Once again! Today, April 10, 2022! Kiska tried to harm HERSELF again! She has been alone for decades! The park has been banned from allowing the animals to do any shows, it is now ILLEGAL!. She stays alone in her small tank everyday! Parents please, don’t teach your kids that captivity is okay, teach them compassion! These animals deserve to be free!! Please sign all petitions you can find to help #freekiska

Never been there and I will never go there. This place is a terrible theme park where they hold poor sea creatures hostile in miniscule tanks and force them to do useless tricks for money and crowd amusement. Please, do NOT support this cruel business, if you wish to visit this place, you are only fueling the cycle of greed and animal abuse! Think twice before visiting this trashy park! No one loves MarineLand!

Horrible conditions for the animals. If you are a tourist looking for stuff to do, stay far away from this attraction. There are a hundred better things to do and see in town.

As a kid of the 90s, I remember the enthusiasm and excitement that the catchy jingle triggered on the commercials as i watch my cartoons. They portrayed a vibrant and exhilarating place, a must do location to see orcas and seals. I finally got to visit with my family, and the place was haunted by the ghosts of glories past. The entire park felt like it's clinging onto the last few threads of existence. The sprawling parking lot had more weeds than cars. It should be noted that the staff are friendly and the Dolphin show were entertaining. Albeit for the 8 spectators watching. Half the rides weren't operational. Maybe it was due to going on a weekday while school was still on, and shortly after 2 years of covid. Perhaps a visit during peak season would get a different review from me. Based on my visit however, it was a once mighty attraction which is limping forward on the reputation of the past.

We really enjoyed. buy 1 season ticket and you can walk at least every day. interesting dolphin and walrus show. Many animals. attractions for children were not all working, but we did not even have time to get around everything. Dragon Hill is a place for the brave. you can spend the whole day. we will definitely come again.

Not worth the time nor the money. Animals are in a very small enclosure. I only went there as my parents told me it was a good idea. I absolutely regret it, the way the animals are in such a tight space is pure animal cruelty. Also, many of the atractions are closed. Just avoid it and do not fund animal cruelty. On the pictures: some of the attractions that were closed, and a killer whale lonely in a way to little tank.

Good park for kids to enjoy. Staffs are kind and good. Not crowded. Had a fun time on a Sunday. Separate ‘Family Rides’ where kids under 3 can enjoy in 3-4 rides like Ferry’s wheel, boat carousel, Lady Bug roller-coaster, Bee ride. Nice place to see lots of ducks/ geese and fun to feed the fishes. Restrooms were clean and well maintained. Lot of parking space. Free parking Hardest part was to reach the ‘Sky Screamer’ ride which is situated at the top of a small hill. We have to walk all the way to the top-hill which is very difficult with kids. Lonely whale 😞 Many attractions were closed.

Pure animal cruelty. The water quality is horrific and the tank sizes too small. The parking lot is bigger than the tank they use to house the SINGLE whale who tries to kill themselves on a daily. Do not support this law breaking business. I used to go every summer with my family when I was a child, before the truth came out about this place. I vividly remember throwing corn pops to the bears and they were STARVING. I guarantee they would feed them infrequently as to give a reason for the bears to reach out and grab the corn pops that we would throw at them. The bears were in awful shape, extremely thin and rugged. I refuse to ever come back and support this place. I wish this information had come out sooner as to shut this place down a long time ago. Do not support them.

We walked right in and skipped the line because we purchased our tickets online the night before. This year you get a free upgrade to seasons pass. So we stopped by to get our pictures taken it took less than 5 mins to get our whole family done. Throughout the whole park the staff was unbelievably friendly, helpful and cheerful. Amazing to see, and thankful for their kind service. The only thing I would want to see improved is all the bird poop near the bears and fish pond. It needs a good spray wash. The bathrooms and change rooms smelled great and were extremely clean. Very refreshing to see at a theme park and puts Canada's Wonderland to shame. Overall I would recommend a visit during the week. Short lines and lots of shady benches to rest.

