Habitat does a lot of great things for the community and I have long tried to support them therefore the one star instead of nothing however on their selves I saw bean bag tablet holders I thought they looked great and would be a great gift so I purchased three of them however when I got to the car I saw a warning label on it that said there was a chemical in it that has been known to cause cancer and miscarriages and sterilization I immediately went back into the store and brought this to the attention to the manager who graciously refunded me my money I thought that would be the end of it and such a potentially dangerous product would be removed from the shelves however I went back there today and saw that they were still on the shelves and nothing had been done I again brought it to the staff's attention and I was informed that they would stay there until sold. I was very disappointed as the warning clearly states this could be dangerous I have included a photo one star!

It's a nice store to pick up used furniture at a reasonable prices. There were many kitchen cabinets included the granite counter tops. You can measure your kitchen and see if you can find a complete one to fit at a very good price. There are some new items, light fixtures and other things also. You can pick up used doors at good prices. There are plumbing supplies, dining sets, office furniture, appliances, portable air conditions and laminate boxes. Staff is very friendly and helpful. You can donate yourself like kitchen cabinets and other things. They can come with their truck and pick up the big items from your home including removing the kitchen cabinets.

It was affordable months ago but items are now a little pricey. Used chairs are $20 each. Hope they will make it affordable so people who need second hand building supplies & furnitures can buy it & use it in their homes. The girl on the counter who decide the price of an item, is rude & she priced an item so high for a second hand furniture ($125 for a small hutch).

My previous payment for a dining room light fixture was amazing and is perfect in my new-build apartment. I was looking for a bookshelf recently, and I was a little disappointed as to the pricing of a simple press board bookshelf. However, I do understand that monies most certainly go toward a much-needed cause. Staff were welcoming and cordial.

The used pieces, are priced to reflect retail prices from 2000. Sure they are cheaper than current retail, however there doesn't seem to be any value buying recycled, other than saving them from landfill. Now the Re-Store is putting a premium price tag on a waste diversion program. And the staff is volunteers. Ouch. They closed their restrooms off from the public, and divert those who ask, to use their neighbours' facilities. How stringy can this organization become to pad their expense accounts?

Picked up this beautiful piece from the restore in St. Catharines for a great price. We needed more storage space and I’ve been wanting a wine rack so this was the perfect little project. I always love shopping here! The staff are so friendly and helpful, you can tell they are passionate about what they do!

The store was clean and organized. Staff were friendly and welcoming. When we made our purchase there was staff on hand to help load the kitchen. We couldn't ask for better.

ALWAYS Google their prices. Sooo often they are charging retail prices. Thompsons Waterseal $45... same as retail. An old miter box $10... new miter box $9.95 at Rona down the street

Prices going up and up. And people are focused on profit too much and they are ride to customers. Buying online or from other location much better. Dont waste your time and money in this location

Needed Help with furniture donation,..& ALL they gave me was a Old couch i guess no body wanted... So they give iT to me...i Was So grateful at first... Now it's become a NIGHTMARE 😭...As ALL i Got was a insect infested couch... Now I'm FULL OF BITE'S & Stuck with getting rid of This lump of JUNK!:( I would Not Of ever Of asked Them for help, but i have no one else... Cause they ONLY HELP THOSE WITH MONEY!🤬😢...OR THEMSELVES, Friends Or family Of people working There... iT Seems!:( Thanks for nothing but Hell! ****BED BUGS INFESTATION!!!!.. BE AWARE...& They Do NOTHING About Rectifying the situation & the furniture Was BOUGHT,.. NOT DONATED!😠😤😬☹️...I AM DISGUSTED WITH THERE CONDUCT & MANNERS....& 'Mark Carl', you call urself a Manager! Pleasant and helpful staff. Many new and used items at reasonable prices . A public washroom would be nice as one can spend a great deal of time looking about.

It's a great place with great people volunteering for an awesome charity so go in and buy something. Seriously even if you don't need anything buy something don't be a @$_& ! Can't say enough nice things about this location and any other !

So this store used to be great for us repurposers and those on a tighter budget. First time back since covid and quite frankly I am shocked at the increased prices. Some were the same as buying new and the stock and selection were extremely poor. So disappointed in the direction this store has taken. They have new clothing and trinkets now but that was really not the purpose of this store to begin with. Pricewise I will give you a few examples. Used cans of paint at between $20 and $30. Kitchen sets were all over $2,000, Bathroom vanity (no sink or mirror) $199. Fonthill and Grimsby may be different but St Catharines location is nowhere near what it used to be. My renovators heart is so sad.

Tina went above and beyond when I inquired about an item. Since it was a bit of a drive for us - I wanted to make sure the item was exactly what I was looking for. Thank you Tina! Picked up the item on Saturday and the staff was amazing to deal with. Wife and I walked around the store as well and had to hold her back as she wanted to buy that vintage looking sewing machine :D Thanks again to this team! Most esp Tina!

Very rude staff. Have some manners it is received by donations. Should consider negotiation with price.

A wonderful place to donate but they make you wait all day for a 15 minute pickup. Won’t give you any 5 0r 6 hr. time frame. The store is wonderful, I have brought many low income people to find furnishings. Prices are ok but not very cheap.

I'm so disappointed with this store I decided to go in and see if I could give back to help out. Everything is over priced. The average price was only $2 to $3 less then new. Now what a store that is suppose so help should be

I've found some great deals here. Always something different. Sad to say the prices have really gone up over the last couple years. If you sign up to their website you'll get notifications about sales. Up to 50% off the already low prices.

If I could’ve rated this place Zero I would have. My mother whom is hard of hearing was trying to buy a Couch, tv stand, dresser, coffee table and a few little items for moving the lady with Pink hair REFUSED her sale because it was 5:02.. in certain cases I’d understand if it was taken in the proper approach. My mother could not hear the lady and she started to approach her stating she needs to leave, and again my mother cannot hear. So the lady was more aggressive about it. Thankfully my husband was there to help my mom start to leave and then came and found me, and then I got to experience her lovely customer service skills.. please if you cannot handle working with the public. Don’t. They definitely just lost out on a huge sale.
