I don't agree with this being the only Transgender source in St Catharines and surrounding area. Patients have to call to inquire follow up appointments, blood work..etc.. Not ALL but most of the doctor's and receptionists, not only speaking from personal experience. Do not have enough knowledge about hormonal therapy and have even argued with patient's. I would make an 8 hour road trip just to have my doctor back in Montreal again. I don't feel like this facility takes care of their trans patient's or help them be less confused or understand a situation better involving hormonal therapy and will just send you to the general hospital.

I delivered some stuff from Costco to them ,They are deceitful liars I don't know how they will be honest with their patients. very bad management. They put a high tip because their order is very huge . When I delivered it, they canceled the tip. They think they are smart, but the truth is they are failed. They could not put a tip, but this is the way of uncivilized people. my issue is when you put high tip automatically instacart they going to lower the delivery fee for me.

If not for the front desk i'd have given 5 stars. Honestly, the staff are all helpful, experienced and professional. The women at the front desk, namely the redhead and the curly haired brunette are miserable, sloppy, lazy, and couldn't do their job if their life depended on it. I use to empathize with their situation given some of the difficult people that come in and out of there. However I've over heard them talking negatively about other staff and their own personal lives (tmi). More importantly, they can't seem to pick up the phone. Expect to call 10 or 20 times if you need to get a hold of your doctor, don't bother leaving a voicemail...the Dr. likely will never know!

Reading some of the negative comments, i wonder if they are real reviews. This clinic is one of the best i have ever been.It is well maintained. Every clinic has wait times, there is nothing we can do about it. But while waiting, the staff is very friendly. Dr Oladipo is a great doctor. In fact all the doctors there have been quite nice to me and my little one (who was sick few times this past winter..) How i wished Dr O was accepting new patients. Dont be turned down by the negative reviews, go there and see for yourself. In general, in life, anyone who shows respect and great attitude is welcome back with the same. Regardless if you are sick, irritated or not, be kind to people and you will receive that back.

Extremely disappointed with the experience I just had with quest. Quest is one of the most talked about-- known for the greatest people to work with, talk to, etc in St. Catharines right now. Considering there are almost next to no mental health resources in this city. Niagara College gave me panflets and paperwork regarding Quest, explaining that it'd be the easiest step for me to take in order to getting help with my mental health. I just called for the first time to inquire about actually getting help with my mental health, finally. And was told Quest are not even accepting new patients. The receptionist was very short, rude and mean and very unprofessional sounding over the phone. Gave me absolutely no information about the "waitlist" she put me on or how long it would take, etc. Then, basically hung up the phone on me while I was in the middle of asking a question. So much for that. So disappointed.

This place has changed my life. I've worked with an outreach worker who is working their butt off to help me when I'm a total wreck, a nurse practitioner who has since moved to another practice who was the first to listen to me about a lot of things, a councillor who helped me so much, and now a new nurse practitioner who I am looking forward to getting to know. It is sometimes difficult to get a hold of the front desk, but I've had my calls returned promptly as of late.

This place is useless! Never answer the phones Dr called my fiancรฉ to say his kidney looked enlarged wanted him to do a ultra sound said she would send the paper to the clinic to go and get it done almost a month later! And they still havenโ€™t sent it and we have called 4 times about it! How hard is it to fax the form over or just tell us to pick it up since thereโ€™s clearly knowone working the front cuz there never answering the phones! Hopefully itโ€™s nothing serious with his kidneys or this stupid ass place would be the reason it wasnโ€™t looked upon right away!

My wife called twice got an answer with is good the first time she called was somewhat decent for a Tuesday but because we are so busy with dealing with FACS family court and looking for a new place to move to we forget to call week in advance to book an appointment, so she calls back to re book it to a better date they started disrespecting her stating you should of a week before. So I started treating them the same way than they turned around and told her if your partner shows up with that attitude weโ€™ll call the cops. Well guess what we are not going to waste our time again here. Your better off going to a walk in clinic than these guys because I never going to suggest this place to anyone if the front desk are going to be disrespectful to clients. My wife and I are just as busy as these guys. If I could rate this a 0 star I would.

Not accommodating to patients needs. There is patient rights and mission posted on the wall. But when you walk in. Mostly you are not respected, not heard at all. I booked time off work come to seek for help, but instead of client centred care, they send you home with some blood work and ask you to come back againโ€ฆโ€ฆ.

I find this place very helpful. If you don't like the place then simply find another doctor and good luck at that. Front desk always helpful and very polite. Keep up the good work girls. As for the person insulting the redhead I say she is a tremendous help and always happy and answers questions.

I've been a patient here since 2013. Initially they provided really great patient doctor service till about 2016 from there on it has been all downhill. I've had some neglectful interactions with a couple of them, especially with the nurse practioners. I understand we all need money, but for the love of God put the patient first.

