Mansion has made some drastic improvements. I love the atmosphere and the food is good. Great date night or dinner with friends type of spot. Also some great house music on the right nights

Wish I could give this place 0 stars. Experienced the worst stomach ache of my life here, worse than montezumas revenge. The owner Pete hires any dirt bag he can find without having cook paperwork. The kitchen and bar are infested with cockroaches that are visible while eating your meal. Too bad the owner Pete didn't spend more time at his bar rather than taking new women out every night and going skiing if you know what I mean (putting too much white stuff up his nose with women of the night). Just brutal, this place should be levelled so no one else gets sick.

We had booked reservations a month in advance.. upon arrival they told our large group that they no longer used “ open table” and that we were out of luck.. Even when presented with the email confirmation of the reservation… They made no effort to try to help or accommodate… terrible service

This establishment has been reimagined -- for the better on every level. New menu is excellent and changes seasonally. Chef Nate is excellent, the duck and lamb dishes on fall menu are world class. Sommelier curated wine pairings are excellent with something for everyone and good value. Service under new floor manager is excellent. New renovations are trendy and functional with better flow and use of floor space.

Came in for grand opening. Incredible cocktails, food and service. Highly recommend.

First time visiting the Mansion House and I was pleasantly surprised how large the inside and outside were, very impressive. My friend told me it's one if the oldest bar in Canada and I can see why. The place was packed over the weekend as they were hosting the grape and wine festival, which is lead once every year. I highly recommend checking out this spot along with the live band's that will keep you rocking all night long with good company just having a great time. There are a few bar's located throughout the venue incase you get impatient, washrooms and porter potty during the summer. A parking garage is located next door for the DDs.

Food, service and dance all was excellent

Mansion House recently changed up their menu and got a new head chef who has completely reimagined their food offerings. What a world of difference! It's not your typical pub fare food here, I had the brisket which was Incredible and a great value. Definitely recommend checking out the new menu.

!!!!!The rudest bouncers I’ve ever met in my life!!!!!! i went there with 4 of my friends we all had IDs I gave him mine n he made a small joke about me so I did the same to him and right after I did he gave my ID to the other bouncer n said I have to go thru “further inspection” they asked me to spell my whole name out , I did with no problem then right after I did he says “u did great at spelling your name but we still can’t let u in due to policy’s” but they let all my white friends in, super ruder and disgusting bouncers , always before had a hard time with the bouncers either being too pushy or just full on rude but tonight was the night I’ve actually had enough . DONT PUT YOUR MONEY AND TIME INTO THIS PLACE!!!

This place is good on Wednesdays, Friday & Saturdays for night life. Went in on a Saturday after Midnight, tried to charge me $20 cover... No thanks, walked away.

Stacy is the best sever. I have tried a few things there and the burger is the bomb. It was JUST this side of medium. My friends said I made out with the burger. I would recommend to anyone going downtown for a bite to stop by. (The beer was good too ) Great service very friendly! A must try downtown St.. Catharines.

Had an amazing time. Went there for a friend's birthday and it was a blast the owner A.J is amazing and super friendly and outgoing , the staff were amazing as well. Just a fun place to be. And drama free . Loved it..❤️💋

I had went outside for a smoke break and then one of the security guards (bit on the beach side, glasses and curly black hair) wouldn’t let me back in to get my coat. He looked at me and said, “idc no one else is getting in get your friend to get it” while I sat outside in a t-shirt telling him that my friend was beside me outside and that I had no other friends. The only reason I gave 2 stars and not 1 is because the OTHER security guard opened the door and let me grab my coat. After I showed the security guard who wouldn’t let me in that I had my coat he nodded and hid behind a corner. Disgusting..

Moved to Sarnia and came down and was amazed at the renovations they have done, and the changes to the food menu. Excellent service, excellent food next time I'm back in town It will be on my list to stop again!!

Wonderful food. But service was very slow. Took 45 minutes to get our meal and they gave us both the appetizer and dinner.

Enjoyed a lovely briskets sandwich. Might be the best sandwich in the Niagara region. Wish I took a picture!!

We went for the famous fish and chips. It was my first visit. Loved the murals and the historic architectural details. Excellent job restoring a local landmark.

Solid drinks for reasonable prices, wouldnt recommend getting food unless youre already drunk

My son was WRONGFULLY attacked by the security last night... police show up, don't care as he is 20 and staff are lying about what transpired. Police NRP actually tell my son, he's lucky he isn't seriously hurt as the bouncers are AMA fighters. Then just tell my son to leave or HE will go to jail... I know some people can't hold they're liquor, and security is needed, I worked in bar's and service industry for years, but assaulting innocent people and nothing happens. The aggressive roid filled bouncers make this an unsafe place to allow your young adults to go.

The bouncer reached down the front and back of my pants making me feel extremely uncomfortable and abused his power making my friends lift their shirts mocking their choice of underwear. He grabbed my rear and front end making me extremely uncomfortable going beyond what was needed as a pat down. The place as a whole was fun but the bald bouncer at the front made the entire experience horrible and uncomfortable

Went for dinner last night before the ice dogs game with my son. Food was absolutely delicious and came out in a timely manor giving us more than enough time to make it to the game before pick drop. Love the new atmosphere and menu! Will be back soon
