Such a beautiful place and lifts the spirits. Thank you to all those who work hard to maintain it.

Used to love this place but they no longer want picnics, pictures taken, kids having fun. Volunteers treated like disposable rags. So many "do not do signs" and gates to the back sections are now locked to keep skiers out. Walk through (quietly) in summer and see nice gardens, but do not stay too long. Hopefully leadership changes and they return to a welcoming place again.

Have been to these gardens on many occasions. So well kept by knowledgeable, caring volunteers. It's the end of the season, so very little to see in their extensive rose gardens. There is a cosy eating area and adjoining gift shop. A walking trail borders the Botanical Gardens to sneak in a little extra exercise.

A delightful little gem in St. Albert! The variety of plants they have and care they put into maintaining the garden is surprising for a place that does not charge admission. A lot of the plants are carefully labeled, which is great if you want to find a plant to add to your garden. My favourite is the English Garden, but all areas are beautiful. We visited on the last weekend in May. A few peonies started opening up, but the main attraction for me were all the blooming lilacs! The smell was heavenly! As the summer progresses, there will be something new to admire in this garden and I will come back for more visits.

Quite possibly my favorite ace I'm St. Albert, a gorgeous gem on the red willow trail system. Don't forget to stop in the gift shop to get and ice cream to enjoy while you enjoy the flowers

Beautiful garden dedicated to the collection, cultivation and display of a wide range of plants labelled with different names. It is well maintained but feels like this time (in October) is not best suited to see flowers blooming, and trees with fruits. Never mind, we will visit again 😊❀️

I took my 85 yr old mom for a stroll with her walker. It made her so happy. There were plenty of benches where she could sit in the shade too. She loves plants and flowers.

Great park to look at all the nice flowers. Got married here last year and I am super happy with how everything turned out! Highly recommend visiting if you are in St Albert.

The gardens, though small carry a distinct level of beauty and romance. They are an incredibly romantic spot for a quite picnic with their many tucked away picnic tables. The charm of their tranquil seclusion is especially prevalent in the evenings right before closing or in the early morning mist. What a gem to be treasured by all. May we remember each bulb is hand planted by many volunteers each year and thank them for such a lovely addition to the city.

I always love walks here. Each season brings a new lease of life, smells and colours. The shop has opening hours but you can go walking in the gardens whenever for free.

the samll bridge over the river was cute and the flowers outside the park are more than the inside of the park. wasn't crowded, and the fountain was closed and covered for some reason. The gift shop was closed too

We love this park, we come here multiple times per year. Lovely to see all the flowers and trees, peaceful walk and lots of squirrels around. Family friendly, lots of people take photos around the park.

Beautiful atmosphere. Could be visited at different times in flowering season to get the best of all the blooms. Would love to go when the lilac section is in bloom. The rose garden smelled luscious! It was a hot day with a surprising amount of mosquitoes. Suggested that they sell mosquito repellent at the gift shop, which was full of beautiful items, though a bit pricey for me.

The volunteers here have created this little gem of an attraction in the heart St. Albert. Tired or watching baseball walk over to the botanical garden you’ll find a lovely treat!

Absolutely beautiful place, with huge variety of flowers& colors, and quiet from being along a less used road. Wonderful for a peaceful solo walk, for a date or family bonding, or even with a friend group or activity-group you are part of, especially because it's free and opened all day(sunrise-11pm like all st.a parks) Most definitely worth checking out, whether it will be your first or 100th time, it's always lovely !

This is one of my favourite places to come to smell, enjoy the colours and buy some flowers. I love the energy around this place. It's nice to have a picnic there. Also love to come by myself and spend time in nature inspired by the beauty around. Lilacs and lilies are something when they are in bloom. Recommend to my friends as one of my favs

Wonderful garden plots, well laid out, beautiful flowers, trees and shrubs of all kinds that can be grown here in Alberta. Can give you inspiration for your own garden at home. Gardens are all done by volunteers. Definitely a place for pictures, and pleasant walk.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ I've walked here twice in the last week! Its so lovely! The rivers right near buy, and you can play pooh sticks on the bride. A st.albert institution. Also there's picnic tables, and you know, other stuff you see in parks. No playgrounds though. Just lovely trees and water. Enjoy!
