People are destroying the place with plastic and chappals everywhere. And there is no maintenance by the Govt. So we need to take care of ourselves by throwing plastic in dustbins. And destroying Bamboo trees for trekking. advice: 1.better to go with shoes, no slippers or sandals because Rocky places it hurts legs. 2. Carry water bottle with Electrolyte or glucose related products

I have visited this place 12 April 2019. went there for the experience of sand roads :) slope steps and slide way to walk carefully .The road is amazing and thrill and cheerful with slopes and short road turnings only in mud road in sand red color . If rains , there is no chance to get faster as we enter. Its not possible during the rain time journey. Best at No 1.Parking Available 2.Food 3. Water 4. Greenery 5. Trebles are unbelievable.

It's a sacred place which allows devotees to the temple only for 5 days i. e, two days before and after chaithra pournima every year. The pournima comes after sri rama navami every year. One has to walk deep into the nallamalla forest for around 4 kms to reach the temple. Climbing up and down through the forest is breathtaking. After reaching the temple there is a waterfall you can have a holy bath and go for darshan.

Natural formation of Siva Linga in caves wonders you lot. Good place for Trekking Lovers. Chanting Om Namah Sivaya keeps your mind relax and to forget your body pains while trekking. One should visit in life time. Both Nature Lovers and God believers. Route Hyderabad to Srisailam

I had the pleasure of visiting the Saleshwaram Temple, and it was truly a memorable experience. You will definitely get struck by the natural beauty that surrounded the temple. The hilltop location provides a stunning view of the surrounding greenery and landscape, which was a welcome change from the hustle and bustle of city life. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, The story behind the installation of the lingams is fascinating, and it was awe-inspiring to be in the presence of such a significant and historical site. One of the highlights of my visit was the natural spring located within the temple complex. It is believed to have healing properties, and I felt a sense of calm and rejuvenation just being near it. Overall, my visit to the Saleshwaram Temple was a spiritual and cultural experience that I will never forget. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to escape the chaos of city life and connect with their inner self.

Wonderful place in mid Nallamala forest, on the way to Srishailsm. Highly dangerous too.. Pilgrims are allowed only 3days in a year. This (2023) year 4 lakh people visited in 3days. Pure air.. pure water. Lord Lingamaiah (shiva) is there. Mini Water fall is there down the hills. 6km walking in the dangerous ghats. In the 6km more distance is Trekking part.. so this is not advisable for everyone. 3people died this year due to heavy crowd n Stampede.

Saleshwaram Lingamayya Swamy is situated in Nallamala forest we need to travel 20km inside the forest by private or public transport after that need to walk 1km or can take auto from parking. Now the actual trekking starts we need to walk around 5km to reach the Lingamayya Swamy temple where we need to cross two mountains which are parallelly located. First we need to come down from the mountain and then we need to climb another mountain again we need to go down the mountain and we finally reach the Lingamayya caves where we can find water coming down from top of the mountain, by passing through we can reach the Lingamayya swamy. we are unlucky as we didn't worship the Lingamayya swamy due to heavy rush on first day of this year. No proper planning from forest department and government due to which huge public as been came for the lord worship reached the cave. Many people wanted to spend time near the Lingamayya swamy due to there was completely blockage if way due to this it took lot of time to clear. If there was proper planning everyone have worshipped Lingamayya swamy, even everyone came from long distance to worship the lord if there was proper planning we had worship the lord. As it is Tiger Reserve Forest this might be the reason for Undevelopment of this place. For protection of wild life they might been avoided the development.
