Staff and Drs here have worked very hard during the last few years of Covid Please remember other reviewers may not have the whole story or picture of what care is needed!! There is plexiglass between patients and staff so they can hear staff properly, masks are used properly to codes. They do nothing but the best and please people need to remember they are people to! hard working for us in the community

I went with my fiancé during the week for her to be seen as I have had nothing but good experiences at this clinic. The wait was absolutely ridiculous although they can’t not be blamed for that. After waiting close to two hours we were finally called. We had explained to the doctor what was going on and had asked her to prescribe some type of pain relief for my fiancé throat as this issue was reoccurring. The doctor who was working simply said no and had no interest to hear what myself or my fiancé had to say and simply had her file closed and her hand on the handle within two mins of being in that room. We got no tips on what to do to relive the pain, no prescription and the rudest doctor I’ve meet. Following the next day my fiancé went to another walk in clinic and got prescribed antibiotics because she has a terrible throat infection that the doctor at urgent doctor clearly looked past. I will never go back to them again.

Showed up with 6 year old that fell and hurt her arm. I was thinking it was a sprain as she didn’t cry much but was ‘babying her arm’. It was late in the day, the doctor gave a X-ray referral to do the next day. Had the X-ray first thing in the morning, I was given the images to take back to the clinic, doctor checked ONE image and said it was fine possibly a sprain. Received a call back later that evening and the lab results show a break and we were to come back to the clinic to get a referral to go to the hospital. We saw the doctor yet again and she said ‘oh I don’t know how to change images and didn’t see the break’ ...are you f’n kidding me lady! because of her laziness and pride that she couldn’t ask her assistant to switch images that morning my daughter went ALL day at risk of further injuring her break! I will never go back to this place again!

I'm giggling at the diverse opining about the Doctors here. When all is said, I am so, so glad THIS clinic is two traffic lights from my home. Thank you, Karen, Dr Mazzone, Dr Sharma, Dr Li and whomever else has been so helpful and caring about all my zany accidents and immediate concerns. For everything from an infected bee sting to an ear flushing, this operation and these people are an indispensable part of my healthcare and I feel very lucky and grateful. It wouldn't occur to me to go anywhere else.

A MUST READ: I'd normally give this place 5 stars because Dr. Mazzone, Dr. Listoe, and Dr. Jay are INCREDIBLE. They never patronize me. They listen to my concerns and give me very frank feedback with genuine, common-sense solutions. They don't have the same entitlement as family physicians that rely on rostered patients to pay their wages, and actually make more the less patients they see, but rather only get paid for the patients they see. I definitely respect that. They are rebel doctors, and you can definitely tell they do it because they're passionate. They put their all into your visit! The reason I deducted one star is because of "doctor" Katy Yi-Ting Li. I don't even know where to start with this individual. I thought the days of chump physicians where behind me since I started going to Prompt Doc, but boy was I wrong. She's one of those nightmare physicians, you know, the kind that only became a doctor because her parents pushed her into it, and therefore can't think creatively at all because she lacks any interest in her job or the people she's trying to help. Just another robot thinker. When she asked me why I wasn't seeing the specialist I was referred to, I told her about the specialist "forgot about me" TWICE, leaving me in her office unattended to for 2 hours each time, and then cancelled an appointment on me because she was sick, but failed to even tell me so I took the day off and showed up. At least the specialist and staff apologized. This Dr. Li literally replied with "Well, specialists aren't regular doctors...you have to wait." Again, she wasn't even a complex enough thinker to UNDERSTAND that I was forgotten about and how that might make me uncomfortable to leave my health care in her hands, and her statement highlighted the superiority she feels as a "doctor." She kept trying to interject on everything I was saying, just wouldn't let me finish! I retorted with the fact that physicians tell me I should only see a doctor I'm comfortable with, since it's my health and my life. Clearly the ONLY statement she couldn't argue. I just don't like this person. She's a product of parents forcing her to be an overachiever, it's very obvious, and her miserable, cynical face shows it, her stone-like personality affirms it, and her lack of creative thinking and passion towards the field of medicine she's working in solidifies those assumptions into facts. I understand they need to have female representation, that is extremely important, but her demeanor assists in perpetuating the stereotype that women professionals are less dynamic thinkers and, well, "b*tches." As an avid feminist, it's really a shame that I'm unable to be in her corner. I highly suggest you ASK the receptionists (who are awesome, btw) who is in when you arrive. If your medical needs are dynamic, avoid her, and stick with Dr. Mazzone, Dr. Jay, and Dr. Listoe. I hope his was helpful. Wishing you great health!

