Pathetic services, they don’t even provide amenities like drinking water, tissue roll, heaters, electric bed warmer, (unless asked for,3-4 times) The staff from reception to housekeeping are greedy and just want to extort money. Not a place to stay when you want comfort for family. Highly disappointing.

Smell cigarettes all over the room, also i can smell painting due to renovating hallway. Floor in the room is too much dirty, it never mob. Hot water is not working. I have to say this hotel is worst nightmare in my life. Think twice before stay!!!

Very good hotel. Location is opposite dal lake ghat no. 13. Manager including all staff are very courteous. We were there in two phases from 20.3.2022 to 28.3.2022. Staffs are never said no to anything. Food quality was very good. I will recommend this hotel for staying.

One of the worst hotel ever. This has many reasons- 1. We asked for extra bedding but they made a bed out of blankets. 2. Washrooms were not even clean. 3. Flushes were broken, water was not coming. 4. Staff was full of arrogance. 5. Lights were not working and were broken at some places. 6. Blankets were stinking badly. So overall it was 0 out of 5 as there is no option in Google for 0 so one has to give 1 star for writing this review

I booked this hotel directly via their person Haseeb for two nights, after seeing the reviews, ratings and the pictures. But when I checked in with my family I really got disappointed. Room was not cleaned, explaination I got from front desk was earlier guests just checked out. Even after they made room clean it was not livable, i again requested to get bathroom cleaned but still the result was same. Then I decided to look for some other hotel and finally after two hrs of struggle got it. I informed them about my decision to checkout and requested if they can refund atleast for one day. But Hotel people were not really ready stating it's a peak season. They have not maintained their property since year's, they have 2-3 people who are just attending guests but not really willing bro assistant. The person who was assisting me with luggage abused, and when I shouted they started saying sorry. I must say it was a biggest mistake and around ,10,000 just went to their pocket, and they said it's hotel policy. I can see Haseeb have responded to many of Google reviews below, let's see what explaination he is giving on this today big cheaters. Not book there are many other good property near by.. they just keep 2000 less so that people come in their trap.

The rooms are very nice. And the hospitality is awesome. The service boys are really sweet and welcoming. The restaurant food tastes great and the fnb department is really great and it just feels like home away from home . Bilal, rayees, Zain were very nice . I would recommend you to visit and see such a nice hospitality. Highly recommendable resturant in Srinagar.

I recently visited Hotel duke with my mom in first week of April 2023. The hotel room is good but it lacks basic facilities like Hot water kettle, mugs for having tea. When i called them, they said we don’t provide sugar n tea sachets and mugs in rooms. The F&B person laughed on me and said such facilities aren’t provided here, which i found v strange coz i was provided all basic facilities in other hotels in kashmir. When i asked for hand towels to wipe my face n hands after washing, they said we don’t provide that too. This place lacks basic facilities. Kindly note this before booking the place The food quality was decent Location is excellent We were provided room with no view. Staff is a little rude i must say. Very minimal heating facilities in room inspite of the cold weather. The staff should be trained to speak properly with guests. No industry can prosper if the staff is rude with guests.

Summer time, the room are very hot and humid as no AC is available. You hv to open windows to get fresh air. Room facing lake are wonderful but backside room are nt worth that price. There is no food service if the guests are few in numbers.

Good hotel in Srinagar just beside the famous Dal Lake near ghat no 13. It’s a large four storey hotel. Room was large, neat and clean and so the washroom. Most attracted part was the large window facing Dal Lake. We took breakfast only as part of our package. Food taste was average. For other times we preferred outside foods. In Srinagar, there are numerous options for eating. Staffs were courteous but bit slow in service sometime. There is ample space for parking as well. Price was slightly high but I would say it was value for money.

Location - excellent Rooms - Small with good lake view Issues - No heating. Lack of electricity so no hot water. Food - No variety. Limited options for vegetarian food. Better to have food outside.

Dal lake facing hotel with great ambience and service. Check for lake facing rooms if available. We reached hotel late around 11 and staff was informed that we are coming for dinner. We stayed for three nights. We truly enjoyed our stay because of hot water and good food. Staff was very helpful. The location of the hotel was perfect. It had access to all locations. Any requests were considered within their capacity. The chef actually attended to our request for less spicy food. I forgot to add this. Their double beds are good, and we don't get any backache if that matters to you.

Far Better Hotel compare to Near By Hotel Like Nehru. Good Services , cleaning, Breakfast, Staff everything is good. Value for money.

