We Had the best time here The owner was too polite and Humble. This houseboat contains so many facilities like wifi , hot water , traditional kashmiri food and the design of this house boat is based on kashmiri designs.

I've been dreaming of a houseboat stay for a long time, but there are so many things that need to be considered. When I arrived, I was greeted by Asif, the owner himself . They have been very friendly and efficient throughout the process. The room was nice and big just like the photos. It also had its cute little bath tub in the bathroom which was great. The location of the houseboats is great because it's quite and away from croud. It gives you an amazing view of the lake, with backdrop of mountains, and lots of greenery. Overall, I had a great experience living on a houseboat.

I didn't generaly give reviews but for this specific trip i want to say about house boat facilities. 1.Honestly speaking,Very polite and good staff of this houseboat, 2.Interior of house boat very posh.Royale feeling. 3.service is very good,very helpfull,also help us when fall sick after travel tiredness. 4.arranged all our travel including stay,taxis food etc.. Highly recommended if anytime want to visit srinagar, 5.Shikara ride offered free to us.. Thanks.

We spent a night at the Palace heights houseboat and what a memorable experience we had! Perfect location, top notch hospitality and home like food made it a fantastic trip. I strongly recommend this houseboat for a lifetime experience 👍🏻

Iam had a super amazing in Palace Heights Houseboat. The family of the place make me feel like Iam at home. They are extremley friendly! The room where I was staying in is very beautiful. The room has an amazing view on the lake and the mountains. What I also loved about the room is that the bed is very very comfortable! The bed is huge and easly 3 people fit in the bed. When you want to work its also a great place because the internet is very fast (5g fiber internet). The terrace in the living area are also really nice. The terrace has a very beautiful view on the mountains and the lake. What I also like is that there are no other houseboats in front so that makes the view for sunsets fantastic! The best of all is the owners are extremly friendly and they really make you feel at home! Hope to see you one day in the netherlands!

As soon as we enter a small boat called shikara, it gave us an awesome feel. We always preferred food from the boathouse which was always freshly cooked. They always have meals made to order, which means fresh meals... The breathtaking view of mountains and hari parbat fort and evening stay in front of the houseboat with a lake view is very relaxing... I will certainly recommend more guests for Houseboat Palace Heights...

Great place to stay and relax in Srinagar. Very welcoming people. Beautiful view on the lake and mountains. Free wifi in common space and free boat available to ride. Stayed there 4 days and will be happy to come back one day.

The place was great, luxurious (though I didn't get to compare with any other houseboats) but I had the feeling to have been ripped off. After asking for the cheapest option, they put in a room for 1200 a night. When I decided to check out the next morning due to low budget reasons, they insisted that I move into a cheaper room for 800, which apparently didn't exist the night before. The food was alright, but not great for what I had been promised. I wouldn't come back here as a budget traveler. Best for other type of tourists

I lived such a great experience in Palace Heights House Boats. I was always treated as a special guest. Even under very hard weather for a few days and lots of snow they kept the hostility and the family feeling. The accommodation is very good as well as the food. The boat trip is a must to do! I definitely want to go back. Highly recommended!

It was very kind of the family to give us (2 people) a room in their own big house for a... normal price I would say. They offered us food for 3 times a day. Breakfast was the best, because I am not used to eat 1kg Rice a day. So for breakfast I ate omelett and toast. Lunch and dinner was also good, no question. The room itself was small, not very good isolated and not very clean. No warm water in the bathroom, but they offered us to take a warm bucket shower in another room. There's a very nice and peaceful view over the lake inbetween the house boats.

For anyone wanting to experience Kashmir at it's most authentic, I recommend staying at Palace Heights Houseboats. The highlight of my visit was the warm welcome I received from Habib and his family. They went to great lengths to make sure I saw everything I should in Srinagar, and were excellent tour guides. The houseboats themselves are beautifully ornate, and offer peaceful views of Dal Lake. I found the area safe enough to run on my own Habib was also able to connect me with a family located in Gund (deeper into the Himalayas), where I stayed an additional three days. Habib and his family did all they could to ensure I enjoyed my stay, and I'm very grateful for their hospitality.

The family of this company warmly welcomed us from day one. We didn't feel alone for a second. it was a very nice atmosphere. we were helped in every way. we were advised in detail regarding the different parts of the city and could also directly book a driver who took us anywhere we want. they were all very nice and very accommodating. During the whole time we felt very well looked after and hope to be able to travel there again soon. They prepared the food every day fresh and it was delicious too. We were constantly served and we didn't miss anything. The rooms were very clean and tidy. We felt very well and comfortable with staying there. We also had a great view of the lake. It was a nice experience. I highly recommend this houseboat. Anyone who travels to Kashmir should stay there. The people were very helpful and welcomed us really so warm.

The family was extremely welcoming and heartfelt. They definitely did their best to make me feel as home and enjoy my time, and this is an awesome place to stay, if you want to learn about the culture and customs of Kashmir. This is also a great place to make some shopping for souveniers, as there would be many artisans, craftsmen and merchants, who would visit the boat for business, as they're passing by with their boats. The food is simple and tasty home food, and the hosts are open for requests, should the guest have something special in their mind. The Kashmiri tea, kahwah, is yummy here! The location is brilliant, and in the houseboat terrace you can see (and hear) the whole lake and the surrounding mountains. It is truly magnificent! The only issue was that during winter time the heating is done with a wood stove, due to limited power supply in Kashmir, so it may get a little cold in the morning when the fire is out. Also because of the stove, there would be some smoke in the room, depending on the weather, so be prepared to do some laundry after your stay. Obviously, these would not be issues during the summer. Overall, a brilliant place to stay, thank you very much! I would definitely recommend this houseboat for everybody.

They say Kashmir is heaven, if you wanna feel it come to Palace Heights Houseboats.... With delicious kashmiri cuisine and with great staff, they make us feel like home. Around you see a beautiful culture of Kashmir. They provide wifi, hot furnaces to keep you warm. If you want to feel like having another family they are here for you..... always.

Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. We stayed in the houseboat for atleast a week and I am very much pleased with the ambience, especially food as it was made as per our choice. Also liked the fact that the owner of the houseboat arranged the whole tour and guided us properly. I would say that they are one of the very best organizers for this type of tourism. I would suggest everyone to visit here atleast once. Thanks for making our visit to Kashmir that much better. And one special thanks to Tanveer and Asif bhai!!!!
