Be sure before booking. They will tell you this is houseboat. But it is not actually a houseboat. This is a resort behind a houseboat. I booked and while went there I told them I don't want to stay. Then they changed me for boat. And even they don't say a single sorry. And the manager behavior is rude.

Dal lake water is soo dirty. I can't even touch or want to see. What ever u expect from this hotel ,It's not lik that. Dont book hotel online . 1st visit here then book. Never book hotel inside dal lake. Always book on road hotels.

We stayed at Dal View Resort on 24th and 25th October, 2023 in a 5 beded family room with cozy bed and all basic facilities. It is a resort but you can say House boat because it is located behind the house boats. They provided us free sikara for up and down journey every day while we were going to sight seeing. They also provided us nice food and snacks through buffet. Their service was just tremendous and memorable for us. We paid only Rs. 3500.00 per night with breakfast and dinner.

We stayed there from 15 Nov to 18 Nov but it is very bad experience every morning we didn't get cold water as well as hot water It is very pity to live there for 4 days Do not book this because it gives the address opposite ghat No 17 but actually it not a resort or hotel it is house boat .If you want go to sri nagar market you can not go because nobody is available to drop you to this houseboat .The boat man also asked for money for dropping there. Food quality is also not that much good . You can't get hot water at any time. There is no heater in the room and they do not give hot water bag . We booked 2 rooms with 4 beds and 3 beds but they give just one hot water bag. No body gives proper reply Many visitors left the hotel due to many problems I request you not to book this hotel because it is not on the road it is inside the hotel so of you want to go out you have come out by boat and for that you have wait for 1 hour every time . In the night there is always noise so you can't sleep properly. Breakfast is not ready till 8.30 so you can't go to Gulmarg or Pahelgam early . It is very bad experience please do not book .

I like the house boat place with good food good service, all sikhara guys and houseboats cups were very polite with respect. I love the way they were giving respect to others. Sahil bhai was good.

We stayed for three nights, at the houseboat and their attached resort. The place is very homely. Good food. Definitely recommended if you want to try out a traditional experience. Sahil Bhai takes care of all needs.

Very unhygienic and dirty. You can see all black spots on the shower curtain. There were hair everywhere in the bathroom and even on requesting it wasn’t cleaned. The carpet was dirty. The bed sheets smelled.

Stay is very good, the owner is very helpful and the staff is too supportive as well. Service is excellent and the food is too tasty..... Worth the stay at this place....

Most of the time power wont be there. For getting hot water in bathroom is a big task. Rooms are average only.

Please don't visit this resort. Poor room maintenance and bad washroom. The water leaks from flushing and its all over the floor The cable TV hasn't been recharged. The cloth hanger and the wooden box not available how the dress keep . Behavior of staff is typically hyper on the room service. Very bad hotel

Highly over-rated. One can take 1 hour dal lake ride. Staying in a boat house is not needed as facilities are highly inadequate. Space is shared by multiple families which is not preferable.

I feel that the price is a little to the higher edge. The managerial staff is generous enough to readily furnish any extra service. Urgent need to change the bedding and upgrade the buffet especially in non veg.

The resort is simply fabulous including the interiors and all staffs. Place is really quite and calm. Close to city. But the view is simply breathtaking. Foods are awesome. Kashmiri Kahwa is a must try thing here. Very unique. People including Sahil, Tanvir, Altaf, Bashir are like brothers.

We booked the family room, it was huge. Hospitality is great, maintenance is decent, food is really good, and it's a very budget stay. The USP of the place is the amazing views of the Zabarwan mountains from the front deck. Will recommend staying here for the views and hospitality.

Stayed at dal view resort for 2 nights.. Staff- Altaf were very co operative and quick to service. Food was homely and tasty. Rooms were clean and hot water was available. Shikara was available on time. Sajad was available on time for Shikara ride and explained places nicely

We experienced an incredible stay at Dal View Resort. Staffs were very hospitable and went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant . We were a team of 28 , but they were exceptionally efficient in serving us. Mr.Abdul, Mr.Sahil were such delightful souls. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Srinagar.