My doctor had left the office months ago from October when I called wondering why I haven't heard anything from them, I had to call over a dozen times every other day for atleast 3 weeks leaving voicemails left right and center when yesterday I called in maybe a good 30 times before I connected with someone and got told he had moved to a different location and was unaffiliated with the office anymore... Unimpressed

The service at this clinic was very good. They were open late when I needed this service and both the doctor and secretary were helpful. My daughter was so sick she walked out without her purse and the Secretary came out of her way to bring me her purse. The doctor was efficient and professional. Thank-you

Always had a great experience with everyone here; whether it be a receptionist, a nurse, the nurse practitioner or doctor. The only issue I've had so far is one of my calls not being returned. Niagara is very lucky to have a LGBTQIA-specific healthcare provider. EDIT: I recommend calling early in the morning, within the first couple hours after they open. If you end up calling them during their lunch break, or you get sent to voicemail, don't bother leaving a message and just call again at a later time.

I just got back from Quest Community Healthcare in St. Catharines, Ontario. I chose to accompany a client who needs some extra help from a psychiatrist. I must say it was by far the most positive experience I have had in a very long time in dealing with a member of the medical profession. The psychiatrist was extremely thorough in his examination of my client. My client was examined with a fine tooth comb and then some.

Male to Female Transitional care is not accessible to all walks of life. You need to be pretty wealthy to transition. It costs up to 20k out of pocket in your first year alone. That is a low estimate also. Electrolysis and Adams apple surgery is not covered. Only HRT IS COVERED JN THEBFORM OF A PILL. This is why the Liberal health care system wants to target your 18 and under kids. It is cheaper to transition at a young age. No trans person knows what they are till 22 at the minimum, look up mental maturity rates. None of this is new knowledge. Yall are playing God and failing miserably. Just wait for the 100's of trans backs soon to come.

Somehow today it has some kind of celebration without giving any notice for the walk-in patient (me). Anyway, I was told they will be cleaning for an hour but I see the sign was left as open on the door. Besides the whoever there did the cleaning was texting(well none of my business). I was told I can not wait inside while outside is cold or in my car rather than be allowed to wait in the chair inside. I would say please be flexible to patients especially regular patients. I would say doctors there are knowledgeable and helpful. But please get some training or attention to the people who works at the front. Being flexible would hurt nothing to the business but bring more loyalty and satisfied patients(customers).

The wait times here are astronomically long. I came in today with only two people ahead of me and then after about half an hour I got into the office. I've been sitting in the office for about 30 more minutes now. I also came into the room with an unlocked computer greeting me which had another patients sensitive information. What the heck is that? I guess they aren't very secure here which makes me nervous. At least the screen saver came on after me sitting in here for five minutes which I presume locked it. I hope! I'm not touching it but can imagine what someone else would do.

Itโ€™s always hard to get an appointment without waiting over a month. It took 3 phone calls to get one prescription sent to the right pharmacy when I broke my hand. I donโ€™t feel heard or understood at Quest, when your patient had surgery a few days ago and you wonโ€™t give anything besides T3s when for years the doctor has known they never helped me with past surgeries AND that I donโ€™t have a dependency/addiction issue. When your being told to just go to the ER for surgery pain and feel rushed off the phone, itโ€™s not how a family doctors practice should run. Not to mention sub-par care of their trans patients, was on a 3 year wait list for this.. I will be looking for another doctor.

As a Trans person wishing to go from male to female. I have recieved zero help or education. I am mid 30s and have been suffering from gender dysphoria all my life. I was forced to hide it growing up and that systematic belief is still alive and well for anyone over 18. Isnt it a bit weird to only target/help people under the age of 18? I really thought this was the door opening for me. Names Nicholas Eckert and i dont care anymore about people knowing. Lame duck medical system. ****Update**** i am currently still being medically neglected. Its been well over 3 months and I have not seen any form of gender reaffirming care or counselling.

As a trans person it's really good that I did all my research beforehand. The doctor gave me a bland/vague once over about the hormones affects etc. I already knew all of this and more. I was started on a very low dosage, which isn't a bad thing. But it's been a year and I've noticed almost no changes and have been requesting for an increase. To do so I was told to call the receptionists and ask them to fax bloodwork to a lab. They don't pick up. The fact that the doctor sends me to the front desk for something so simple? Whatever. Also at the beginning I expressed the desire for top surgery. Since I've been on T for almost a year I should be viable. I call doctor about it (had to wait several months for 3 minute appointment) and I was again told to call reception and ask for an appointment with a nurse practitioner. It's been several weeks and I'm not getting my calls returned. Very disappointing. I struggle with depression, anxiety, bpd/did, and ptsd. My anxiety and stress over my transitioning is more than it should be considering I'm the one that has to make an appointment and talk to a doctor just to be told to call reception. And then calls are not returned. It's honestly depressing. An already difficult transition made twice as hard because of the lack of care and interest the staff have for a patient.