Dr. Raptis would rather pump you full of antibiotics than deal with the actual issue at hand. Reoccurring tonsillitis isn't ALWAYS strep, and it's disgusting that you'd rather dance around the root of the issue than just solve it and put through a referral for removal. Imagine wanting your patients to be sick over and over again so you can make money off of prescriptions. Also, don't talk to your adult patients like children. "It's only been ONE" and holding your finger up like we don't know how to count was the most embarrassing thing I've ever seen a doctor do. Do better.

Wonderful clinic, not sure why there are poor reviews. I’ve been going to this clinic for over 10 years, times when I can’t get in to my own GP. The staff and doctors are always friendly and helpful.

If you must visit, please avoid Dr Mazzone at all costs. I visited a few days ago for ongoing excruciating lower stomach pain, the pain so severe that I can't move when this occurs. Unprofessional in the following ways: He told me it was all in my head and that it was nothing but a stomach cramp. (My intestine dropped out barely 20hrs later following this visit. Ergo, not psychological.) Compared my pain to a baby with colic. Interrupted me to talk over me multiple times. Had to list off multiple dates and specific time frames of pain for him to take me seriously, needing to force a follow-up appointment from this man to have an ultrasound booked. Literally told me the following: "Painful, yes. Can we do anything about it?" Dr Mazzone literally shrugged thereafter. When I asked him if there was any specific date or time to attend this upcoming ultrasound, he answered with: "Nope, just whenever." But no, I did indeed have to book in, having been misinformed by a supposed professional. So with that, please request another Doctor if you must visit this clinic. Front staff were friendly enough and while I was seen quickly as expected, a fast time-frame means nothing if your pain/other symptoms are entirely dismissed.

I will not be going back to this lousy clinic. Go for a check up and I get rejected for something in the past. The nurses used to be friendly. But they're arrogance on my last show up, was almost an embarrassment on their part. And most kept ignoring me when I needed a check up at most. So I don't have anything to apologize to them for. Except the embarrassment they put on themselves.

I drove home from Grimsby to St.Catharines on Wednesday night at precisely 622pm and the clinic was open (SUPPOSEDLY until 7pm). When I walked in there was NO one in the waiting room. The doors were open and the lights were on and the sign said open. When I went to hand in my health card, the receptionist said that they were closed. I was so upset. I could see that IF there was a line up of people to see the Doctor still they might not take anymore patients, but there was literally NOT ONE PERSON. They just didn't feel like it I guess because I was unconviencing them. So be advised: they don't care here at all. Don't waste your time like I did. Go somewhere where they actually care about their patients and their time and the post real hours and stick to them. They should be ashamed of themselves. I hope that the other Doctors that work in the same group /team don't act like this and do NOT accept this practice. Change your hours to "we close whenever we feel like it even of there is no one in the waiting room and it's 40 minutes before our posted closure" or buck up and stop wasting people's time. Ridiculous!

The woman at the desk was super friendly and the wait time was pretty quick. Unfortunately the doctor was rude, argumentative and basically called me a liar. In the end he didn't even fix my problem(which was pretty minor but needed attention). well I did some googling and turns out he's(Dr. Sharma) been forced to resign from multiple hospitals. Why is this guy still practicing and why is prompt doc keeping him employed. I will never return to this clinic, you should avoid it if you can.

The receptionist was lovely and very kind. The doctor on the the other hand took one look at me and claimed that my problem was because I am, ‘obese’. Even though during my yearly physical with my family doctor, she established that I was at a healthy weight for my age and height range. Not only was this rude but I feel like he was not listening as I was describing my symptoms. Overall I felt he was very rude and that that my visit was a waste of my time.

I wish I could give them no stars. Waiting clinic more than walk-in clinic. Waited 2 hours to get a refill for my prescription, they let people that came in to rooms that came in after me into seeing the doctor before me. Finally when I got a room I was still waiting to see the doctor. At least I had a fly bugging me to keep me busy. After getting a room I still waited 15 mins for him to finally come in. My visit literally took 2 mins of the doctors time. And the funny part is that the doctor didn’t pull up my files he asked me what type of prescription I was on. So I could of changed my prescription without meaning to since I couldn’t recall the name of the prescription

