Stopped by this super cute little chocolate shop for gelato and didn't disappoint. The main reason we stopped by was that along with dairy gelato they also had vegan gelato. I had the dark chocolate vegan gelato and it was amazing and my husband had a dairy gelato he described as eating a Ferrero Rocher (our one-year-old enjoyed tasting both). The inside is super cute and they have a wonderful relaxing patio where you can sit and enjoy your gelato.

Amazing couple, I have just found my favourite place, as the owners know it was worth the wait. I really love the hospitality and kindness of the couple. The awesome desserts, the atmosphere it's like an aesthetic place. The Gelato is worth having it. One worth amazing!

We only tried the gelato, but it was yummy, and the portions were generous. The place is small but charming and cozy, with a decent amount of seating both indoors and outdoors. They also serve chocolates, desserts, and coffee. A few parking spots are available on premises, but if it gets busy, there's parking in the plaza across the street.

If you are looking for a good place to be with your family and tastes the sweet teste of life, then you must to be here, a lot of chocolates, ice creams, drinks and homemade bakery! Is amazing. Good service and The atmosphere inside makes you feel like you are in the 80s of a European city. Come and enjoy your family time!!

Cute dainty little corner place! There were many flavours to choose from, and I always appreciate being able to sample before I commit. You could never go wrong with coffee flavour but we also got ginger yoghurt, which was risky but so actually delicious!

What a great place for gelato! I tried the Nocella (kind of like nutella) and Chocolate Brownie. The adorable little chocolate on top made this such a sweet treat. We went during a rainy day just before closing and the place was quite empty. It allowed us to be able to enjoy this completely magical patio. I had a chance to peek inside and saw so many goodies to try. I cannot wait to come back and try more of these sweet delicacies.

For something sweet and refreshing check out this local shop. Pretty inside and out. So many different items to chose from. The Gelato is so good. Two thumbs up.

My favourite chocolate shop! We made a special trip up from the Kingston area to stop in here! Staff is so friendly, chocolates are amazing! Ate the chocolates as soon as we got in the car! Worth the drive!!

I have traveled around the world and no place has topped Chocolates Etc espresso and coffees. They have the best handmade chocolates for every holiday or for a special treat 😋 This family run business is a cool spot to sit and hangout. And their gelato is top notch!

What a lovely nostalgic chocolate shop, so quaint. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I actually came all the way from Scotland for the weekend and had to make this a special visit to buy some beautiful handmade chocolates. Can anyone beat that 🤣. I would highly recommend. The gelato looked amazing so might just squeeze in a wee visit to try some before I fly home.

I've had Gelato all over Ontario and no where in the GTA or any other spot I've been as amazing Gelato like these guys. Also I never see Grapefruit Gelato anywhere and I can find it here sometimes, it's by far my favorite. Their store and treats and chocolates are amazing also but I come for the dairy free Gelato. The business is ran so well and the people running it do it with care. All time favorite chill spot for a treat in St.Catharines.

We went for the for the first time and had chocolate Gelato. I really like that it felt light, not heavy at all. You must also try the passion fruit Gelato, delicious!

When you walk in the aroma of chocolate is awesome and when you walk inside it feels like on a set of a hallmark Christmas movie set during the holidays the staff is great and the chocolate is mouthwatering, it’s not loaded with sugar like big box stores where your teeth hurt, the gelato which os another name for ice cream is out of this world, I loved the cinnamon one but they have many flavors, the cappuccino, espresso etc is unbelievable, we were visiting the Niagara Falls from Chicago and came upon this store by accident and when I ever I come through here again it’s a definite stop, we bought a few hundred dollars worth of chocolate to give to family and friends, you can also order online if you live in Canada, I wish they shipped to states, I highly recommend this store if you live around here or visiting Niagara Falls or Toronto.

I was exploring the town and suddenly I saw this attractive Ice cream place so I told my wife let’s try it. I had the feeling that it’ll be an amazing experience and it was. The place inside is a part of a fantasy movie with a lot of antiques that tell about the history of the place that had a three generations of happiness creation. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is filled with a magical vibe. The ice cream itself was amazing. Try hazelnut. Plus a live music Saturdays.

Quick, delicious and beautiful outdoor space. Ordered from outside felt super safe. Great customer service from not only the person serving me. We felt at home even though it was our first visit to the city. We spotted this place on the way our original destination and decided we need to stop on the way back. Great decision. 😁

A pretty place with a spot for every taste. Indoor and outdoor seating, air conditioning for hot days, and parking. I love the floral outdoor decor and the vintage indoor decor. Awesome ice cream flavors and fudge. Yum... They even sell candy-themed jewelry!

A wonderful place to stop if you like the following: chocolate, gelato, coffee and cakes. The products are exquisite. The store is eclectic and the hosts are are some of the nicest and most hospitable people that you will ever meet. It is always a joy to visit.

Richard and his shop are simply amazing! We arrived & thought he closed but Richard came outside to let us know he was still open- even though he had to leave to do deliveries! He went above and beyond to even let us try the Apple cake before we bought & it tasted wonderful; he told us it was his grandmother’s recipe. He even gave us a chocolate each to try, the orange passion fruit & I only wish we had more time to select a whole box! His hospitality & kindness was outstanding- I cannot wait to come back, and try even more!

I love Chocolates Etc! There is no comparison to quality, these chocolates are so rich and satisfying, there is a huge variety- really something for everyone. The owners make you feel so warm and welcome will find the perfect chocolate or truffle for you. Love this place and always will- St. Catharines is lucky to have this place!

Worth the trip! Take the time to start a while. Not only is this place the best for desserts, the outside and the inside are so amazingly and tastefully decorated with interesting artifacts and knick knacks. They are probably one of the best tasting, best priced and amazing variety of Italian pastries, chocolate desserts, gelato and non dairy icecreams. They were nominated for awards by the St Catherine's standard to name one, there are others. If you miss visiting this dessert heaven you have lessened your life experience.

We've enjoyed every experience at Chocolates Etc. since our first visit many years ago, and we stop by as often as possible for a treat and the chance to say hello to the wonderful owners. They are unfailingly gracious and hospitable. A box of their chocolates is like a little treasure chest and choosing which beautiful piece to eat next is as much fun as discovering the many flavour and texture variations. A warm and whimsical decor pairs perfectly with coffee, gelato, and pastries so that even a short visit feels like stepping out of time into a happy retreat. We can't figure out how their dairy-free ice is so rich and flavourful. A magical place!

Just went to Chocolate etc today for the first time. I can only say go there and you will never forget your visit it is so relaxing. The people, the coffee and the ice cream was unforgettable. I sure will be going more often. Now you have read this get down there and enjoy yourself. . (thank you all for making me feel so much at home).

Atmosphere, decor, service, drinks , Chocolates, truffles , all 10/10 !!! Did not try the gellato but it looked amazing, something for next time. Patrick made my day by letting me play on the piano, and I can't wait to come back. It's really really worth the visit, go and enjoy !!!

I have seen Chocolate Etc on maps before even coming to Canada and decided it should be one of the first places to visit. I am happy I did, as it turned out to be above and beyond my expectations. The owners and employees are kind, friendly and professional; The place is absolutely beautiful and it will remind you of Europe; The chocolates, gelato and coffee just DELICIOUS! You can go with your family/friends and I can guarantee that you will have a great time, or you can just purchase some handmade chocolates for a perfect gift!
