It's a memorable stay, you must experience once in your life. The ambiance was good and the food quality was just below average. Staff behaviour was also not good. They were not cooperative.

We stayed in this house boat from 11th November to 12th November and we’re very disappointed It was bone chilling cold and no heaters all night long we got sick and our vacation was spoilt , when we were checking out the next day the owners made false promise that they will make Sure the heaters will Work and we believed them and same no heater all night long and all out attempts to reach them failed Very dissatisfied our whole vacation was spoilt Please be careful before booking and false Promises

Good - Ambience, view from houseboat, cleanliness, service from staff, safety Average - Food (basic home food) Bad - owner unreachable to phone (on first day), extra charge on room heater Overall - Good, but not value for money.

My stay at Sikandra is a WOW experience. Shikhara pick & drop, centralised warm room, TV and simple food are the best in my list. Zahid (the handsome and very empathetic person) is so professional and manages this pretty well. He also gets shikara packages at cheaper prices (compared to direct negotiations). Worth staying. Plus the experienced Iqbal Bhai is so customer centric

House boat owner is too bad , behaviour is unacceptable and always sit in front of the gate of house boat and prompt to every person in various matters. Shikara ride over money , and insist to every tourist for ride. If you want to take any evening snacks with extra pay you can not take it . Say to every tourist for bathroom dry , and don’t bath at bathrooms floor . Our tourist partner was make my trip Food was bad also Staff behaviour was very bad

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Sikandra Palace house boat. I booked 2 rooms for 4 of us to stay for 1 night. The caretaker (Iqbal) took care of us really well. The food was simple and very tasty. The food tasted like home made and was made with good care and with very little oil. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Overall we enjoyed our stay. I booked the rooms directly with Zahid (owner of the house boat). He provided all the help needed for the booking.

I had a wonderful experience staying at this place. Mr. Iqbal ensured that we do not face any issues in our stay and was always available. His humbleness and politeness was unmatchable. Lastly a special thanks to the CHEF "Mr Nasir" - the taste of the food was absolutely delicious be it whether veg or non veg. The type of food he prepared was much above par. We really enjoyed our stay and their service. Will surely recommend this houseboat to everyone.

We stayed for a day that was nice experience. Property is well maintained by their team. Room is very cozy very beautiful. BUT very very big but is that they provide you gyzer and you get hot water but the water have foul smell and greenish in colour may be it's directly came from lake!! Don't know but over all you should try for once.

It was a great experience staying in baot house. The room and the boat house are well maintained and so clean.There was No Noise as it's far from the main Raod.Got a nice view of the lake with some good homely food.Mr Meharaz was such a gentleman. He arranged everything we asked for. Thank for hospitality you provided on those days. :)

We liked the location and view it offered. The food served was delicious. Service was top notch. Breakfast was served in room as dining table was occupied by other guests. Interior looked exquisite. Clean place. Barring two sales person the other staff was helpful. The salesmen show up early in the morning and don't leave up until it's late in the night. If you ignore them then your stay is good. There were no electric blankets and the gas heater is for few hours in night. Mostly hot water bag is given for heating post midnight. The bathroom has leaky jet spray. The bathroom door can be locked from outside. All hot air escapes quickly through the bathroom. Main door not that safe to lock. Anyone can open it from outside. Would recommend as we didnt get any wrong vibe. Stay was good. Better suited for summers or mild winter.

House boat is very nice and service as well. Hotel staff Mehraj is very cooperative, nice behaviour and helpful nature and his service is extremely good 👍

Best place to stay in srinagar if you wish to stay in boat house. Polite staff. Fast and best service. Good food. Clean rooms and good location.

The stay was very pleasant. The people at this property welcome with warmth and love. Iqbal ji treats all the guests nicely and makes sure everything is taken care of. Food is so delicious and whole property is full of luxury whether the rooms or washrooms. I will visit again very soon. Thank you for the happy stay.

It was a disappointing experience at Shikandra Palace Group of Hotels. There was a frequent power cut in the house boats and help staff not bothered to check and moreover ROOM HEATER is not working at all. As we stayed during Nov which is the onset of Winter season, it was extremely chill and unable to bear the cold.
