we had to go to different houseboat to bath. The water had a stinking smell there. Keep in mind the above points before you book a stay here.

The experience was awesome . The property was very good , clean and comfortable. The room was big , clean . The bed was small and hot water was not available. The dinner was very very costly and they charge shikara charge to come and leave from the houseboat.

We had our booking at HB Hollywood, Ghat No. 12, Boulevard Road, Srinagar, through MakeMyTrip from 25th Nov-29th Nov, 2023 (4 nights). I am writing this detailed review so that no tourist in future faces similar harassment that we faced! 1. Money extortion & scamming: The houseboat was at the backside (much inside) of Ghat No. 12, and they forced us to pay extra (Rs. 200) everytime we enter and come out of the houseboat, which is supposed to be complimentary with the houseboat stay (confirmed from locals near Dal Lake). When my husband tried to negotiate, they SHOUTED on my husband in front of everyone as if it’s their justified ask! 2. Poor breakfast: In spite of charging so much, they only provided tea, cold bread-butter for breakfast which was not worth what we paid for! Even though my husband asked for coffee, they did not provide 3. Forcible check-out: On Day 3 of our stay, they informed in the morning that they were UNAWARE that we had one more day of stay (though I had booked 3 months in advance) and told us that they will SHIFT us to another unknown houseboat, as some “other guests” are coming over! When I counter questioned that why should we move to a different houseboat other than the one we have booked and paid for, and are we not their guests, they did not co-operate, nor agreed for refund and said “apni marzi se rehna hai toh raho” (stay at your own wish)…what marzi, I am not sure!!!! We have booked the stay! Without arguing further, we immediately checked-out of the houseboat without knowing where we would stay for the night 4. Full of Lies: When the MakeMyTrip customer care agent called them up to verify the situation, the owner lied that they have ‘repair work’ going on, so they wanted us to move to another houseboat 5. Rude behaviour: The houseboat boy, Musaddiq, even threatened us that we come late after 6:30 PM, we will not get any shikhara to return to the houseboat!! And even said we might be charged as much as Rs.500 for returning to the houseboat. One of the shikhara-wala even SHOUTED on my husband when we asked them not to overcharge us for the shikara to-n-fro from ghat to houseboat…how can they shout and disrespect a tourist, who should be treated as a guest in a new city The entire stay was harassing and we never felt this unsafe and uncomfortable while on a trip. I would not want any tourists and guests in future to face something even close, because we truly waited for next morning to escape from there.

Don't go for Hollywood houseboat, they didn't give us any kind of basic facilities like, no hand wash in washroom, no charging point, no room key,  even they didn't give us drinking water after i asked for water they charged me 30 rupees for 1 ltr bottle which mrp was 20 rupee & room condition was very poor. Only the food was good. Houseboat too much far from ghat no. 12

Food is being prepared by local people but this hotel people informed that food is being prepared by cook..Very low services for heater.water smells bad in washroom n in basin.One of the most uncomfortable hotel stay of my journey ..unwanted salesman arrived in our booked room without prior intimation..

Excellent stay. Awesome hospitality by Mr Aadil. Aadil helped us a lot during our stay. Nice location. Best houseboat in dal lake. Amazing food just like home. Affordable cost. I stayed for two days but wanted more..next time I will come again for sure ....loved the arrangements

Young Hollywood service is excellent owner is of helping nature and provides services at good rate. Care taker Adhil ji helps us in booking auto and Shikara ride at a reasonable Rate ...and Provide us good service.. staff behaviour is nice , place is clean .

The hospitality, food, rooms, everything is top notch. The owners are very polite and treat you like a family. The rooms are very spacious and beds are provided with electric blanket too. The interiors and woodwork is so pretty, got full kashmiri feels. I can write a lot about the beauty of this place. It's like a home away from home. Totally worth every penny. My stay has been really amazing.