I have mixed reviews on this place. I went in yesterday (as advised by Telehealth) later in the day and got in almost immediately. I'm experiencing bleeding 2 months postpartum and was obviously afraid, my face is an open book. I saw Dr. Greg Listoe, and although I was polite and gave him lots of information in a respectful manner, found him to be almost judgemental (lots of raised eyebrows etc). I wrote it off as just the end of a long day. However, due to the sensitive nature of my visit, his behavior was in my opinion totally unprofessional. He made it very clear to me that they don't see people with problems like mine and that he was doing me 'a courtesy' by advising and prescribing a blood test, ultrasound and a gynecologist visit. My request for a female gyno also was upsetting. When told I was advised by Telehealth his response was 'Well, that's good for telehealth'. Lastly, when I took a look at my blood test form, I was shocked to see the word 'B*tch' on it in his handwriting. Now, I know doctors have poor writing but this was spelled clearly. When I asked the front desk I was told it said BHCG (beta hcg.) Would it have been so hard as to connect the H and make the G look like a g and not an h? It's too bad I can't upload a photo of it here.

I checked into this clinic today and the front staff was phenomenal. The ladies at the reception deserve recognition for exceptional service. I want to add that the doctors follow up with their patients and the ladies at the front desk make the call to find out if the treatment works well. The doctors are great especially Dr. Jay. He does a great job explaining to the patients what the possible issue could be, very polite and professional, just love the place and can't think of any other place that can match their exceptional service.

Called at 330 spoke to a lady who said they close at 5 and they stop taking patients at 430. Ok great. Drive there with my 4 year old son and arrive at 350 to be turned away! Lady even denies speaking with me on the phone! I have always used this walk in clinic but after that I will be taking some legal action.

i cut my finger when I was cutting passion fruit, Doctor Nishan took care of me, he was nice and professional, he wrapped my finger gently, and glued my skin together, the nurse was kind too, the only thing I feel they need to change is they should divide people into two groups, one group for urgent patients, the other one for non-urgent patients, as it is a urgent clinic, it's not just a walk in.

Really disappointed by the lack of care by Dr. Sharma. My boyfriend visited a couple of weeks ago for an injury, we weren't sure if he had torn a muscle, had a severe strain or something else. He visited 5 days after the injury occurred after realizing it was not getting better. The doctor would not examine the injured area to see what was wrong, even after we asked him to please check to make sure nothing more serious had happened. He just wrote a prescription for mild painkillers and sent him for an x-ray and said we would hear back with the results. That was almost 2 weeks ago and we have not received a phone call to let us know anything. We have tried calling every day, several times a day, but no one ever answers the phone. He works out of town so he can't come into the clinic to get the results. This has been a very frustrating experience and we would not recommend this clinic.

First attempt to visit this clinic. Physically disabled, I was denied care. Struggled to arrive at the clinic 15 mins before closing, waiting room was empty and was denied care after informing them that I had a cold and felt like a chest infection and prone to bronchitis. I even informed them that my chest hurt a great deal when I cough but was still denied care. I'm considering informing the college of physicians and surgeons to file an official complaint. It's a shame, this clinic was in walking distance from my home. It's pretty sad when a doctor cares so little about what they do.

If I could write a review and put zero or negative stars I would. DO NOT USE THIS CLINIC!!! After receiving a notice from Niagara Health that my children required immunizations I brought both of my kids here for their needles. I brought the letter from Niagara Health with me and presented it to the doctor. Simple enough....a week goes by and I get a call from Niagara Health... both of my children were given the wrong needles!!! Not only that but one of them was given a "double dose" because the doctor explained the regular dose was intended for a younger child and my child was older so she needed a larger dose .. when I told the nurse at Niagara health this she couldn't believe it.. In my opinion this doctor should not be practicing medicine..it is absolutely horrifying that he gave the wrong needles to children when he had a letter stating exactly which needles were required. My daughters arms swelled up thanks to the double dose he administered for no apparent reason since it was the wrong needle...PLEASE LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE...DO NOT USE THIS CLINIC UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!!! If they can't administer a simple needle imagine how they are with critical health matters....I wouldn't trust them to treat an animal let alone a human being.

It was my first time visiting this particular clinic and I’ll never go to another. The waiting room was almost completely full and I only waited about an hour to be seen. I had the privilege of being seen by Dr. Raptis. She was very kind, incredibly thorough and didn’t rush through the visit. It was definitely worth the wait.