How are people still rating this 3, or even 4 stars? In this picture, in yellow you see the parking ,and in blue the space available for animals. Most of them develop anxiety, frustration and start acting weird. Stop going there

I liked the splash pad, rides and gift shop, but it’s heartbreaking to see the animals captivated in places with nothing that their natural habitat had. This has become my least favourite zoo in Canada and tourist attraction in Niagara Falls. This literally animal abuse. This place should be closed down and replaced with a better zoo or something else

Their slogan is absolutely correct - everyone loves Marineland! There are animals, rides and food and nothing was too crowded. Shows are set at decent times so you don't have to wait too long and the animals are very engaged. LOVE that all the animal performances are done only if the animal agrees. Will definitely return!!

I had not visited this place and I liked it a lot. Very good attention of workers, professionals in the care of animals, access for disabled people, the souvenir shop very large and with a large number of items. The wide and very rich food area, good prices; only 15 or 20 minutes from downtown Niagara Falls by car. The mechanical games very funny, in short; You can enjoy a full day with the family there and you can take food as there are picnic areas inside the park.

Great family experience. Lots of rides, both family friendly and for older kids. Beautiful scenery and parkland that encourages picnics. A train will take you around if you don't mind waiting for it. There can be a lot of walking otherwise but lots to see on the way. Educational presentation about marine animals was about 40 minutes and quite interesting. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Place was very clean including the bathrooms. Some attractions closed due to Covid. A great deal if you can go more than once, as a ticket gets you a season's pass.

If you are looking to see an animal dystopian world. This place is for you! Want your kids to be depressed for the rest of the week! Come on in! Even if they removed all the animals and only offered amusement park amenity’s it would still deserve a 1 star review. The park is filthy and over priced. Stick to wonderland of you want to vomit funnel cake. :)

We were shocked at the price but the show and rides made up for it. The park is getting a little run down and a few rides are not running. The park is HUGE, be prepared to walk a lot. There are trains to transport you but it took us all day to figure out which train went where. If they colour coded the map or posted a train map at each pickup location, it would have made is a valuable resource. Also the trains stop running at 6 but park closes at 8. Food at the park was tasty and reasonably priced.

Super nice place! Lots to do, we couldn't even get through the entire park. The hamburger place was very nice and made halal burger for us. The kids loved the rides and we adults loved it too 👏 😀

It was of the best experience I ever had. Yes I had to pay interning high charge, but literally it worth it and more. All games for free and it take you more than three hours to explore all the rides. Also I can not skip that in the top of the entertainment, you also have the chance to learn some more information about the sea creatures with a live show.

Best place for 2-9 year old kids and family. They have a picnic area for food and the animals with family rides make this such a worth it trip everytime. We buy a season pass and come here every weekend. They don’t have the killer whale and the dolphin show is very lame because they spend all the time talking with little interaction from the dolphins. The rides and fish/bear/penguin sighting gets my kids excited. The bear and fish feeding stations are always closed, but you can still see them and we even saw the bears fighting. The rides are great for kids and adults. It’s a better mix to have rides and animals vs. wonderland season pass where you only have rides and no animals.

Marineland is in a bit of a sad state. I went on a weekend and many of the rides weren’t operational. The animal exhibits are concerning at best, with some miserable looking bears and various sea animals. There is an incredibly long walk between any of the attractions. Dragon mountain in particular is a trek to get to. The park was clean, though, and the rides that were open were of high quality. The place just needs some love!

We used to love Marineland, it was our favorite place to visit during Summer. This year, not only the prices have gone crazy,$50 per person, but the rides were 90% closed, the kids got to enjoy only the view of the beluga Whales, deers, bears, killer whales and just 10 minutes show with the dolphins. They should definitely lower the prices, especially after shutting down most of the entertainment facilities. The Sky Screamer was working, but 1/3 capacity,so imagine lineups. I'm a little disappointed.

