What a wonderful experience! Our first time and first date night in awhile... it was incredible. The service was some of the best that we have ever had. The atmosphere is relaxed & beautiful. They had an awesome special on that gives you a bottle of wine and quite a few dishes for only $60. Every we tried was unique and bursting with flavors. Highly recommend!!

Came here with my boyfriend for some drinks and good eats and was not disappointed. My uncultured palette does not handle red wines well. In all honestly I prefer sweet wines and cocktails. However, we ordered our food and drinks based solely on recommendations and I was so blown away. The wine pairs so well with the food that I had Ayaka pouring me drinks all night. Come here alone, with one other, or a group and you’ll leave happy every time.

I have been hearing about this place and decided to give it a try. Extremely friendly staff and the food is amazing. We ordered a bunch of stuff and family style hosing a party at home. They were on time for pick, the order was perfect and no errors, food were amazing. And the take out packages packed tight and packed very well. Highly recommended this place. Would love to try the paella next time. Hard to find a good paella place in Alberta.

I will start with the punch line: We are so fortunate to have Bodega in St Albert. Or anywhere for that matter. This is one of the best restaurants we have ever been to. I think we have been maybe 10 times and it is nowhere near enough. We have never felt so delighted to be at a restaurant and we cannot get enough. The ambiance, the food, the service is just unbeatable. There is a gentleman named Olofee who is not only extremely helpful and pleasant, he is also a very high level host and server. He knows his food and wine and makes the experience speical. We cannot recommend Bodega in St Albert enough. See you soon Olofee!

The food here is fantastic especially if you're a seafood lover. It's unfortunate that reservations are not taken for parties less than 6, but it's still worth going to and there are other locations located in the city. Highly recommended.

Very nice, but not 5 start for value. It's a beautiful restaurant with a warm atmosphere and friendly staff. Food is mainly tapas as if you were in Spain. Happy hour had deals on wine, by the glass or the bottle; half price. We really enjoyed ourselves but it struck me as a bit pricey for what you got. A treat for sure.

Made a reservation for 5 for a special occasion, but there ended up being 8 of us. Even though it was super busy the staff accommodated our larger group after a bit of a wait for another table to leave which we were really thankful for. Our server was AMAZING, we really enjoyed her (she was super funny and personable) and the food was great. Would go back again!

I had heard many different sources tell me about how good this place was. I am always a little hesitant about eating out, but from the first moment we entered the BODEGA the staff never let us down. They guided us from entry, to the bar, to our reservation table. Every moment in the experience was positively thought out. The Food was carefully crafted and did not disappoint. Every bite was delicious. The atmosphere was warm and comforting. The experience transports the guest into a beautifully crafted spanish environment which is uniquely BODEGA. This restaurant should be on everybody's must visit lists.

This place is cozy, not crazy expensive, and so delicious! This was our 2nd time there and wow it just blew us away again. We ordered the surf n turf platter and each had 2 alcoholic drinks and our bill was around $120. Amazing! Can't wait to come again!

Bodega (St. Albert) graciously hosted my sister's wedding reception recently; it was incredible. I remember arriving at the restaurant an hour into the reception, and the vibe was set brilliantly — with excellent cocktails and the best charcuterie I've ever had. The dinner that followed was undoubtedly the best dinner at a wedding reception that I've experienced; from the service to the food, everything was perfect. Each time a new dish arrived, it seemed like every table got it at the same time, with nobody left waiting. All of the guests at the wedding that I knew have been talking about this meal for the weeks that have followed. Most importantly, I'll never forget how happy my sister was that night. O and his team set the bar so high, and it turns out, this was their first time hosting a wedding reception. Unreal. If you are ever in the area and looking to go out for a nice meal, you have to go here.

I love Bodega. It’s the best restaurant in St Albert without a doubt. The food is so delicious and well presented. The tapas and small plates are the type of food you would never prepare yourself. They are prepared with exceptional skill and so tasty. I think we have tried just about everything on the menu and loved every single dish. The wine selection is fantastic though not huge. I always order a bottle of wine from the list on the blackboard and pick something new that I’ve never tried before. I’m never disappointed. They have a limited but great selection of wines that always impresses me. Their wines compliment the food so well too. The atmosphere is friendly with a happy upbeat vibe including good music. The staff are attentive and well trained. We go to Bodega at least once a month because it’s fun and delicious.

Had the pleasure of coming here twice for different occasions in the past week. Absolutely wonderful experience! The food is delicious and great portions, more than I was expecting and definitely better portions than at other tapas places I've been too. My server on both occasions was Michelle, who is incredibly knowledgeable about the different dishes and wines. Our other server, who I think may have been the owner, was fantastic and incredibly gracious, even after our friend who made the reservation mistook the closing time and he allowed us to stay past closing time to finish our meal. Wonderful place, so glad to see they've been able to survive the pandemic.

We felt like we were in Spain again as we sampled the delicious authentic Spanish food at the Bodega. We tried the 8 tapas and bottle of wine for $80. They offered 3 white wines and 3 reds in the deal. It is plenty of food for two. We added some bread and curry eggplant spread.

This is our second time here and it was just as good as the first. The food is fantastic, the servers helpful and engaging. My wife and I shared a number of small plates (the sardines are wonderful) and their seafood paella. Portions are generous, we had enough left over to have lunch the next day!

Literally amazing. Food and drinks are to die for. The beer is excellent, and I would recommend getting the risotto and paella. Everything from the drinks to dessert is chef kisses. The waiter which i did it gave the chance to get his name was AMAZING. It gives the impressions that he was also the manger but beside the point, his customer service was impeccable. I wish I could give him and the restaurant more than 5 stars. Would recommend 10/10.

What an amazing restaurant in St Albert. Great place for wine and tapas with friends and/or family. Note that: “Groups of four or more will only be seated upon arrival of all guests.” This is straight off the St Albert Bodega website. The service is great and the food is even better. If you’re looking for a nice place to eat with a group of people in St. Albert, this is the place for you. The decor on the walls is unique and fun to look at while you enjoy your drinks and food. The bruschetta is to die for.

Oh my gosh!! Everything about this place was perfect, such an amazing balance of class and elegance with comfort and relaxation. You don’t need to wear a suit or dress but if you want to you’re not out of place. The staff is genuinely friendly and knowledgeable, they explain the menu so well you have a hard time picking what to eat. Their house wine was refreshing and borderline dangerous with how quickly it can go down. From apps to mains everything was amazing, you can tell the food is prepared with love and the flavours are incredible. We would highly recommend The Bodega in St Albert to anyone and everyone.

Went in during happy hour, only time it will not be packed. Food the great - those mushroom-risotto balls were AMAZING! Our server was great!

If I could give 10 stars I would.. what an experience! One of the best foods I've ever had! The mussels, the prawns, the tuna salad, one dish better than the other. And the service? Jack our waiter was so awesome, spontaneous, funny, respectful, kind, we also had other waiters helping us and they were all amazing people, we actually asked to see the manager to congratulate him about the team! Check put the specials everyday, they are really worth it to try! I will come back to Bodega again very soon!

Service & food were fantastic! Had such a great first time experience here. It was hard to decide what to eat, with all the delicious choices on the menu. One of the best of the night was the bacon wrapped, cheese stuffed dates. Only caution is they don't take reservations. Get there early, or be prepared to wait. But well worth the wait!