Very disappointed ! On Friday June 9, 2023, I visited this clinic , registered at 1:15pm and saw Dr. Ashok Sharma at 3:45pm. Waited almost 3hrs to be seen for only 3 minutes. When he walked inside the room he seemed to be in a hurry not caring about my medical concerns. He quickly wrote a prescription, and rushed out the door not allowing me to explain my medical concerns. I mentioned about my mental health and he said " You can Only come here for 1 thing and if you're not happy, then go elsewhere" So if you visit Dr. Ashok Sharma and you have abdominal pain and severe allergies at the same time, you can only ask him about 1 medical issue. How rude, and inconsiderate of a Dr he is! If you're not happy with your job as a Dr. then you should not practice!

AWFUL!! I can not believe how long the wait time is at this clinic. It is always a long wait with no reasoning why! After only 3 people in front when we registered we thought maybe 20-30 min wait but we were wrong. 3 other people came in saying “we are back” and they got taken in before us so another 45 mins pass and the waiting room is packed. And we still wait because what is the point of wasting more time driving to a different one and waiting at that one...

Yesterday afternoon I suddenly found a tick on my child's scalp, and after going to several walkin clinics they all said they had no tools to help remove the tick, until I came to PromotDoc, the doctors were very friendly and helped remove the tick immediately, and kept encouraging the child not to be afraid during the process. I would recommend them to everyone in the surrounding community.

I don't like taking the doctors time at walk in clinics for routine problems, but I could not get in to see my family doctor so I had to visit this clinic. I am very glad I did because Dr. Fotina Raptis was far more thorough and helpful than my family doctor was. Huge thanks to Dr. Raptis for actually helping me rather than brushing off my problem & leaving me to suffer in pain like my family doctor did.

Came to get my nasal splints and stitches removed from this doctor, he’s unprofessional and extremely rough. I had a rhinoplasty which I paid over $5000 for and this doctor manhandled my nose which could’ve caused my reconstructed nose damage. NEVER AGAIN.

The waits may be long but it is worth it. They are some of the most understanding doctors and are willing to have you get any tests needed. They helped me find out I have an old back injury that has been causing my back pain when other doctors wouldn’t believe me claiming I’m “too young.” I will always recommend this clinic :). Keep up the amazing work!!

I had a bad experience many years ago but I changed my one star to a four. The reason I did this was for two reasons: Kristen behind the desk has been amazing at her job every time I go in there, even during COVID. A lot of clinics have done extremely poorly during this time with things such as discrimination. I never felt this here. Compared to a lot of places these days, the wait times aren't too bad and I feel like the doctor always takes time to listen at this clinic.

I got bit by a tick. I went to prompt doc and the first doctor didn't take out the mouth piece of the tick and put me on one day antibiotics. Literally speant 2 minutes with me.... I went home and didn't feel right about it so I called public health and they told me maybe I should reconsider going back to the doctor after everything I told them. I went back the next day and got a second doctor to look at it. He felt the right thing to do was to take the mouth piece out of my leg and put me on 2 weeks worth of antibiotics just to be safe. The second doctor was amazing and I thought he was very good at what he does.... the first doctor not so much! Would leave if I knew it was him again going to treat me.

Nonsense what others are interpreting from Dr. Katy Li! Believe me, I like “warm & fuzzy” but Dr. Li was perfectly fine for me! She was professional and businesslike. That’s what you want from a doctor when you get sick in another country and are a bit frightened. It was obvious they were very busy on a Saturday morning and she apologized for the wait upon entering the room but still took time with me. So what if she didn’t introduce herself or shake my hand, I really liked her! It was also great that this clinic is connected to a pharmacy so I could walk a few indoor steps and get my prescription. I would not fail to recommend this place for efficiency, cleanliness, or professionalism!

I have been waiting for 2 hours because the receptionist lost my paper on her waiting list. Since 2pm, now is 4pm. Never come back again

The centre itself is fine. I was not waiting too long, the receptionist was very nice, the rooms are clean etc. My problem is solely with Dr Mazzone. Never in my life have I felt so negatively about a doctor I have seen. He was condescending, impatient, spoke over me, didnt listen to me completely, was super snappy in the way he was speaking. I found myself looking at the ground like I was some kid in the school Principal's office. He made me feel like I was wasting his time and completely lacked any form of bedside manner. If you go to this medical centre AVOID DR MAZZONE AT ALL COSTS!!!

The receptionists were incredibly friendly. Doctor took the time to listen to what my concerns were. Overall an AMAZING experience for a walk in clinic!!!

Both the lady that checks you in and the doctor were very kind. Service was very quick and the clinic is extremely clean. Thanks for your help.

I walked up on March 20th, 40 minutes before the scheduled close and as I got to the door they locked it and put a sign up saying they were closed. I travelled from across town and they close early...I would of been in and out because it was a simple thing I needed checked. NEVER GOING BACK!