Visited for the first time. Got a mixed review. We booked tickets online, which saved a lot of time as there was huge lineup for tickets. Online booked ticket holders can go directly inside(no wait time). Take kids strollers along as it’s a big park to walk around. It’s also available there to rent. The dolphin show was a hit. The splash pad was a relief in the summer sun. Very few rides were operative, which was a huge disappointment. The park staff seem unhappy. Moreover, the staff at the cafeteria was rude and ill mannered. The girl at the pizza counter was telling us to go away even though it was open to serve at 11:30am. The whole park seems badly managed with big grass and flies all around. Good for one time visits.

Nice day but the rides are a bit too spaced out for those with bad knees for walking and the mountain for the sky screamer is a definite challenge. Animals like black bears were a pleasure to see and feed along with the great water creatures. Restaurant was good too. Got free season pass with entry fee which was a great bonus!

A lot of parking. A lot of space in the park. A lot of waking as well. The animals were amazing. Feeding them was astonishing. I took my daughter there, who is one. Some rides were out of order. The water park is small. I would say it isn’t for teenagers or order—only one food court. The train takes a long to get to stops and if you go on. A busy day it will be full most of the time. Other than that, I would go back again. I would love to meet the owner. I got ideas!

Good old Marineland, now very easily accessible, empty parking lot like never before (staff told me last year on this time they were almost out of parking in the overflow lot). NO RIDES ARE OPEN, so you're limited to the nice walk around the park. Deers are locked, can see them at the gate when staff throws some corn to them. Can still feed the black bears, always a fun experience, also the huge carps in the nearby pond, along with ducks, geese and swans. The restaurant's offer is limited to almost a joke, probably due to lack of personnel. The dolphins show is still on, little less than the usual and the walrus is gone. But the show is still fun and pleasant. The penguins are new (last year i hear) and a nice surprise, better suited to the smaller aquarium right by the entrance. All personnel wears masks, those serving food included. They wear masks even outdoors (you don't have to) which is a bit extreme but their problem . Overall still a great day out, but for about the same price as before with less activities. However it will still get your young ones to sleep better!

Everyone loves Marineland ❤️ great place to visit for the family. Great dolphin show, encounter with Beluga whales and Orca specially if you are lucky to be there during feeding times. Get wet with Polar splash. Get to feed the deers. It’s covid pandemic times and can’t expect for more. All park rides are shut down but you can still always enjoy with your family and learning exposure for children. You also support parks like this to stay alive as it is a very deficit times for all businesses entire world. Covid temp check at entrance. Covid safety measure all over the park so it’s safe and allot of distancing open air spaces to enjoy Washroom are open Little less food choices available but so it’s understandable Parking is free Full price for entrance fees but they automatically upgrade your single entry pass into season pass so you don’t have to rush and can always keep going back for free. Dolphin show photos and videos attached with this review. More photos coming for all other activities you can do here at Marineland. If you find this review helpful, please so drop is your generous like. Thanks 🙏 you.

Very informative and entertaining place where kids can enjoy rides of all ages and watch the Dolphin's show. They also have the picnic area. The Dolphin show is very entertaining and informative. You can also upgrade your day pass to a season pass at very nominal cost. Definitely will be visiting this place again and have visited this place multiple times. I love the most is the tiny penguins in the Penguin Palace, right beside the entrance.

This place is like having a baby between a small amusement park, a small zoo and a national park. It's a great place for walks with an area for picnics. You can feed a variety of things like bears, fish, ducks, deer, elk. For the deer they said you can pick up the grass and feed them. They are very gentle. The staff are seriously friendly. Truly down to earth sort of people. Washrooms are clean. Not set up for COVID things if anyone was wondering. It's a pre-pandemic location. Small water area for the kids to cool off and adults to relax. It's not a bad place to visit but it's not at all like Wonderland. Very simple setting. There is only one show that is 10 to 15 mins long.the show occurs 3 times a day and are at 12pm, 3pm and 6:15pm in 2023.

