Not a bad park, it's got two of those pocket monster gyms that my niece plays some game on her phone with. I just like walking my dog there myself. It was way better when they had a pool there but like most kewl things in the city they shut it down.

White sand, clear water, tons of sun and shaded areas also available. Clean bathroom & well maintained park area. Posibility to BBQ & have a fantastic day at the beach. Some rocks when entering the water but can do without water shoes. Water gets deep faster than the water at Wasaga Beach. Surprised that lake Ontario has a beautiful beach like Sunset Beach. Bonus: plenty of Parking & it's free!

Visited the soccer pitches today. Two safe, flat, well maintained soccer pitches. Well marked lines, good solid looking goal posts. Lots of bleachers on the one pitch and a large parking lot attached. Oh, and really close to Dairy Queen, just in case.

One of the few parks intown where one can go with out being asked for extra smokes coffee money or having to step around discarded needles

It's amazing!!! Very neat and wild area, and the water is very cool. Great place to hangout with your friend and family. Just 1h drive from Mississauga. The washroom is not so neat, however, need some maintenance. Still highly recommended.

Used to be a bustling hub of the neighborhood. Now the pools been filled in and only one baseball diamond and soccer field.

It's a shame that public washroom facilities are not open & the portojohn is not cleaned up daily with paper being replaced. Garbage cans were overflowing & not emptied until late Sunday afternoon - we were there for 2 consecutive days.

We go when they host softball games as my daughter plays. The park is always clean and well groomed. Diamonds are in great shape. I haven't used the bathrooms there in years but they're better han the port a pottys they had many moons ago.

The city of St.Catharines should really do something with the land where Langcaster Pool once was.Put A gazebo there maybe.

Great park to watch base all games from local teams plus in the summer you have a local outside swimming pool.

  • 4/5 Elysha S. 3 years ago on Google
I love this beach. It's my go to. Some days are better swimming water than others depending on what's washed up to shore. But the sand is clean. The beach is kept right now for residents which is great. Sometimes it has a smell. But the sunset view makes up for that. 😍

  • 5/5 Punda B. 3 years ago on Google
Clean beach and properly identifying people. Not to busy as they are doing a good job making sure people from other regions aren't aloud as they should have been doing before. Would recommend just please be safe!!!!

  • 4/5 Leslie V. 3 years ago on Google
Beautiful big beach. You have to be aware of where you set up to avoid sewage smell from sewage plant right beside beach area.

A good place to hang around with beach kinda feeling near Toronto. Beach is nice and wide with some green lush nearby for summer barbecue parties. Parking is of medium size; can accommodate around 70-80 cars on floating. If parking is full, no other way around to park. Beach is clean, litter free (has to be per Canadian standards), less noisy and one can see Toronto sky scrapers. If you have jet ski or boat, definitely a good secluded place to enjoy water rides as one can’t expect many boats around like GTA. Definitely must visit place in summer days.

Oh I loved it. Although there is lot going on at this moment regarding construction and etc. It is indeed a good hidden gem.

  • 5/5 Alexandria D. 3 years ago on Google
It's so gorgeous and there's so much space between you and other parties. The water is always so nice and clear. Just know you have to be a Niagara resident or else they don't let you in. They do check for identification. Have fun!!

This is a lovely place for picnic and spend the day with family. Very nice sunset view. Alot of shade area covered with trees, perfect for bbq.

Nice but very crowded beach. When we went there around 11:30 am,security guards seemed to have the situation under control, not too many people and distance was kept as required. After an hour big groups of people came in, it got really crowded and people weren't keeping enough distance from others anymore 😕. Security guards could come often, but we never saw them talking to anyone that wasn't obeying the regulations...Now I feel bad I brought the kids there...

Was a hot day at the beach. A week day so not too crowded like it is on weekends when way too many out of towners end up here during a pandemic! Got a bit sunburned!

⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Goes by its name the best sunset you can ever find. It’s simply breath taking, mind blowing. Just sitting down and watch the fullness of sun sets into the water with its golden glow shines through the waves. You’ll definitely forget all the stress and all bout covid for a long hours. family friendly. Foods available not far from site. You’ll see them along the road as you get closer to the beach. Ample of parking onsite. Parking is free. Parking is right beside the beach. They closed the gate exactly 9pm or whatever closing time they posted. No camp fire and barBQ allowed but who have time to do that when it everyone have their eyes on the gorgeous sunset. Images we took 1st week November of 2020 where it was a record high warm temperature. We’re able to play with our son in the water in a winter month, yes it’s rare and we didn’t waste any moment. It is a nice beach to view the sunset. Parking is free and seems to be popular with the locals. It was very windy the day we went but it was still good. Public bathrooms are available. Nice place to spend time.

It's great as long as the wind is in the right direction....the water treatment plant can get very rank.

Love the beach ⛱ 😍 💙 what's not to love about sunshine and waves lapping up on the beach? My only suggestion is as soon as the sun goes down, leave. There are tiny flying knats that swarm in...but other than that the beach is great <3

To whoever stole my tank top and slippers. I hope you get COVID. Other than that, great beach, better to come with people and keep your belongings safe. People steal in this beach just as a warning.