I had occasion to visit the clinic on March 14, 2018. The nursing staff along with Dr Mazzone were nothing short of top-shelf service and care. Thank you for making my visit a superior experience. Should my future health need repair I won't hesitate to return to your office. Cheers!

Very fast, friendly, and clean. Definitely made me feel that much better going somewhere where the people working were in good spirits and knew what they were doing. Will be coming back to this walk in rather than any others I've been to in the area.

Receptionist I had was extremely friendly and polite. Doctor wasn't bad but not the best either as far as his attitude and advice. The wait wasn't bad at all though so will go again.

Friendly staff at front desk, supportive nurse who saw me first, and an excellent doctor who was thorough and has a compassionate bedside manner.

I have only had one unpleasant visit here out of over a dozen. I can't always get to my family doctor when I need medical assistance and fortunately for me this place is around the corner from my house. I've seen three doctors here. Two very friendly and polite just like my family doctor and then the woman doctor that I saw which wasn't as kind and in fact questioned my family doctors advice to me and was quite insulting on the matter. Four occasions that come to mind are when I was 17 and got my first knife. I had a mishap with the locking mechanism and cut right through to the bone. The doctor was concerned about how it happened but stitched me up promptly and made sure I knew how to properly take care of it afterwards. Second, I accidentally took a small hand saw to my finger and the doctor was able to reassure me that there was nothing wrong with the wound, patched me up, and made sure I knew the after care. This was the same doctor that stitched me up when I was 17. Third, in high school I got my face beat in and my lip was pouring blood. Same doctor as the last two incidents. Patched me up and assured me if I took care of it like he said it would heal just fine. Fourth and most recent, I went in after a P.S.W. suggested I see a doctor about a possible infection on my finger. Doctor Jay took a look at it and deemed it was most likely a skin irritation from the object that cut me. One prescription and ten minutes of my time and I was on my way. Going in for a follow up soon to make sure the irritation is on its way to proper recovery.

Receptionist isn't wearing a mask!!! Be safe don't go in. A mask around your neck isn't "wearing a mask". I had to clean my cards after she touched them. Also FYI they lie about the type of covid tests you need for travel. Charge $50 for a "letter" for a free govt funded test, but you can get the same test at Shoppers for $40.

Doctor Ashok Sharma offers unacceptable care to patients. The only thing he said was: "go to the same clinic you went before, the treatment someone provided before has nothing to do with me" Like really, for a doctor??

This office is a poor excuse for a clinic.

The only reason why it's not less than 3 stars is because I had a very pleasant experience last week and because the receptionists are angels. Figured I would add my experience with Dr. Sharma. I was already nervous when I heard the receptionist say that he was in. Last week I was in because of a workplace injury, the female doctor that was there was sweet and handled everything perfectly. 4 days after my injury and before I was off for the weekend I reaggravated my shoulder while working, I was going to go back to the clinic for an extension on my modified anyways per the direction of the first doctor who said it's possible it won't clear up in a week. All of last week I was incapable of using my arm and held it to my chest because of the pain I was in. She said that I had very good strength in my arm and that it was great that I COULD move it. Today, I went in as my modified agreement ends at work and they need an extension or a return to work. I told him that my arm is okay when I'm at home but then when I go to work and it's just hanging there it starts to cause a lot of pain. He tested my arm strength and my ability to move it, on one of the movements I made a face and he asked if it was pain and I said "Just tense, I think." Then on another movement I made a face and started to try to explain that the pain was shooting up more into my neck area, which he cut me off and immediately moved on to something else. He then started questioning why I needed an extension on my modified if I can move my arm fine, to which I referred to what I had mentioned before and said "I just had the entire weekend to rest my shoulder, of course it's not going to hurt immediately right now, I haven't been using it at all." He was completely overlooking the fact that I was still in pain and was just doing as the last doctor suggested if I was still hurting. And I had told him that I reaggravated my injury 4 days after, when I was already still in pain. My job requires me to push/pull hundreds of pounds, and obviously you can't do that with an injured shoulder. And surprise Dr. Sharma, after my visit and you requiring me to move my arm, I'm now in pain just as I suspected. I couldn't even get to the point where I needed to mention that moving my head/neck throughout the day repeatedly aggravates it which isn't something I realized until after my injury and previous visit. Acting like my modified duties are coming out of his paycheck with how argumentative he is about my shoulder still hurting. Whole point of being a doctor is to listen to your patients and then assess from there, clearly he didn't learn that part since he just wants to tell you how you should be feeling.