My family and I have been to marineLand twice this year and it is a beautiful park. The grounds are well kept despite Covid. The tanks are well maintained and I believe that do great in conservation and the animals seem very happy. They have a better life then some people. On our second visit we pulled into the parking lot and some protesters who were just off the property were yelling at us and harassing us. I believe in the right to protest however they were braking the law by using words such as abuse and cruelty also by using loud bull horns they and saying we were bad people for taking our son. During our visit everything looked perfect nothing was wrong with the park. I also believe in making up my own mind and making my own decisions. This park is great for the whole family and taking your kids. I will not bow to someone else’s opinion. Who I might add was making our family feel very unsafe. Fortunately the park ensures that the protesters could not come on the property. This is a wonderful place but remember think and decided for yourself about this type of park and respect other people’s point of view don’t harass them.

Have to this place before. Less shows and interaction with the animals. I guess due to covid. It opening day my kid 6 and 8 loved. The dolphine show. And there are more rides. Kids below 12 years of age will have more fun. I guess there few rides which teenagers will enjoy I liked the fact our day pass was upgraded to season pass for free. I will definitely go there again.

Ah yes, this place. I went here when I was 4 years old. There were many dolphin stunts and more excited dolphins. But now, the dolphins got old, died and were replaced with a new convoy which didn't do that much stunts and just ate. Sure, they're doing that because of the animal protection but these shows weren't as fun as before. But let's forget about that and talk about some other things. Pros: There were some parking spaces and if you're going in the summer, be prepared for school buses as teachers bring their students there for summer camp. The prices are affordable and the rides were amazing. I was hyping about that Marineland tower ride but ended up chickening out. The shows are good for the price and I loved some of the exhibitions. Cons: The bear exhibit's water is polluted and all they feed the bears is something that looks like Cocoa Puffs. The fish and penguin exhibitions were not that exciting. Overall, it's a nice place that deserves 3 stars.

I recently visited Marineland, and I must say, my experience left much to be desired. The changes in services, restaurant closures, shortened shows, and increased ticket prices have left me feeling quite dissatisfied. Firstly, one of the major letdowns was the noticeable cutback in services. It seemed that the park had scaled back on the amenities and offerings that were once a part of the overall experience. This made the visit feel less enjoyable and less value for money. The closure of several shows, shops, and restaurants was another disappointment, and the absence of these options left visitors with limited choices, making it inconvenient for those looking to enjoy a meal within the park. Moreover, the show, which used to be a highlight of the visit, was reduced to a mere 10 to 15 minutes. This dramatic reduction in showtime greatly diminished the entertainment value of the park. Visitors come to Marineland expecting to witness captivating shows, and a 10 to 15-minute performance simply doesn't live up to those expectations. Lastly, the increase in ticket prices was hard to ignore. It's understandable that prices may rise over time, but the combination of reduced services, closed restaurants, and shortened shows made it difficult to justify the higher cost of admission. Overall, my recent visit to Marineland was far from satisfying. The noticeable cutbacks in services, significantly shortened show duration, and increased ticket prices have taken away from the overall experience. I hope that the management addresses these issues to ensure that future visitors can enjoy the park as it once was, with the value and entertainment they deserve.

(Translated by Google) Extremely disappointed! The prices are extremely expensive contained in the offer of services and products! Half of the very children's rides were not working. The animals appeared to be suffering from dehydration. They didn't seem to be the healthiest. It takes forever to get to the rides for adults. And the day we chose to try the skyscraper it was closed. And no mention of it had been made to us. So plan to bring a stroller if you have kids and plan to bring a cooler as they change double or even triple for a drink or other food. You should skip your turn and save your money to spend it elsewhere! I feel like a lot of the one-star reviews are from individuals who have not even stepped foot on the grounds. Having said that, you will have to be the judge of whether the price is worth the admission. There are about nine rides which are operational, 5 to 6 animal viewing areas, and one show. A lot of the attractions are spaced quite far apart. There is a lot of walking. Overall, it was okay.

