It has green lawn with flowering plants.Nice rooms, friendly staff,secured parking,Free internet access,WiFi,Cold /hot water,TV,Arrangements for tours, taxis, shikaras and sight seeing in and around Srinagar,Own power generator. Doctor on request and so on............................ Owner Mr Rauf is a wonderful and cool person.He helped us in many ways We highly recommend this place for safe and memorable stay when you visit Sringar,kashmir

Everything about Hotel Swiss is wonderful! Excellent accommodation and location in Srinagar. The hotel is located on a quiet street yet just a few minutes walk from Dal Lake. Lovely garden for relaxing. Rouf, the manager, is so kind, charming and helpful. I will definitely stay in Swiss Hotel when I return to beautiful Kashmir!

Excellent service with no disturbance. Very friendly staff and excellent view and rooms are superb the furnishing is awesome. And there is separate arranged for sitting, altogether you can blindly trust and visit this hotel.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for five days last September. We found it to be the best budget hotel in Srinagar, offering quality rooms, particularly due to its proximity to the stunning Dal Lake on Boulevard Road. The hospitality and care shown by Mr. Rouf bhai, the owner, and the entire staff was truly commendable. We would also highly recommend trying their delicious food. Overall, our experience at this hotel and the interactions with the staff were among the few highlights of our Kashmir tour, leaving us with a positive impression. I must emphasize that throughout our entire Kashmir trip, Mr. Rouf bhai stood out as the only person who genuinely provided us with authentic suggestions, going above and beyond any business intentions. We would especially recommend anyone from Bangladesh to stay here. I would definitely stay there again on our next Kashmir trip.

Home away from home. Off the noisy main road. Very nice garden to sit in and chat with the friendly and very helpful owner Rouf and his assistant Altaf. Comfortable guesthouse style rooms with wood panelling. Recently renovated during COVID. Rouf and Altaf are an invaluable source of local knowledge and can help book day tours with private drivers. Ask them how much stuff should cost before you head out. They will tell you the proper prices. Also Roufs father has a small store on the second floor selling high quality pashminas at excellent prices. You will be very glad you stayed here.

We stayed at swiss hotel for 3 nights...and what a wonderful stay it was... Everyone at this beautiful property is soo helpful and goes out of their way to make you comfortable is commendable. The hotel is located just 5 mins walk from dal lake...rouf, the owner is a very sweet and hospitable guy..who is ready to help you in every way possible... Over all we loved our stay here...and would surely recommend this place without any apprehensions....

The hotel swiss is a quiet location close to attractions. The owner was helpful when he was there! Also he was disappointed to hear about issues and offered a partail refund without prompting - which was extremely kind. However the place is tired and dirty and is trading on its past. The rooms could do with a little tlc and clean. The beds are extremely uncomfortable with uber thin matresses and hard pillows. Lack of hot water was a probelm as the hotel only had hot water from 20.80pm to midnight. However, the coffee was exceptional good depending on who made it and this sums up the hotel - inconsistent. The nearby hotel brown Palace is much value in the same price range.

The hospitality was bang on...the staff is very supportive and the services were dotting.. It's easy to commute any where in the city, even the eating joints and Market is at walking distance.. I'll recommend everyone..

We really enjoy the time in SWISS Hotel. It’s located just off the noisy main road but very near to the lake. Really nice garden to sit in there with the friendly and very helpful owner Rouf, an extremely charm person and a rich source of local knowledge. You can be freely ask him how much stuff should cost before you head out. My son and daughter enjoy 😊 a lot the time with Rouf. The rooms are very comfortable and made in wood style. You will be very glad you stayed here.

The owner, Rouf, and the staff are very friendly, always smiling and ready to help you. They work towards enjoying your stay and vacation memorable. The location IS ideal, just close to the main lake. The room are very nice and confortable... and clean ! I warmly recommand this hotel !

I'am a overlanding traveler from germany (basically from switzerland ;) ) and took all the way from germany to india by Road. We regularly stay in or at hotels to wash clothes, shower, sleep and whatever necessary at the moment. We stayed here for four days and we are super happy that we found this place off the very loud and disturbing main road. The Rooms are very nice and wooden and there is a western Toilet in the clean bathroom! Also they have a huge and quiet Garden which invites to hang around! Staff is super friendly and price is reasonable for this area. there is also a nice foyer and fast Internet (50Mbit) which i used for remote working in my job. We saw many hotels so far and sometimes i write detailed ratings, because of some excellence service or quality, so i did here. Thank you for having us!

I stayed at Swiss Hotel Kashmir for 5 nights in August and I was there in 2013, too. If you're looking for a safe haven in Srinagar without being ripped off this is the place to go. Wifi, hot water were never an issue. Rouf, the manager and owner, is the best asset and is always there at the reception desk/communal lounge for help, information (no commission!) and anything you may need to know. The no frills hotel is in a quiet and safe neighborhood in upper Boulevard parallel street. Restaurants, shops and taxi stand are within walking distance. So, is the Lakeside Promenade.

The owner and staff are a pleasure to talk to. They make your stay comfortable and work towards enjoying your stay and vacation memorable. Raof's knowledge on trekking and driving routes are a great help. He treated us as family. Will go back here.
