Lovely people and lovely place to stay, this is one of those old world kashmir hotels which foreigners used to love, it is situated right by the Dal, nothing fancy, no frills but a decent budget place with a tiny lawn area and a private ghat that overlooks one of the waterways of the Dal.

Stay was ok, owner was greedy. Tried to fetch money as commission for sightseeing arrangements.

Fantastic experience, I stayed there for 4 nights and everything was well arranged. Rooms are cozy clean and very comfortable, Those who wish to stay in fancy luxury may not like this place but trust me this place is a gem. Owner and caretaker were amazing in proving local sightseeing tips. I would definitely recommend this place.

Hidden gem of Kashmir, rooms were clean and staff was cooperative, and the view from the hotel felt like we are living in a houseboat . 10/10 recommended 👌

Hellish Nightmare in Kashmir. The owner or his cousins are local goons. Have literally no respect for women and their guests. Verbally abusive to people after getting drunk. Almost had a physical fight with them. A big no to this one and any small hotel in that area. These goons are all relatives.

The hotel owner is very friendly and helpful. The hotel location is also too good. The lake view is amazing. Very affordable price. I will definitely visit again.

A very average place which doesn't provide a kettle or room heater in Srinagar winters. Electricity is not there most of the time like in most of the city. The floors didn't have carpets which helps to bear the cold weather like others hotels provide.