Really nice amusement park, lots of attractions for kids and adults and marine mammals that you don't get the chance to see everywhere. The parc is clean, there is almost no wait for the attractions despite the fact that there is a lot of poeple there. The dolphins' show is really impressive and their trainers seems to really care for them. Waterparc is big and really a must when the sun is shining hot around noon. Cafeteria has good diversity of food and there is a lot of place to picnic. All in all, really enjoyed our visit and althow some attractions need fresh investment to return to their prime, I would recommend

A zoo and amusement part combined into a single entity. Family rides are perfect for small kids. Older kids and adults may have more fun at the rides deeper in the park. Oh, and that crazy tall tower ride at the center of the park - for equally crazy people that consider it fun 😂 Don't skip the dophin and seal show at 12, 3 and 6. It's a lot of fun and slightly different each time. Take higher spots - the lower ones do not offer as good view. Polar splash area is fun but mostly for smaller kids - associates won't let taller 8 year olds use slides 🤷‍♂️ Get your tickets ahead of time to avoid lines.

My son is a great fan of sea animals and this place did not disappoint us. We could get close enough to see all his favorites. We also got to feed the fishes in a small pond, watch dolphins feed and dive, sealions and not the least, the beluga whales. My son would not leave the place until he bought a beluga soft toy at the souvenir store.. Overall a fun, 3 hour tour time inside Marineland.

I didn't have a chance to visit zoo section but attractions and sea animal experiences were very good. At ride attractions, most of staff were quite veterans and very friendly & efficient compared to other theme park where employed students during summer. I understand the price of admission just witnessing how much fish sea animals require everyday and how much effort they spend to keep them happy. The only reason I took one star out was because even it was a great visit, it can't beat Minami Chita Beach Land!

I like the sea lion and beluga show here. This place is one of the largest amusement park I've visited. However, some rides are permanently closed. I would recommend this place for children. My kids enjoyed the rides like bumblebee and the octopus. We've also seen Bison, Bear, Deer, and lots of birds. My kids trying to catch seagulls. The admission fee here seems to be too expensive for that reason I rated 3 stars for this park. And the restaurants offers few choices of food. There are lot of parking space but if you come late you might have to walk far going to the entrance. The best time to come here probably Summer and Fall. With its space, I believe they can still improve this park and make it a more exciting place to visit for everyone, not only for children. Overall our kids had a good experience in Marineland.

The place is nice Covid-19 gateway. Thanks to the high ticket prices and closed rides it really felt empty for Sunday. We enjoyed feeding animals, taking pictures and a show. We were just happy this place was allowed to stay open.

A great place to visit for the entire family. We went there last week and although the rides were closed, we had a great time watching the dolphins show, Belugas, Orcas and the black bears.

Had lots of fun here, to name a few of my little one’s favourite places: the splash pad, fish feeding, and bumble bee ride. On top of that, they have the best fountain Pepsi!

It was okay. The deer park was closed and alot of the rides didn't work. The show is the same. I have been going for years and they haven't changed anything. The kids like it. It's has a splash pad so that was cool. The price is on par with other attractions, you can however upgrade your ticket to a season pass and come back to enjoy the park is you didn't get everything done.

Lived my young hopes and dreams, the dolphins are enchanting, I sat there waiting to leave, and they are so playful. Now, I'm not a vet, but all the animals looked healthy, especially compared to some places I went to on this same vacation. Would give anything to swim with dolphins or even touch them, but sadly, you can't. Which is better for their health

Came here in 2022 summer. Kiska was still alive, but already sluggish as she swam around in circles. The belugas were adorable, and the animal show was a delight to see. They hold them in different periods throughout the day. All the animals were all fantastic. However, much of the park consists of walking and the rides are only those that kids would have fun with. The park is obviously trying to transition, but the animal shows (unfortunately) are still its best feature.

