Great little valley park that now connects to Port Dalhousie via a long bridge. Beautiful gardens, well maintained, children's park, and grassy & paved walkways. I believe the only washrooms are portable toilets. Lovely choices for picnic areas.

I loved this park.the entrance to this park is very small so you need to pay attention while you take a turn to get into the park it's very easy to miss the entrance gate. Once you enter the park, you have good space for parking but if it's busy then I think it's difficult to find a spot to park. The park is very clean and big to walk around also very well maintained. Nice place to walk around and feel the breeze and greenery. Also be aware of coyotes as there is a warning board being placed.

Great park at Port dalhousie that connects to the beach. We had a long walk around the Martindale pond area then connected to the pier and beach on lake Ontario.

Its a beautiful and quiet park for a walk or picnic. View from the bridge is really nice. I just found one picnic table, there should be more. There are a lot of benches though. They have a play ground for the kids as well. You see alot of people walking their dogs.

Came to this park specifically to see the bridge. Before you get to the bridge there is a nice playground for the kids. If you are around the area it is a nice place for a walk. Also when you’re crossing the bridge you can see in the water that they have canoe competitions here. There is a place across the water where you can sit and watch but that’s on the other side of the water

Love this park! We were pleasantly surprised by how spacious and pretty this space was as we are from out of town and don't have any nice parks like this in our community. Plenty of shady spots to have a picnic, read a book or take a nap. Long trails to walk your dog and the park itself is really well maintained. Hardly any signs of geese poop, weeds or litter and the lawn was cut nice and short. We recommend this park to everyone!

What a jewel of a park! We stopped there for the first time after church. Being that it was 10 degrees and sunny, strolling through the park on well-kept walkways was a great pleasure. And the waterways on either side of a lengthy foot-bridge! Amazing! Love this city!

It’s a really nice park for morning and evening walks, my dog enjoys it and it’s very clean as well and it has some of the best sunrise and sunsets. It’s dog friendly park but dogs should be on the leash. My dog is in the picture and you can follow him on Instagram @ Shibu.thegoldenboy

Good place to go for a nature walk or even a run with the dogs. Beautiful scenery well kept by city. Lots of cool businesses to visit. From the parking lot, over the foot bridge and to the end of the pier in Port then back is about 5km.

This park is well maintained by the city who have planted a diverse blend of native tree species throughout. This in turn attracts a variety of bird life which you can hear in the birdsong as you walk through. There are paved pathways throughout the park so it's ideal for those who may have mobility issues. You can use the connecting bridge from the park to cross the pond and walk over to Port Dalhousie . A serene little spot to spend your lunch break. Either sitting in your car facing the park or on one of the many benches provided .

Large beautiful park with immaculately kept gardens. Big enough that even when it's busier it doesn't feel crowded. Has a nice path for walking your dog and a playground. I only had time for half of it on my trip, but I'd definitely like to come back.

In the winter it is very cool! It does make a nice walk along side the trail there.

I just love the walk trails. Today was very breezy which is nice after the super hot day we have been having. I go early morning 6:30 a.m to avoid the crowds since we are still in lock down cause of Corona Virus.

A little slice of heaven, with a paved walking trail, surrounded by greenery. Includes a small kiddies playspace. Cross the bridge where you can see the Henley rowing venue and visit Port Dalhousie for a beverage or meal. Notable historic monuments here and there. No 'facilities' though. A perfect place for a walk with a friend.

This a great park. It is very nicely maintained. It has an entrance to the pedestrian bridge that crosses to Port Dalousie. Its on the site of the 3rd Welland canal. The original walls at the entrance and land anchors are still visible. It also was previously know as May's Ravine, as noted on original canal drawings and records of lands surrendered by George May and Christian May for the canal to be built.

Love this Park! Winter, Summer, Spring and Autumn, all season interest! Bike, running, sliding with a sled, just go there and spend a few hours enjoying nature. Check out the story behind the park, it seats where it was, once, the entrance for the Welland Canal.

Great spot for a walk (roll, ride, etc). Trail is wide and paved.... hilly enough for varietybut flat enough for those with mobility issues. Views are lovely. Can see water from almost everywhere. Lots of space for a safely distanced picnic.

We love this park. While you're going up the hill to the park (from the parking), keep an on your toddler. Towards the middle of the hill there is a little walk way towards the lake, if they walk on it they may find themselves on a cliff that is pretty high off the ground.

Beautiful decent sized park, that has paths winding through well kept gardens during spring, summer and fall and hillsides for great tobogganing in winter. Great for dog walking, especially over the Henley Pond, via a sturdy bridge, that leads into Port Dalhousie and the Lakeside park and beach areas.