I gave 3 star just for the staff because they are well behaving otherwise hotel has not been renovated since ages I think ....if uh get it for 2000-2500 get it otherwise no ...it doesn't give the premium vibe gysers are not working heating facilities are not proper. But the staff is good

Superb hotel in front of Dal Lake (near ghat no. 13). The manager Zahid Wani is very practical, helpful and friendly person. Their service is also top notch like almost a 4 star hotel but at very affordable prices. Very neat and clean rooms, bathrooms & hotel with lift facility. My special thanks to Zahid Wani who is taking care of all requirements.

Not so good not so bad hotel. Room space is sufficient. Hot water is an issue. No extra plus for charging which is necessity in today's world. Ambience is ok type. If you dont want to spend much and needed only for night stay one may consider.

I stayed here with my family for 2 days in June and really like the location / Rooms and other services ..even food was good too.. however some room like 301 does not have charging socket and other basic things but overall it's a nice hotel to stay infront of dull lake..must go for it ..

Rooms facing Dal lake have excellent views. Hygiene is compromised in many aspects. Some of the toilet fittings need urgent replacement. However, not a bad place to stay considering the moderate cost and prime location.

This Hotel is the fantastic of all this hotel is opposite to ghat no 13 , the rooms are very spacious , decorated , well ventilated . The staff was good bring you the things at ones. The food facility was fabulous and the food was very yummy . Even this hotel also had there house boats. People who are reading my review I would suggest you all please book rooms in this hotel only

Decent old hotel.. Lake view rooms are good. Food is not at all good.. Service is quite late.. overall very average hotel though location is very good.

Rooms, staff hospitality, location everything was good, but I think food quality need to improve. They serve buffet breakfast but options are so limited. One more thing they does not have any option for evening snacks. We stayed there for 3 nights in April 2022, in that time we spend one full night with no electricity, they informed next day morning that it was hude load shedding in full srinagar, but there corridor light w, kitchen lights, dinning lights was on, they even doesn't provide any torch light or candle. Don't waste your money it is a 1-star hotel in a prime location with pathetic rooms staff and food. I have booked a room with breakfast firstly they denied my booking later gave me a room with the poor condition just like a store room. For breakfast, you would be served with cold bread and egg. That is the best the can offer you when you have paid for it. Look for some other property if you are not getting it for free.

This is an excellent hotel, excellent location, excellent view and excellent room size at this price point. We stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed dal view. I was bit confused initially by seeing old reviews but trust me those are too old one. Currently they have renovated the rooms with good furniture and everything is neat and clean. Provides bed heater(good enough), geyser in every room, room heater (on demand and availability), electric kettle is not provided but always ready to provide hot drinking water on call. Breakfast is buffet having 3-4 items like bread sandwiches, omelette, poha or Upma or poori, tea etc, which is good enough for this range of hotel. Restaurant has limited options but you have good food restaurants nearby and those deliver food directly to the hotel. Has Wi-Fi(ok ok range), power back up etc. Taxi stand is nearby, auto easily available outside hotel. At the end it’s has great dal lake view, neat and clean rooms and good breakfast which is good at this price, rest few things can be managed.

My experience with this hotel was very bad , to be specific its was worst. We stayed there for 3 days ,took 2 rooms for guests. Let me elaborate the experiences-- 1. We didnot get hot water as both the gijars were out of service. 2. All the food was over priced. Normal milk tea was rs 70/- and quality was worst. 3. Room service was suspicious, it was not clear to us.. .. We lost one gold earring, and a full bag of food. And they didn't even bothered about it. How can a whole bag of food was thrown away by the employees? The day we lost the earring they surprisingly cleaned just one of our rooms and left the other room uncleaned from where the ring was lost. 4. The lift was out of service now and then , it is dangerous for olderly persons . 5. Last but not the least, the account manager called us after 3 weeks of checking out , asking about clearance of payment which was already cleared at the moment of booking. How irresponsible and unprofessional they are! They dont know the meaning of checkout I presume. *I will suggest not to stay in this hotel for a flawless trip.*

Excellent stay during 21st to 25th Sept '23. Location is very nice. Everyone is taking care just like Home. Lobby was too good with architectural work spacious can easily seat more than 60 people at a time. Food is alo very good. Dal lake facing rooms are excelent. Scenarios are wonderful. One Medicine shop is located at the front. Entire Tour was organized by Zahid Sab , General Manager of Duke Hotel, six Month before we have booked the Duke Hotel& He has supported us just like a nice family friend. His contineous follow up was excellent. He is playing a nice role in the Duke Hotel for customer friendly as well as maintaining commitment without fail. Every guest will be satisfied by his behavior & support during Entire tour , Arrangement of Car, other locational site visit guidance was awesome. Zahid is an reliable & trusted person at Duke Hotel at Dal Lake, Sringar. Hope once again visit Srinagar & will stay at Duke Hotel based on Hospitality.