I have to admit that I was not prepared to enjoy the visit there I've always wanted to go there and even though there wasn't much open it was so worth it

This park is really stepping up. They are investing more money into the park now. This place has so much potential and they even just opened up a new ride. I highly recommend a visit!

It's clean and offers some excitement for the kids. Would be great if the rides were open but unfortunately they aren't due to covid. Tickets should be cheaper in my opinion.

There is huge killer whale, you can watch above the ground, to see it breath the water into the air, and watch it below the ground, watch it swimming straight to your face, same setting for a group of adorable belugas, they jump out water, watch you right in front of face, very playful, there is a roofed stadium with scheduled show, sea lion, dolphin, amazing shows, signature sky screamer free fall tower on top a hill, deer park inside a castle, kids amusement park, kids friendly rollercoaster, you can feed and touch the belugas at Arctic cove, and taking pictures/videos with them, kids like these stuffs

(Translated by Google) Not everyone of that loves Marineland. The show is good, but the beluga whales do not melt much. Too much empty space for such a large park. In my recollection of about 30 years ago it was better but not noticed a lot of changes.

Great to visit on a Monday. No lines and got to do some rides twice due to lack of folks. Not a lot of animals to see and everything is oddly spaced out. Be prepared to walk. Lockers are a good investment for two loonies. The splash area was great at the end of our day. The shows during the afternoon are about 20 mins long and worth seeing.

Marineland is amazing I have been going for almost 40 years I love it my kids love it lots of rides and animals we go almost every weekend and buy seasonal passes what a wonderful place to take your family to learn about sea creatures and go on rides

Amazing place!🙌🏻 Very friendly staff and good service. The territory is very beautiful and clean. A lot of things to do, everything is very good maintained. Thank you so much that you loving what you do! Our children are delighted! See you soon 🙂

I love Marineland. Visited a few times over the years - normally in early May before the season starts. If you visit off season, you will be able to enjoy the rides as many times as you'd like without any lines.

I visited here 5 years ago and the park was in disrepair. Looked on the verge of closing forever. Even with COVID, it is so evident the investment and changes that have been made in the last 3-4 years. Very impressed with what is happening at the park and cannot wait to see what comes in the future. Also this year (2022), you can upgrade your day ticket to a season pass for free!

They were so welcoming and kind such a good atmosphere for families or even people on dates. Not all rides were open, due to limited staff but the rides that were, there was max a 2 min wait If you waited at all. Staff were constantly cleaning and so informative, the water park is perfect for those hot 🔥 days with the kids. Your also allowed food into the park and everything there is sooo fairly priced not like wonderland or something. All in all its a must visit.

Much better Niagara attraction than Falls these days... Our early morning visit on the long weekend at Marineland was far better..not crowded and no waiting for rides, the Dolphin show has been shortened since our last visit. At Falls, it was way too crowded and don't want to visit ever again.

this place is still open? i assumed they went out of business in like 2002. it’s absolutely terrible. i can’t think of a single reason why anyone would want to go here but i guess that’s just me. you can’t even jump in any of the pools? i’d way rather just go to a literal pool or wild water kingdom or something. imagine walking around a park full of pools on a hot summer day ready for a dip but just having to stand there sweating like a moron… couldn’t be me. absolutely no reason to go to this horrible place. shut it down.

Lots of fun, awesome rides and love seeing the marine animals. One thing though, the penguins seemed a little sad. All they did was sit there and look at the ground as though they were ashamed.

  • 5/5 Ahmed A. 5 months ago on Google
It's a wonderful place for kids and family. Rides are so much fun, and kids enjoy watching penguins, dolphins, bears, deers, and other animals. I strongly recommend buying a season pass at the beginning of the season because you'll go more than once.
